Bounty Fisheries in Suffolk Coastal

Has really gone downhill in the last few years. Was always my favourite place to get chips for years. Now only go here if queues in other restaurants are to LONG!

Order ready and waiting at collection time. Generous portion of crispy chips. Tasty curry sauce. However the fish was not so good. It was obviously not fresh and I am still trying to get rid of the smell in the car and kitchen 3 days later!

Not impressed with the service. Placed an order to be delivered, this was two days ago. It took two hours before food arrived! Fish and chips were the worst we've ever had from you,food was all dry as if it had been stood for a while.Had to throw a lot of it away. Will not be buying food from here anymore.

Well over 2 and a half hour for this deliver when it finally did turn up the holl meal was stone cold and inedible. the delivery was rejected I'm now looking to put in a complaint against Just eat not the restaurant

Food tastes absolutely foul the chips had a nasty bitter taste the sausage was cold ended up throwing it away and price was a joke

Had wait for our order which wasn't a problem but when received I asked if salt and vinegar had been added which they said had but on examination it hadn't so went back so they could add salt and vinegar. Just wish they had been honest in the first place and not been rushed through

I've heard a lot about this fish and chip shop and it didn't disappoint, popped in to grab dinner for myself and my wife. My wife having chili cheese bites which were very nice and I had chicken nuggets which also a very nice. They were pretty much cooked to order so a small wait but meant everything was nice and hot. Will use again when wanting chips in the beach in the evening.

Worst experience ordering from here first off the time of delivery kept changing so my food eventually over an hour over the initial order. Secondly the chips look and smell like they were pulled out of the bin and heated up in the microwave!

The pies were microwaved and unedible. Shouldn’t take the easy route and microwave and expect full payment. Wrong

Ordered Fish and Chips, and Gluten-free Fish and Chips. You need to allow 30mins for GF items, but cooked in a separate fryer so can't complain!

Tried to short change me twice now and the food is disgusting and they wash the floor while they have customers in and tell the customers to move, what a total waste of time and money

Not great. Cod bites had a weird taste and barely cooked, chips cold.

Only wanted two portions of chips and made us wait for ages, so instead of just getting the que down they waited until previous orders were cooked. Normally people use their brains but I guess that’s young people today, just unable to think ahead!

Missed the fish out of our order and the chicken was cold in the middle. Usually really nice but not today.

Was told one time then it kept changing. Phoned the restaurant at 20.15 they said it had left with the driver 5 minutes before I rung. The food is cold. Not the restaurant fault but you're driver.

The food was luke warm by the time it arrived half an hour late. I think fish and chips need to be eaten as close to cooking as possible so it wasn’t the treat that I’d hoped for.

Service and quality of food was excellent

Delicious fish and chips. The curry sauce is to die for! My only criticism is that the fish can be slightly sloppy/soggy. It is probably sweats when wrapped for delivery. Extra crispy would be better! All in all, it's good.

This has been the 2nd time they messed up my order so when I did go in and complain that my order was wrong they had the nerve to tell me I had to pay to get the items I wanted in the first place. All the staff at the counter are miserable and I never seen one of them crack a smile there is no customer service at all. I definitely won't be going there again even if its the last fish & chip shop in my area.

Lovely fish and chips and great service

The rocky fish was very greasy soaked right through the wrapping paper. My hands were soaked with grease. So please next time drain the oil out properly before packing.

Barely warm, and the fish was soggy and stuck to the insert tray and broke apart when removed leaving partly sticking to the tray. Not a good experience! This was our second delivery, the first was 10 times better.

Chips barely warm and firm fish ok but not up to usual standard.

Driver arrived and immediately started shouting at me. I've only just gotten over the fact that this has happened and now I am no longer hungry and haven't enjoyed my meal. Could not eat the fish, it smelt off, the chips were cold and the Sausages were doomed, not cooked properly, garlic mushrooms were OK. For £27 pounds, I'll never order from there again. What made it worse was I couldn't get through other phone to complain, disgusting, 0 out 10

We waited over 2 hours for it to be delivered. And when it arrived it was cold and dry as if it had been under a halogen lamp for too long.

Food luke warm not nice. I rang the shop not helpful at all so i woun't order again. As for Just eat very poor service delivery driver did apologize. We told there driver we had waited over Two hours, Poor service alround not happy.

At this order, disgusting, smellie fish could not eat it, the worst I've ever had. Whoever cooked this should be sacked ! a disgrace To your business , and for a £27 order, I am so angry, don't think I'll be going back again

Accidentally did delivery instead of collection, however the driver was at the restaurant for an hour waiting for the food. He said when he arrived they were rude to him & made him wait until all people with walk in orders had been served & left, even though they had ordered well after I had. The food was lukewarm & soggy, you could tell it had been cooked/wrapped up & just left for ages. Disappointed because I usually love the bounty but won’t use again

For a service charge of £1.99 the service was absolutely dreadful! App kept telling me that the courier was at Bounty when clearly he wasn’t. And order was saying the delivery would be with me by 1935 so when they did arrive the order was lukewarm at best

This was very very late I spoke the restaurant and they have been waiting for the driver to pick. When the driver finally delivered my order and I said he was late he was very rude to me this is not acceptable and I want compensation.

The tastiest Cod I’ve had in years. The food was piping hot even my cat said yum yum yum.

Driver was very rude and couldn’t find our Lodge so had to go and find him to get my order when I tried to tell him how to get to me he’s response was to come get or he take back and I have to go get myself very rude man

Batter on Spam Fritter was not properly cooked

Both the service and food were the usual high quality.

Ordered fish and chips. And peas and curry sauce. To which we got only pie and chip. None of the order was write. . And I paid £29 for this. What a ripe off¹

Ordered for 19.00 Arrived 20.50. Chips cold and fish luke warm, batter tough. Shame because past orders have been really good

Prices are going up, up and up every time I visit. £4.40 for large chips. I was a regular, but now taking my business elsewhere.

Haddock was huge... but undercooked and almost choking on the scales left behind, remember a few years ago used to order from there and got chips and a drink for about £10 now it's only the undercooked fish with a bunch of scales.

Chips,onion rings and scampi was cold other than that ,delivery man said he stopped to help a motorbike he could have dropped the food off and gone back to help him he's a delivery man not a mechanic customers should come first

No problem - driver called to check where i was and found me no problem.

Dripping in fat. Burger roll inedible as just full of grease, sorry. Only ate the halloumi, rest went in bin.

Large chips £5.80. absolutely insane and they're not particularly large either. I won't be back.

I was on way to recieve a discount as had accumulated the necessary a total of 4 but because I had to for some reason sigh in again as a visitor I had to pay full price for my meal no rebate was mentioned

Ordered two cod only received one you said that you would credit my account with £8.00. Went to order yesterday but there was no credit showing.
