Order 3 foods, staff miseed one order ( kids order), had to remind 2 times and wait 15 min.. not very pleasant to wait for kids order that long when adult order on table already…

Business meeting over lunch, so this place was suggested, actually very nice and discreet, pretty empty even though it was after 1pm. So no chance of being overheard. Good menu with healthy options and decent drinks selection. Service was good, I'm not sure what it would be like if the place was full though. Successful meeting and overall an enjoyable time. I'd use it again and in fact will be in a few days time.

Please choose somewhere else if you can. “Bruschetta” is 3 pieces of toast - one with canned mushrooms on top, one with tomatoes on top, one with cheese on top (can’t tell you what kind - it had no flavor at all). Also had the Mediterranean appetizer. Vegetables were old and flimsy. Canned olives. Pasta noodles were dry. I cannot even begin to give all the details. If you are in the hotel and are really hungry, there is a little convenience store about a 5 minute walk away. Fresher food.

Food is nice. Service is good. Just the place has not really a nice atmosphere. I only ate here as I was staying in the hotel and was not in the mood to go out for food

Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. However, the food is average at best with the typical pizza & pasta, fish and chips, hot dog or sandwiches. The taste is good, but the price is too high.

Food was quite okay. Rather average. Service was so well. Now not bad but not really present either. Price a bit too high for the performance.

Only went here to see a friend for drinks who was staying in the hotel. It was pretty slow service and it's clear the staff member knew what they were doing, but the boss in a suit jacket had no clue and was clearly trying to 'be the boss'. A great boss gets out of the way of great employees and doesn't try and micromanage. The lady was great.

A nice and cosy establishment with a good menu and tasty food.

Zeer lekker. Ook diverse mogelijkheden voor vegetariërs en veganisten. Ik heb verscheidene gerechten uitgeprobeerd. Alleen de combinatie van gerookte zalm en zure ansjovisfilets vond ik niet zo lekker. Maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijke smaak. Prijzen OK voor Londen. Vriendelijke bediening.

Familia con dos adultos y dos niños. Dos de la fiesta pidieron pizza que estaba muy poco hecha y no era buena. Uno de los miembros de la fiesta ordenó que estaba bien, ni más ni menos, las papas fritas no estaban bien. El último en la fiesta ordenó una hamburguesa que estaba muy seca: las papas fritas no servían. En general, fue una mala experiencia, ni volveremos allí.

At the manorial service for the Commonwealth minitary.Well organized and the police service need to be commended for all thier help.They went out of thier way for us to get through the crowd.

Fatigués après une bonne journée de marche, n'ayant pas de possibilité de manger près de l'hôtel (pas de restaurants à proximité), nous nous sommes rabattus sur celui du Novotel Waterloo où nous logions, sans se faire trop d'illusions, et nous avons été très agréablement surpris. 2 formules buffet à volonté (22£) avec un choix honnête de plats (ce soir-là, boeuf sauté, lasagnes végétariennes...), de bons desserts; Carbonara et Fish and chips pour les enfants, qui étaient vraiment très bons. Ne pas hésiter à s'y caler un soir, franchement, une table très acceptable.

Buffet , poco variado y sin la reposición adecuada.Personal poco profesional, les falta oficio y empatía, deberían hablar más idiomas. Servicio a la carta muy lento, tardan de 30 a 45 minutos en servirte,, y faltan platos, la calidad es dispar según el plato elegido.

This restaurant is located in the Novotel, Waterloo, London. It is excellent with a very good menu and super food preparation. the wine and beer llist is great. The manager is very nice and personable and we had several long discussions with him. He is a great asset to the hotel . He is from Romania and shared many experiences with us. Food prices were reasonable and the food was prepared just to our liking. If you stay at the hotel it would be a shame not to eat at this restaurant and it is worth travelling to to sample the excellent food.

