The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

Nice staff and very nice food. No complaints. Sometimes if you have a large order then something is forgotten, but if you remind them it's okay. Very busy on a Friday evening. You can eat inside in a separate area but most people do takeaway. The mini fish and chips is a very big portion and not that different in size to the bigger one.

Great chippy, my Mrs just said that it's the best chippy chips she has ever had, high praise indeed, so glad we live local so we can call in regularly

Loved everything about this place. Perfect setting by the harbour in the sunshine, really great selection of food, quick service. Thoroughly recommend.

Looks better from the outside. A bit unprepossessing on the inside. No need to book though. Nice moules frites. Depressingly they didn't know where the mussels were from- they are cultivated in the Menai trait and the Conwy estuary, but these could have been from anywhere. Never mind. Good and cheap and a nice bottle of inexpensive Rueda.

Fish size has halved and prices have doubled. No longer worth it as other places locally are better value by far. 10cm regular cod for over £9. Possibly taking advantage of Easter bank holiday but we will no longer be supporting them.

Blue ocean is always my go to - however tonight we have ordered a takeaway and was really dissapointed. It was tasteless. The madras wasnt spicy and they sent chicken tikka instead of normal chicken. The rogan josh lacked taste and spices. The mixed grill was very dry. Really dissapointed as im a regular to blue ocean.

Having walked around Port Issac and got quite wet we need a good cup of coffee before setting off to Bude. The tea room at the Old School Hotel was in the idea spot so in we went. Again this is one of the filming venues from Doc Martin so we were probably going to visit even if it had been a scorching day. The decor is still keeping to a very traditional style, with touches of modern thrown in. We decided to fore go the coffee and have a Cornish Cream Tea. The staff here are very friendly and our order was taken. In no time at all a very delicious looking Cornish Cream Tea arrived and it was. Ater our tea we were able to walk around the old school section which is now used mainly as a restaurant. If ever we decide to come back to Cornwall the Old School Hotel will be on our list to stay at.

Been here a few times over the years. When we pop over to Brean for the day. Never had a bad meal. Loads of variety. Car park around the back. See you again this year 2025.

Trenchers accepted our booking for 6 people at 6pm on Sunday evening despite the fact they close at 6pm So when half of our party arrived 10 minutes early , they were told they must order straight away as kitchen at 6 pm . Why oh why would a restaurant accept a table booking at the time of closing? It was one of party 's birthday ..which was obviously spoilt by us having to eat our food a breakneck speed Poor poor poor management Trenchers .

By the time the food arrived it was cold. Delivered by a courier on a push bike.

Great fish bar! Offered lovely food we used to love it. Unfortunately it's been closed down now for roughly two weeks with no signs on the door and no info online. We have no idea what happened.

ATROCIOUS service, almost as bad as the food. Cold, limp, and tasteless. I am appalled at the lack of quality, especially somewhere that preaches authenticity. Shocking.
