As someone with disabilities and several food allergies, it’s often difficult to feel at ease when eating out. But Adam at this M&S Cafe really took the time to make sure I was looked after. I asked about oat milk, and Adam made sure my allergen concerns were properly noted. When I was unsure if the Spanish tortilla had cheese, he didn’t just give a quick answer like other establishments do, he took the time to check the ingredients on his handheld device, which made me feel like my health and comfort really mattered to him. It’s not always easy to feel accommodated in these situations, but this M&S's attention to detail and care made a big difference for me. Thx Adam..

Went to buy a pair of shoes and required assistance. Not a member of staff in sight. Eventually found someone right across the other side of the store on the till who was busy. Gave up and left. Prefer to take my business elsewhere. Appalling customer service. What happened to your standards M&S??

In my initial experience dining at M&S Coffee, I found the brunch to be of average quality. I ordered the eggs Benedict and avocado on toast. The eggs Benedict had a noticeable sourness, the ham lacked flavor, and the accompanying green salad was devoid of taste. The avocado on toast consisted of large avocado pieces haphazardly spread on toast without any seasoning, sauce, or additional toppings. Overall, the brunch items were unremarkable, with the carrot cake being satisfactory but not exceptional.

I had the pleasure of visiting M&S Watford's Hearing Care Team to review the hearing aid that was provided to my Mum via another M&S branch. Mum was travelling overseas and the Watford team had availability to discuss my mums recent acquisition before her travel. Our luck was in, we were greeted and managed by Paul McNamara. A hearing device is a very sensitive subject and typically those in need of one are in denial, suffering dented pride and a little embarrassed by the whole experience. Paul is an absolute gem!. He reviewed my Mums hearing device, showed us everything about best practice, how to use and pair as well as next steps over the next few months. My Mum left confident, respected and overwhelmed by the experience. If there was a blueprint to how customers requiring this service should be treated, Paul McNamara holds the patient. God bless those who come to work to make a change, Paul exemplifies that and the world is a better richer place for great professional souls like him.

M&S food is very nice but the food section here is usually very busy. The staff I'm the clothes section couldn't be more helpful, once had a lovely man spend almost an hour with my son finding him a dinner suit and all accessories, fantastic service 👍

On a day when there is a visitor from head office the entire store and surrounding shops evacuated, staff and customers put out in the rain. Lost revenue and wasted time. All because of some burnt cinnamon swirls. And the manager is running around like a major incident has been declared. This isn't any fire alarm. This is an M&S fire alarm.

me and my dad had gone last minute suit shopping for prom and i had picked up a different pair of trousers waistcoat and suit top and thought it was all the same, the worker there called angelina had helped me for over half an hour to look and decide what would look best on me while also being a great person, she taught me how to shop for suits and she found me the correct clothing for everything i needed for my prom. overall i am grateful for angelina’s help and she is the reason this review is 5 stars

Won’t be going in this store again at Watford Branch High street. Many Customer service Staff members are very rude.

Clean and bright store with good products. Food section is organised well and have a vast array of food, treats and drinks. I brought a pre made cake for a birthday present and it looked beautiful and tasted even better. Highly recommend

I visited the Watford store earlier today and was served at the till by a woman who was quite rude; she commented on a food item I was purchasing and when I replied to her that it was a good product she looked at me as though she was assessing whether or not she thought I was overweight! Staff can be friendly and professional at the store, however there is definitely improvement on the level of customer service that can be made. To give another example, I once made my way to the purchasing desk to buy a wooden chopping board and found myself having to wait for the tattooed man serving on the desk to clear things up while completely ignoring me after he had seen me approach and wait at the desk. I was the only person at the desk. I once made an instore appointment online and upon arrival was spoken to abruptly by a girl working in the department when I told her I had booked the appointment. She left me waiting and my appointment started late. I was eventually assisted by a lady who by chance saw me waiting and volunteered to take the appointment and I ended up making at least one successful purchase. Staff at the self-service checkout area have unfortunately in the past acted antagonistically. Finally, I once made the mistake of making a bit of conversation with the woman at the desk I was making a purchase at. She cut me off and made it clear she wanted me to leave as soon as the financial transaction was complete. Given Marks and Spencer's reputation for high standards they're letting themselves down by failing to maintain the level of customer service expected. I'll be looking out for better in future.