Sometimes it's nice to just eat in the hotel. The staff were very friendly. I ate here twice; the first time I had penne pasta, the second time I had the chicken breast. I had to wait quite a while for the chicken but when it arrived it was really good. The main meals are quite expensive though, and a 10% service charge is added. Overall a good experience.

Poor service and a disaster for a hamburger

La cuisine est bonne mais le menu est limité, Burger, Pizza croque monsieur...Bref de la bonne calorie. Nous avons dîner à deux reprises dans ce restaurant, et ce qui nous a surtout marqué est l'attente interminable, une heure pour attendre et manger un croque-monsieur. Suis je un cas isolé, je l'ignore....

Wanted to try out the cuisine of the restaurant where my guests will have dinner next August The food is fine, nothing extraordinary but did enjoy the British Chicken pie! Not sure it was made on the spot? The waiters seemed a bit confused but again it’s not a star Michelin restaurant so overall for a dinner on site to save time before catching your plane the next day it’s fine

Average food, very pricey, limited menu. Nice staff.

Average pub like food which fills a hole when needed, typical of most hotel restaurants. Feels a little impersonal as decor is stark and very 'brown' and steel. Good service.

Das Essen war lecker und frisch. Leider ist die Karte sehr klein und bietet nicht viel Auswahl. Der Service war ein wenig langsam.

Food brought out at different times, so two were done with their entrees before other two received their own.

Para el estilo español creo que son muy lentos. Tardan mucho entre plato y plato. Por otra parte la atención del personal es muy buena y amable, al igual que las instalaciones que son buenas. La comida estaba bien. Tiene menú para niños a muy buen precio.

Service is very ordinary in this restaurant. Staff seem like they don’t want to be there with a lack of friendliness. Food was extremely salty and when I gave feedback to the staff, she didn’t bother doing anything about it. Definitely won’t go back here again.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Food OK. I had fish and chips, perhaps I should of asked what fish it was before I ordered as I could not tell when it arrived! Not very busy with not a lot of atmosphere.

Well it was a Tuesday evening early so I suppose the empty restaurante was to be expected but it didn't add to any atmosphere. We used our Gourmet Card and maybe that was why my £22 serloin steak was less than half an inch thick. That made it rather chewy although I asked for medium rare. It came rather alone on the plate with just a mushroom and some baby tomatoes. It could have done with just a handful of salad with a nice dressing and for that price I would have expected something a lot better. The service was not good and although I had to ask for our plates to be removed after our meal nothing happened so I had to go to the bar and tell them quite sternly that our empty plates had been in front of us for 20 minutes! The food is not inspiring for the prices. I won't be going back.

Although it took a little long to come, I had an absolutely delicious Wild Boar burger which I can't wait to have again. Staff were quite friendly.

I went there few days ago and the service was good as the staff. Staff were very pleasant and friendly and this would be somewhere to return to for lunch, if we were passing this way again.

Very good and complete sandwiches, omelettes and burgers including some vegan options. All very good, tasty and well prepared. And all without moving from the Accord Waterloo hotel ! Wonderful !

Great fine dining atmosphere but still family friendly. Good prices. Great food.

La carte du restaurant est plutôt classique.Les prix sont correct, surtout le menu enfant (jusque 12 ans) à moins de 5£ avec entrée, plat et dessert.

Das Elements liegt in der Londoner Innenstadt am östlichen Ufer der Themse in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Lambeth Bridge im Novotel London Waterloo.

As a vegetarian I may not be the best person to rate this restaurant. When I visited they had a good value buffet (3 courses; all you can eat) with a range of hot and cold dishes and puds. But only one veggie hot option on the buffet (quiche…). The restaurant also does pizzas and the hotel bar does burgers. The veggie choice on the a la carte menu was very small. Food was ok but first time I have had broad beans in a Thai curry – maybe that’s what they meant when they said it was green !). Very good and attentive staff. Good range of wines and mocktails. As this was a hotel there were q uite a few families with kids and they seemed to enjoy it. Background music was unobtrusive and soft. Lighting wasn’t great if, like me, when travelling alone you wish to read. I moved tables to try to sort it but it didn't really help much.

