Unfortunately food needed to go in the microwave on arrival, possibly just a very busy night.

The food here is always great. I use the app to order for collection, works well.

Second time ordering from here and cannot rate this place highly enough. Best burgers I’ve ordered online. Ever.

Had fish and chips. Quick and friendly. Batter on cod crisp. Bit greasier than average. Chips decent. Overall good.

Disappointed with our fish, it was all batter, and not very big for a medium cod. We ordered 3 medium cod , 2 large chips and watery curry sauce for £34 Sadly we thought it was a lot of money for what we had on this occasion

My order was for delivery and it came super fast. You should try the Spam fritter, very tasty.

ridiculous still have not received my food

Chips tasted nice. However, I paid £5.50 for a large and was not enough for 2 people. Ridiculous charge for such a small amount. Would not recommend!!

Had takeaway from here when my girlfriend came in she said she has an order we placed online and the girls answered with rudeness, she asked if the medium chips had no vinegar on them and they said “I don’t know I didn’t make it” which came across very rude, then the girls looked at each other and sniggered, not very welcoming not very nice to make someone feel a certain way, also forgot my drink too. Won’t be back purely the fact the customer service was so poor. Food was ok though apart from the sausage which was overcooked and had split down the middle. Also the curry sauce isn’t very nice.

Always delicious, and now able to order online as well! Highly recommended.

Ordered chicken nuggets partion of chips double cheeseburger with bacon 2 cans of coke, after arriving an hour late the food had to thrown away as it was stone cold never received the cans of coke this as happened 3 times on the trot now. I honestly thought we found a decent place for a takeout this place as gone done hill that’s all we are being told it is busy , time to look for a new chippy to order from as I’m disabled.

Ordered at 6.45 was told it would be delivered by 7.45 . Food arrived at 8.25 . Unacceptable and it was cold and soggy . Had to throw most of it away. Never will order delivery again .shame as when you go in person the food is brilliant. I have been put off now. I live 10 minutes away from the shop??

On opening our food up we had ordered battered sausages not plain jumbo.It was disappointing just wanted to let you know it wasn't what we had ordered.We normally have a good experience. Nicky

We got 2 medium cod and medium chips it was inexpensive for a reason. The batter was aweful. The chips were so soggy they mushed together. I would not purchase it again

30 minutes late came freezing cold and order curry sauce on chips and no curry sauce came ask for onions in burger and none came

Fish nice, but batter soggy . Chips soft under cooked clumped together. Very greasy. Ate it because I was hungry but would not go back.

Absolutely delicious. Had plaice and haddock, both freshly cooked. Chips amazing as always. Not boxed up until I arrived, so piping hot and not soggy. Recommended+++++++

Best fish and chips in Paignton, great price. Only complaint, ordered on line for collection at a time slot and still had to wait 20 mins longer for order to be prepared.

Food was good, crispy batter on fish. Chips were stuck to paper and gravy had a weird spice to it, unsure if accidentally mixed with curry sauce? Overall nice meal.

To start with young girl behind the desk was more intrested in talking to the just eat delivery guy than talking taking our order , there were no please and thanks. Fish was cold, chips weren’t even chips they were mashed potato. Curry sauce was cold. I wouldn’t waste your money.

Delivered super quickly, huge portions and was delicious. But you can order through their own website apparently so I’ll be doing that next time.

Fish was dry and over good the batter was to crispy and hard chips not the best chicken nuggets nit great pie OK. Definitely would never buy that again

given they had a delivery driver crashed into food understandably was late however it still tasted lovely .hope the driver is ok and not injured . all the best Martin & family

Told ‘ready for collection’ had to wait 20mins in shop for two saveloys . It was ridiculous to watch 3 very young looking people trying to navigate a microwave to heat up my saveloys and still getting it wrong! They were cold/uncooked… had to cook it myself at home, if you are going to employ children as least teach them how to use a microwave!

dont just dont just a disgusting soggy mess will never use this place again customers complaining on the phone too. waste of money

Hands down the best Fish and Chips I have had in a long time. Cooked traditionally in beef dripping you really can taste the difference 😋 If I didn't live so far away I would be back many times. Fish was fresh and tasty, Chips were quality potato and cooked just right.

A bit disappointed 3 med cods given one small asked large chips looks like like medium portion curry large pots look small for the price not worth the money staff need to be more customer friendly

Had our food delivered this time, one meal of scampi ordered for our birthday friend was missing. Chips and fish that arrived was cold. Phoned to ask for the scampi to be sent up immediately. The girl kept trying to say they were busy so I couldn't speak to the manager. Eventually passed me over, he realised he had left the scampi out and would send it up. By the time it arrived we had all finished our meals as they were already cold and had our desserts. So the poor driver who arrived was not happy with the service as he was having to apologise everywhere. This business needs to get organised and pack deliveries properly, fish was limp batter soggy. Not good. Make sure correct order goes out. I won't be back.

As delicious a meal as ever from Ocean Wild. Pie was tasty and chips cooked in beef dripping still piping hot when they were delivered. Lovely, friendly drivers. Ordered using their app for the first time, selected what time I wanted to pick up and got there a few mins before. Food was ready for me at the exact time requested. Probably the best food we've had from there yet. All fresh and very hot. Cooked perfectly.

Was collecting fish and chips for my Mum, who doesn't drive any more. Didn't eat it myself as had other arrangements for lunch. Service was good, wait was not too long, and what I took away was very hot. Mum enjoyed it. Too many chips and ordered a small one!!

This is the best Fish and chips in Torbay. Always good quality and taste. Delivered still hot so it's so much more enjoyable

Best part was the peppercorn sauce, I guess... Burger was literally a sorry-looking bun, chicken and cheese. chips were average and didn't have any S&V after asking for it. Mushy peas were yellow? Driver arrived with 1 of 2 drinks and said he'd return with the 2nd, but never did. Hope he enjoyed it, I guess. Not a glowing experience :(

Ordered a meal online via the restaurant's website. Food failed to arrive so we called the number on the site only to be told they have not got the order paid for via their website. We have to visit tomorrow to perhaps get a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS they are rip off merchants.

Whilst usually very good, this evening it was awful. The order was supposed to be here around 6.10 but at 6.12 I was informed it was delayed. At 6.50 I was told it was on its way. It arrived at 7.15 (not the 6.20 it says on the order). The food was cold and my haddock was overcooked! I appreciate you're busy but we're not impressed.

Ordered takeaway many times. Food is always well cooked and hot on delivery. Points scheme is a bonus

This was my 2nd online order via the Ocean Wild App & its was absolutely delicious. Food arrived on time, hot and it was cooked so nicely. Fish was flakey & chunky, batter and chips were delicious! (Chef’s Kiss) Curry sauce is the best. Would highly recommend Ocean Wild, if you want to best chippy in Paignton!
