Very expensive for fish and chips, £10. Quite a small portion. Fish made to order and it was nice and crispy. Chips not so great, all different colours from probably frying at different times. Will not visit again.

Normally happy with fish and chips here before, but this time they were dry and overcooked.

Always excellent fish and chips! They will cook your fish in gluten free batter if you give them a few minutes notice. The people are very friendly. It's not a restaurant though, it's a take-away, but there are picnic benches outside. Nowhere else in the area do they cook in oil rather than dripping. 🐟🍟

Great fish & chips, delicious fresh fish cooked to order, generous portions. Why go to the big chains around here for a takeaway when you can support a great little local business?

Sign outside and said, "Traditional dish and chips." Tradition in Guiseley and West Yorkshire is for the food to be fried in beef dripping but this was cooked in vegetable oil. If you can stomach vegetable oil, give it a go as the portions were generous and nicely cooked. However, vegetable oil is not for me, thanks.

First visit will not return .The chips were very OVERCOOKED which left them very DRY HARD Most of them we had to throw away .

First and last visit. Chips were like cardboard and overcooked. Fish portions were small and also overcooked. They tasted as if they were the leftovers from the lunch time opening and at £15 for two fish and a portion of chips were extremely overpriced and poor value for money. We will not return!!

I took my mate Brian Potter here today he could not believe how good the fish and chips was where he comes from they don't cook it this way normally they cook fish and chips in beef dripping in Yorkshire but here they do it in vegetable oil #got to try it

Io usually love the fish and chips from here but the portion size are half of what we are used to from here. The last 2 times I've visited are order had been wrong. Peter needs to go back to the old formula which really worked so well

Called here on Saturday teatime for some Fish & Chips for all the family, very reasonably priced and cooked to order as per our tastes and I must say that the fish were excellent and enjoyed by all. Worth a visit.

Poor, very poor.....very strong taste to the fish as though it’s been frozen like cheap supermarket fish and grey......or just off! Not many chips at all, for £6.80 a very poor portion..... don’t waste your money!

Don’t eat Fish & Chips that often but Victoria is always our favourite. Cooked fresh to order and definitely worth waiting for as the fish has super crispy batter. Would highly recommend a visit.

I understand people enjoy everything fresh, but it took a while to get my food once ordered even though I was the only one in there. The place was very clean surfaces and utensils. The worst part is the price I imagine they aren’t that busy so their price has to reflect that but I paid £8.40 and got very little chips and a fish with a portion of curry sauce (way too much for one person) maybe a smaller portion would be good. Overall the food was nice but the price and wait has put me off from returning unfortunately.

First time visitor to the area, and if you are, be sure to stop by this traditional chippy, had beautiful haddock and chips, with much peas, quick and friendly service, would highly recommend! Thank you..

Fish and chips very good quality, however , due to my Scottish accent I was given the wrong order. I was given fish on a bap instead of what I call a "fish supper". Lots of confusion and time wasting.

I have used 'Victoria' on several occasions. I agree with a previous comment that the quality and quantity is extremely variable.

Being local to this fish and chip shop I go on the odd occasion . The food is of an average standard but the portion control is not consistant . You can go on two separate occasions and there can be at least half the amount of chips on the second vistit as you got on the first . in relation to the price which isn't cheap, I would expect the staff to get the correct training on what portion to give .

Always pop down to Victoria Road when visiting the area as the fish and chips are great. We never eat them normally as we live in the South and they just do not do great f and c. Here they do - all cooked to order so fantastically fresh and hot and in boxes not paper so keep well for the journey home.