I ate here with my family when we were staying in the Novotel hotel. We had a tastecard which gave us 50% off our bill, which made our meal very reasonable indeed. Otherwise I would say that it might be considered a bit pricey for the quality of the food. My children had the kids' menu which was good value but my king prawn ramen was not great. The noodles were overcooked and the prawns were not king prawns. My husband had the house burger which he enjoyed. The service was very good and the staff were friendly. I would probably eat there again if staying in the hotel and make a better choice in my selection of a main course. One quirky point of note is that they have tables for one with a personal TV and headphones so business guests can enjoy a TV dinner!

All hotel restaurants offer limited menus at high prices. At least at Elements they make an attempt at making the food and its presentation half decent. My main course was fine and the cheese plate was good, a nice selection of cheeses. If you don't want to venture out of the hotel the restaurant is OK.

Handy in Novotel. Had dinner here as well as buffet breakfast. Fish and chips for dinner. Bar service was pretty slow considering how quiet it was

Our kids were "done" with the whole fish and chips thing, they wanted breaded chicken strips. It wasn't on the menu, but the chef made it whenever we needed them. He or she was great.

Wenn man aber ein Essen zu zweit genießen möchte gibt es bestimmt bessere Lokale, vor allem romantischer und ruhiger.Das Essen ist lecker und üppig. Einfache Speisen, klassisch angerichtet. We came here for afternoon tea. The venue is rally bland with minimum thought to design or atmosphere and the sandwiches were decidedly average - with small portion sizes. However, that said, the cakes were very good (particularly the light fluffy carrot cake), and the staff were really helpful.

I loved everything and i tried all the menus. It is very convenient when you don't want to go back outside (because it is cold and you want to go to bed to be ready for visiting London) and delicious. You don't wait and it's not expensive.

Restaurante no hotel novotel. Não há nada de especial no lugar, apenas um restaurante de hotel, e que cobra caro para o que oferece. Recomendo ir para alguma outra opção próxima do hotel, são várias.

Staying nearby we ate dinner in this quite atmospheric part of the Novotel, food and service were great, we were enjoying the ambience and environment but this was then suddenly destroyed by the sound on a nearby huge tv showing football turned up so high we couldn't hear ourselves, on asking the waitress to turn it down, one person was watching it, she said it's what people want!! Maybe but not the night in question and we paid and left!

This is a good restaurant (probably 3.5 stars) that is a bit pricey but, for a hotel, reasonable. I had breakfast there every day and it was good, and two dinners (since this is the best restaurant in the area of the hotel) and they were tasty and food well prepared

Used the restaurant as we were staying in the hotel and found that most restaurants in central London where not wheelchair accessible. Staff in the restaurant couldn't do enough for you, especially Sherman, he kept us in chat until our meal came! The burgers are amazing, as are the pizza and steak flatbread. If you're looking for fine dining this won't be for you, but then again if you can afford that you should maybe stay in the savoy. If you want god honest food at a reasonable price then Elements is perfect for you.

Food was reasonable and well cooked. Menu had variety and English based. Some cheap options for the family. Wine selection not so impressive. Somewhat busy with families and tables a little close together in room which doubles as breakfast room. Good for one evening, but not for regular evening meal.

