Food is great value at this chippy and the portion sizes are decent - often causing myself to over indulge. Very friendly behind the counter and serve you with a smile.

This has to be one of the best fish and chip shops in the area. All orders are cooked fresh by Luke. The large cod is beautifully cooked, and both the scampi and chicken nuggets are large pieces and taste delicious. The chips are both generous portions and the best chips I have tasted. I would have absolutely no hesitation in visiting this fish and chip shop regularly in the future

Excellent as always....I’m saved from a night of cooking and my hungry boys are more than happy. We eat from here fairly regularly and the food is always great. The service is always really good, I’ve never been in and NOT seen him in a friendly conversation with his customers. Tonight when we ordered, he directed his questions about the burger fillings at my son, not me, which is a nod to his exceptional customer service and people skills. My chip butty hit the spot and it’s set the tone for a great weekend....great place to eat! Thank you

Really decent staff, very friendly and welcoming, fine range of spot on food to. (they even do kebabs!) My only issue is i'm always in there!

Yeah spot on this place. Super friendly staff, I love popping in there. Chips, the whole family love and go down very well Kebabs, I'm the only one who eats them in my household. They do the job very nicely and goes down with a nice box of onion rings 😜 Belly buster (I think it's called) yeah really enjoyed that, it has a little spice to it to but not too much for me as I'm a pansy with spice. Good section of drinks.

The owner needs to change his oil more regularly... greasy and horrible old oil flavoured... will not be returning!

Food is good but be prepared for a wait even if slightly busy seems owners mates are the priority 30min wait for kebab and chips put me off going back!

Fish and chips are always very good and well cooked. The staff are always friendly and the Gyros was an unexpected treat.

Have sampled the fish (cod/haddock), sausage and chips for some time now and never had a problem.......but now I've become a regular kebabber!! Both the chicken and lamb kebabs are delicious and as with all servings, these are generous. Fresh salad, garlic mayo top off this feast. Try phoning your order through so its ready for collection. Good food, quick service and great hygene.

Perfect, traditional chips. I may be old fashioned, but kebabs belong in a kebab shop 😉

Para ser honesto, he evitado chips por un tiempo debido a la lentitud del servicio y no 100% contento con la comida.Falta de tiempo me trajeron oír de nuevo, Yo realmente quería ser sorprendido y esperábamos una gran tienda chip local. Pero de nuevo me decepcionó..Degustación de pescado era pequeña y muy amarga y grasa, supongo que por la grasa es preparado. Las patatas fritas eran bien.El servicio es lento. . .Hay otros peces n chips tiendas en la zona que ofrecen un servicio más rápido y comida mejor. Me gustaría mucho esta tienda, yo le daría un par de meses y volver de nuevo. . Nunca se sabe. . . .

I try to get chips from here whenever possible. They are the best I have found since moving to Hampshire in 2007 and is well worth the 10+ mile drive to get them

No hemos tenido el pescado y patatas fritas por un tiempo muy largo, ya que nunca pudo encontrar una buena tienda de chips.Sin embargo unos 3 meses atrás tropecé con esta tienda encantadora en Whiteley.Gran pescado realmente fresco y no como masa pesada y las patatas son geniales también.Lo recomendaría encarecidamente y podrán llamar y te ponen el pescado así que cuando llegues allí listo para llevar.Todo cocinado mucho mejor y más fresca.

Visited the other night to grab dinner after going to a College Open Evening. The service was fast and it was nice to have a place that had everything in stock. As mentioned, service was speedy and the food was good quality. The workers like to make everyone feel welcome and like to interact. Really pleased!

Terrible service just spent £9.40 on two fish and one regular chips they don't even do small chips??? got home and the chips were cold No customers in the chip shop at the time which seems strange as Friday night are always busy in a fish and chip shop? I called the chip shop back and the manager said that he would give us some more chip.I confirmed that if we came back the fish would be cold.The Manager confirmed that he would check the heat in the warmer and then turn it up . Any descent Manager would of said next time you come in I will give you some more chip Well we have just moved to the area and will not be using this chip shop again. Now I know why the shop was empty

Our local chip shop. Very good chips always freshly cooked and great pies. I have tried the fish a few times too and this is also very tasty. Quite expensive but there is no competitor so can't really expect anything else.

Nice fish & chips, but waited over 30 mins tonight for 3 small cod & 1 small chips. Very busy, but two customers came in after me, had more complex orders & walked out before me. Eventually the girl behind the counter saw I was getting twitchy & found my ticket! I said I had been waiting for ages & was berated by the proprietor for raising my concern. No apology, but instead there were faces pulled from behind the fryer (I did see you!). I said that I won't be back, as I have a choice & that choice is to never go there again! Crap customer service which could have been put right with a sincere apology, instead I was ridiculed for raising a complaint about the service. Not going back there again...........................

Este tiene que ser una de las más consistentemente buenas tiendas de chip en la zona. Han sido más de 30 veces y nunca me ha decepcionado.

Used to use not anymore the quality of the food has plummeted, not worth a visit, avoid it if you can!

this fish shop was ok when first opened now it gone down hill and over priced not good taste now staff are ok but only want money and the manager or owner has to keep telling staff what to do high turn over of staff

Went in the other day and the 'boss' was telling off a member of staff in front of everyone. Not sure about that management style, for one thing makes you feel uncomfortable, but the Fish and Chips were good though.

This is the only fish and chip's in Whiteley, there's one also just in park gate, but the Whiteley takeaway is a good solid offering. Food is always plentiful, the wait is never too long, its well situated with free parking, always busy which is good to see.We go about once a month and never had an issue. Only reason not giving it a 5 is because it's not head and shoulders a above your average chippy.

Always get fish and chips from here, over other local chippies, in a great location, wasy access. Gets quite bisy at lunchtimes when people from local businesses go in! Local, friendly, reasonably priced and great quality. Free, easy parking outside. Really can't fault it!

The service here is really good, the people who work here always look like they are having a fun evening and chat with the customers and each other in a friendly way. Even when you have to wait for your order the team acknowledge you quickly and let you know how long the wait will be. Food is good, area looks clean and tidy. Not the cheapest of places but portion size is good and the food is good quality. Parking available outside and never a problem. Only improvement I could make would be if they were open 7 days a week.
