The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

Overall a beautiful restaurant/bar over looking the lake. The food could do with more seasoning in the food. Would come back for sure.

We had a lovely lunch here, it’s a beautiful spot and the weather was lovely. The staff are good and helpful and there is a varied selection of fresh fish. Also the chips and salad were good. Two of us had the chargrilled sea bream, it was absolutely stunning. If you like fish this is the place to go.

Highly recommended the baked black truffle butter oyster and Native oysters!! The grilled scallops cooked perfectly . The oyster shooter woke my taste bud up 😋😋Must try this seafood restaurant if you go to Whitstable.

Ordered a regular chips and curry sauce. Portion a lot smaller than usual and curry sauce watery. Tried to say something but server too busy on their phone to notice.

Lovely restaurant by the river. Good food and welcoming service. Quiet when we went but it was a Monday evening.

A member of our party was gluten free. Reviews said they did gluten free food so thought would give them a try. Queued for 20 minutes to be then told they don't do gluten free fish and chips. Maybe as it was busy they just couldn't be bothered. Not impressed. 😡

Best chippy in town. Always have there Large variety box after work each Sunday as work just across the road. Friendly staff know our order before we have walked in. Great prices and the addition of breakfast eat in or takeaway is awesome.

Great communication and updates

Brilliant service by the young girl, helpful too. However, mayonnaise went on my burger without asking, so I couldn't finish it 🙃 Luckily, there is no allergy. However, vigilance on offering of any sauces just in case, but everything else was perfect, the kids ate all theirs, which is a miracle because they don't normally 😂 We come here often! Highly recommended 👌

The food was good, but the service was a bit hit-and-miss. One waitress looked like she’d had enough, while the other was polite and helpful. The latte wasn’t great—clearly from a packet. Overall, decent food, but some things could be improved.

We had our Anniversary meal with friends here, the signature venison is to die for cooked to perfection. Service and Staff are a real credit to the Group . A+

This was food from the takeaway. Not in the restaurant. It was extremely disappointing. Dreadful batter and soaked in fat. The fish was awful. I live in the middle of the country and the fish and chips here are way better. They cost £40 as well. 3 fish, 2 chips. Would not mind the cost but threw most away.

Service was very good but the haddock and chips that we took back to our hotel were the sodden with oil. So much so that it threatened to leak through the bottom of the box it was supplied in. If you like that sort of thing go for it. I like mine cooked in hot oil not soaked in it.
