The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in England

Me and my dad were having a lovely day reminiscing over his youth spent in the area so we thought we'd stop in for a bite to eat and wow were we blown away! As soon as we stepped inside the door, in fact! I don't know which was more offensive, the stale smell of piss that greeted me as I stepped into the pub, or the older Irishman sat down at a table who clearly had no intention of getting up behind the bar to greet his (by the looks of it, only) customers. Instead I got a very underwhelming "can I help?"... I kept my thoughts of asking whether he could help me to understand how this place makes enough money to keep even the smallest drinks fridge running, very much to myself. When I said that we were there to possibly eat, he made some remark about taking ourselves around to the, seemingly empty, eating area. My dad, needing to use the toilet, wasn't too pleased to find a coded lock on there. I'm not sure what Roughton New Inn is hiding behind that door, but by the smells of it, it could be likened to the bathroom scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. My dad and I were not prepared to take on a troll, or make ourselves too comfortable here, so we made a swift exit!

Amazing location. Great shower, the rooms are spacious bed is super comfy!

We popped into Rum Kitchen for a cocktail and it was fab. It was by chance- we were staying in a nearby apartment and had time to kill before we checked in but we ended up having a really nice time there. We had some nibbles which were really tasty and a load of cocktails from the happy hour menu which were great value and delicious. Well worth a visit!

Terrible service over 30 minute wait for a pancake! Also they do not do children portions. Don’t recommend

My order never arrived and got some shocking response from a mobile call after I’d rung the restaurant numerous times and no answer for this lady to tell me ‘listen the shop closes at 9 and I sent it out with a delivery driver’ 2 hours ago! Joke

Hotel is fine. Food is average and overpriced.

We were pleasantly surprised that our meals were excellent. Wife had the ribs (chips were great)Grandson the steak, which was very good and I had 3 tapas.. so pleased with my choice. Service was first class..well done Clippers

I had a disappointing experience at this Marks & Spencer location. While I was at the checkout, I quickly asked a staff member (who I later found out was the manager) where I could find corn cakes. Without even checking or offering to help, she simply said, “We don’t sell that here.” I trusted her answer and continued with my purchase. To my surprise, just minutes later, my friend found the corn cakes in the store. I went back, frustrated, only to be told again that the person I asked was the manager. If that’s the level of service a manager provides — not knowing their own stock and not even trying to assist — perhaps the position should be reconsidered. Customer service should be helpful and informed, not dismissive. Very disappointing. Friday 11/4 at 6:16pm

We found this restaurant in the Gatwick airport and decided to give it a try for lunch. They have a wide variety of food options and they serve breakfast all day! Despite the restaurant looking full, we didn’t have to wait for a table or to have our orders taken. Food arrived shortly after and was delicious. Our server was Emma, very friendly and efficient. When traveling through the Gatwick airport in the future, we will definitely be coming back!

Popped in after a lovely walk for a quick spot of lunch, and wasn't disappointed. Great eats, lovely staff. Will be back for sure.
