Chips were nice, I believe they are cooked in beef dripping, they taste just like the chips at the Black Country Living Museum.

The owner is such a gentleman in this place. Other staff very pleasant too. Food is very nice hence why it's my favorite place in the town for a takeaway. They deserve good business as they are good people.

I bought fish cakes and chips. The chips were really horrible. The 1 star is not even warranted for them.

Only call in when travelling to Chard, always make detour to get my fish and chips here. The batter and fish is the best I have ever had, from Blackpool, Yorkshire, all over UK. Best wishes.

Best fish and chips in herne bay

If you love our visit North Lowestoft and fancy some really good fish & chips, you won't beat going to Pips in Queens Road, beautifully cooked and very reasonable prices. Try the XL Cod but only if you're hungry! !

Great food and very reasonable prices

Portion size was tiny. £4 for a large, certainly wasn't large. Old fella watching the girl behind the til like a hawk serving up chips so she doesn't give a decent portion. Only got two stars as the chips tasted alright.

Just had fish and chips from here...stone cold and the batter was like concrete...waste of money I rekon it was lunchtimes warmed up..last time going in there for food

What's to say? Shrimp po-boy was class. Fresh roll, rich prawns, spicy, sauce, crunchy pickles and lettuce. Owner was great craic too. Would happily go back