Visited the restaurant whilst staying one night at the hotel. We ordered an adult pizza, child pizza, adult burger and child burger. A very simple order really! At 8pm, 2 identical large pizzas were brought to the table. I queried if one was a child pizza but the waitress just went away. She came back a few minutes later with further food that we hadn't ordered. She looked confused then went off again. She came back a couple of minutes later and took my wife's pizza away, with no explanation or apology! My wife hadn't started her pizza but my son had already started on the pizza he was supplied with. A few more minutes later, the burgers arrived. With them was a kids pizza for my son,but nothing for my wife. They had originally brought out the wrong food and given my son and my wife the pizzas from another table. Then they took one away, leaving my son with the adult pizza. They seemed to want to give the kids pizza to my wife! We had to ask for another pizza for my wife.It took until 8.20 before my wife had her food. They had messed up the orders so our food was brought to the table bit by bit. By the time she had her food, we had finished! Service was very slow. Every time we wanted something, drinks, dessert, etc it was a struggle to find someone to ask and then a lengthy wait to actually get it. It took 30 minutes for them to bring out the desserts.The burgers were fine, but the pizzas were very hard. In the end, my wife only ate a little of hers. The kids desserts looked and tasted better than the adults. The restaurant looks lovely, but we were extremely disappointed by the meal and certainly wouldn't eat there again. When complaining to the manager she just shrugged her shoulders said sorry and said that there wasn't much more she could say. We did get one pizza taken off the bill.

Nous y avons dîné 2 fois à la carte et avons beaucoup apprécié. Viandes et poissons sont excellents, les desserts également, le vin ne nous a pas déçu. Nettement supérieur à la moyenne des restaurants Novotel. A noter aussi la gentillesse et serviabilité des serveurs. A noter certains soirs la possibilité de choisir un buffet mais sans grand intérêt rapport qualité-prix.

Food average. My home cooking better! I've produced better bolognaise sauce at home with a jar. Porridge however was lovely.

Rien de très impressionnant sur la carte, personnel très accueillant, le Saint Emillion de la carte est très correct

Yicherkeine haute cuisine aber wenn man müde vom anstregenden Tag ist und no h s hndll was essen will, ist es OK.Ambiente ist eben Hotelbar, aber sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen ist eher mittelmässig und ich musste lange warten. Das aber viel der Bedienung auf, die sich proaktiv entschuldigte.Also: Für den schnellen Hunger geeignet, aber sicher kein insidertipp.

Logeant au Novotel Waterloo, nous avons eu l'occasion d'y dîner en famille. La nourriture y est délicieuse, la carte très variée et le personnel très attentif à vous satisfaire.

La comida es correcta, comimos una hamburguesa, en la parte de carta, no en el self-service. Aunque era tarde, prácticamente fuera del horario nos atendieron sin problemas y muy amablemente. Tiene la ventaja de que disponen de un espacio en el que los niños se pueden entretener con juegos y video juegos. Como inconveniente: el mobiliario es incómodo.

Booked at table at Elements Restaurant Novotel Waterloo for Saturday 2nd June as we had both sets of parents down from Birmingham and Sheffield for the Jubilee weekend, booked the table at least 7/8 weeks in advance, they accepted the booking and I advised them I would be using TasteCard, I called the restaurant 4 hours before the booking time to double check the time of the booking and all seemed fine.We arrived at the hotel and as we were being seated the girl told us about the special buffet menu they had that evening, so we asked if this was covered by TasteCard to be told "Im not sure were accepting TasteCard this evening, I will have to check". We were seated, given menus and left for aprox 10 mins to choose, then I saw the girl who had seated us talking to a gentleman at the other side of the room and looking over towards us, he then approached the table to inform us that " because it was a busy evening they were not accepting TasteCard" , I looked around the restaurant to see 2 other people in the corner and 5 people in the bar, he then went on to explain that it wasn't his decision as the previous manager had left him instructions, even though he was the duty manager at that time.It was all very embarrassing in front of the parents as I thought I had sorted everything weeks ago.After explaining I had made this booking 7/8 weeks ago and checking earlier in the day we ended up walking out and going to a very nice Italian just the other side of Lambeth Bridge. Seems to me its another chain trying to make a quick buck out of the Jubilee celebrations at the expense of customer care, I have emailed Novotel 3 days ago and as of yet have heard nothing back.
