We visited this lovely cafe this morning while waiting for an appointment at the hospital, which is just across the road. The staff were very welcoming as soon as we arrived. We ordered a Latte, a Mocha and Cinnamon Swirl and they were all delicious. We normally head for one of the large chains of coffee shops, so it made a nice change to be supporting a small business. We are not local to Sheffield but will definitely visit the cafe when we're there for future hospital appointments. We would highly recommend to anyone local to or visiting Sheffield.

A superb find very close to The Hallamshire Hospital. The best sandwich I’ve ever tasted. Beautiful fresh ingredients and fabulous coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful and our dogs were welcomed and brought a water bowl over. Very good value for money, highly recommended.

My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to The Francis Newton Pub when we chanced upon this cafe and what a great find. A lovely, cosy cafe ,neat and tidy interior, good decor and furnishings and despite its relatively small size there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe, its a very cool place . We ordered a flat white coffee each, served steaming hot, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve, these are the type of cafe's I love, not endemic chain cafe's but a cafe with soul . We really enjoyed our coffee's in here, only stayed briefly but I must say we were both impressed with this cafe. Elm Coffee is easy to locate along Glossop Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 8am till 1pm. Saturday & Sunday, Closed. A wonderful cafe, one I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

Tigs was a last minute discovery when I was in Sheffield Centre waiting for a train. Just behind the Cathedral, Tigs offered a friendly welcome, excellent coffee and perfect bagels. The cakes looked good too and there were plentiful vegan options. The helpings were good value, with generous portions and interesting toppings.

Wow what an incredible brunch. I wasn’t expecting too much but boy do they toast well. I thought how could it be different to what I make at home but I was so wrong. The best brunch experience I’ve ever had!

I love their pastries and I love this business!!! Getting your treats from them is an absolute win-win and I really can’t recommend them enough ❤️❤️❤️ Let me tell you why! These guys do the BEST pastries full-stop (the fact they’re also vegan is just lucky for me as I’m dairy intolerant!). We’ve been huge fans since first trying their cinnamon rolls in Pom, following them to any market they were at and were ecstatic when they opened a cafe/shop next door to their bakery, just down the road! I’ve been nagging them for months to make churros croissants again and three weeks ago I saw on Insta that they had…but I was too late to get there and get one 😢 I bemoaned that loudly 😁 and was told they’d be making them again the next Saturday. I messaged to say that I couldn’t get there then because of a funeral but I would be in last Saturday and had my fingers crossed that they’d be making them again. Rocked up last Saturday morning to get pastries for brunch with friends (hadn’t confirmed I was coming in) and was a bit sad to not see them on the counter. Before I could say anything, Jim (aka “Lovely Rita”) said “morning, I haven’t got the churros on the counter today but I made a couple especially for you, they’re just out back, and I was so sorry to hear about your friend”. I NEARLY CRIED 😭 (at his kindness and that he knew who I was) The churro croissants were de-li-cious but I have to say that everything we bought that day was too especially the twice-baked snickers pain au chocolat and the strawberry sweetheart croissant. In fact, I don’t think we’ve ever had a bad pastry from them – get yourselves down there asap and see if I’m right or if I’m right!
