The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

The fish and chips at this shop were absolutely fantastic—some of the freshest I’ve had in a long time. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the chips were golden and flavorful. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had in a while, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!

I come from a cheffing background where I worked my way up to double award winning for best contemporary cuisines in Armagh last year and part of the team that won it the year before and my sous chef stepped up the game and won it again. So I know my food. Customer service is top shelf , I’ve tried every chippy in portadown and between chips direct and TFM. Chips direct do it best. Amazing hotel - nice style! Friendly staff with good recommandations. Perfect location to be fast in the city center by foot. We loved it here and would definitvely come back.

Tried battered fish for the first time in uk. The staff was very kind in explaining the difference in fish types and which are popular. The fish were very crispy and airy. Not all all oily. The chips were the most best chips we have had. Also tried the breaded mushroom which were garlic mushrooms!! So tasty i brought some for home!!

Underwhelmed by their chips.... Fish was okay. Didn't realize that they would leave the skin on during cooking when I ordered haddock. 🤔

Whenever I go to a chippy I always have beef and onion pie, so I know it's the one in the red foil. I could see there was one ready in the heater so I ordered that. A chap came in after me and ordered the same and his was ready before mine and he took the pie. As a result, I was given a soggy pie which must have been cooked in the microwave. Not a bit of puff pastry in sight. Very disappointed. The chips were decent and the curry sauce was pretty bland. I also think this is overpriced. £7 for a kids sausage and chips meal and £4 for a pie. The young lad who served me was really friendly. The man cooking the food didn't seem particularly friendly and didn't say a word or look up at any of his customers. Wouldn't return here when there are other chip shops available nearby.

The Food was really nice we enjoyed it . The Service was Great , we got quickly our food . It was also very clean .

My son loves this fish and chip shop he has it when he goes to his grandparents. However I just got him a takeaway and it has 2 long dark hairs in all the chips. When I asked my son who picked the food up who served the food Turns out the girl serving had her long dark hair down while serving the food, surley should be tied in a pony tail at least?! When I rang to say the girl who answered did not seem bothered at all. :/ !!
