The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

I come from a cheffing background where I worked my way up to double award winning for best contemporary cuisines in Armagh last year and part of the team that won it the year before and my sous chef stepped up the game and won it again. So I know my food. Customer service is top shelf , I’ve tried every chippy in portadown and between chips direct and TFM. Chips direct do it best. Tried battered fish for the first time in uk. The staff was very kind in explaining the difference in fish types and which are popular. The fish were very crispy and airy. Not all all oily. The chips were the most best chips we have had. Also tried the breaded mushroom which were garlic mushrooms!! So tasty i brought some for home!!

Underwhelmed by their chips.... Fish was okay. Didn't realize that they would leave the skin on during cooking when I ordered haddock. 🤔

From the aroma outside, through to the "scraps" this is a fish n chip shop that concentrates on a core menu and delivers excellence. This excellence extends to the service from the team. Great to see a thriving local business.

Wow , I occasionally pop in now and again for chicken and chips, always ask for I piece of chicken, but tonight when I got home and unwrapped what I thought was a present, 2 pieces of chicken, !! Boom, honestly you guys, happy Easter

Recently increased prices and the last two times served me hake when I paid for cod. Everything was well cooked though.

Excellent little chippy. It has recently been taken over by a new owner and the quality of food is absolutely amazing. I would argue that they could be the best chippy in Gosport right now! The chips are crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle and the batter they use is crunchy and not greasy in the slightest. Also I would recommend their home made curry sauce as it's the best curry sauce I've ever had (and I've been to a lot of chippys around the UK)

Great fish n chips served here.

First time using this Chinese because we needed one open on a Monday. We were quite disappointed. Main meals were okay (not amazing) but the ribs were so fatty and the salt and pepper starters (wings and ribs) were so heavy with the salt that they were impossible to eat. Definitely sticking to our usual place from now on.