High class quality products but expensive

Time was that a trip to Watford to stroll around the shops and then go to M&S for a sit down with a nice cup of coffee and a light lunch or cake was a pleasure but thos days are now long gone. This really will be the last time I go the M&S cafe. I have previoulsy been disappointed but yesterday seemd even worse. No longer can you go to a counter for service as you enter there is a rack of various wraps and sandwhiches and crisps and slef service cakes. £6.00 for a single round of snadwhiches - really! Then you take your selection to the counter and wait to be served. A lady came and just stood in front of me and waited for me to speak. I asked what size the various cups were and she just turned and pointed to a pile of cups. I then ordered our drinks. We moved along to the till and our order was added up. Over £18.00 for two coffees and and 2 rounds of sanwhiches - OK, mabe things will get better! Our lady moved away and we had to ask how/where we got our drinks. She said 'over there'. Then we had to ask for a tray. Our drinks appeared and were placed on the tray - I asked for saucers - 'we don't have saucers' I was told. I asked for spoon and was given a wooden stick and I asked for serviettes which she had to go and fetch. Then we fond a table among the various prams and buggies around. We had a small square table which had not been wiped, the seats were thin, flat and wooden and very uncomfortbale. We were squashed in between two other tables too. Altogher a horrible expereince so never again.

I was looking for crisps for my daughter, I couldn’t find it I asked couple of staff they said out of stock I spoke to one girl with black long curly hair, she was very helpful and amazing through her attitude, she went to check the delivery and finally she came back with the crisps that I have been looking for, really very helpful it’s been long time I haven’t seen that kind of customer service going above and beyond to meet the needs of M&S customers and certainly would like to come back to her again.

I got this really nice Autograph jumper; it's super soft and the quality is top-notch. But what made my day even better was Jayani at the women's wear till – she's so friendly and helpful. It's not just about great clothes; it's the awesome people like Jayani that make the whole shopping experience fantastic!

I got a few pairs of Seasalt and some knitwear and the lady on the till in women's wear was delightful! I believe her name was miriam but after having a long day at work, she made it much better. Also love Seasalt aswell!

Expensive but wide variety of goods to offer

Body positive arrived to atria shoping center discriminating small size woman's, majority of woman's are small size and shops minimun size available is 10.

Had a bra fitting today with Di she was absolutely lovely & very knowledgeable, found me the perfect size bra, would definitely recommend going to see her to get professionally fitted.

I went in with my daughter to find her some bras as we could never find the right size but thankfully an amazing lady called Zeinab helped us so much. We are so grateful and even though she was very busy she came to check up on us and made sure that it fit right and gave suggestions on how to wear it properly. Thank you so much Zeinab you’re a star. The company needs to recognise such an amazing worker like you.

Marks and Spencer’s cafe in Watford- we popped in for a late lunch. The food was fine but the lady who served us didn’t say a word, no basic manners not even hello/good afternoon, thank you, nothing at all. I found the experience unpleasant, in fact we were waiting for our tea and coffee and another customer was also waiting. The member of staff put the drinks down on the side but didn’t even say who’s drinks they were so it was left for customers to guess, bearing in mind we weren’t the only ones who had ordered a tea and a coffee. Very disappointing, zero manners and zero customer service. It’s not acceptable and there’s plenty of other places in Watford to grab a coffee, cake and bite to eat, we will try somewhere else next time.

Service is appalling - slow and somehow headless. Water is not getting refilled, no clean knives M&S seems to employ sufficient people but who obviously cannot cope with customers

Terrible service, had to wait 30mins for kids toastie to be warmed up while staff chatted away with visiting friends. It wasn’t that busy at 2:15pm. When asked one of the staff she said its coming with a rude attitude. The bin next to the tissues stunk too. Managers please look into this department.

I usually like m&s but the staff there is rude and arrogant with their own clients... treating us like kids, making us wait loads when it's not needed. The problem probably comes from their store management. pretty shocking tbh

COLD POACHED EGGS My Eggs Royale was cold. Very disappointing. The sauce was not freshly made, it was also cold and the salad was exactly like salad out of a packet. Very poor quality all round. I lost interest in this meal after the first bite. The only reason I finished it was because I was hungry. I would have been better off with a sandwich from Greggs.

Everything is high quality and reasonably priced. Laid out very well. Dedicated team members.

I have very bad experience today with the manager, Ali was very rude, arrogant, not professional at all. I will never shop from Mark and Spencer, Watford. Went for a bra fitting and the lady told me I had put on weight and didn’t even know me. She measured me and told me I was two sizes bigger than what I was. Kept telling the lady that the bras she was bringing me were too big but didn’t believe me and said they were great. I could get my hold hand in the cup too.

Arrived around 15:30, many empty shelves, good for M&S, not so good for customers.

A woman M&S employee on the food self service checkout with dark hair and a London accent refused to help me with a minor problem at a self service machine . Absolutely disgusting customer service I expected better from a M&S employee, I won't be using the food self service checkout any more.

Got what I wanted and exchanged some shirts that were the wrong size

Not at all a fan of the clothing from this store. Not my type at all. Outside my age range to be honest. However I totally love the food. Great quality and great prices. Some surprisingly cheaper than even the “cheaper” supermarkets. The meal deal is really good value and the range of pasta and sandwiches was really good. Something for vegetarian and non veg diets. They have some really delicious cookies and biscuits that I enjoy and always purchase. I went to this store especially looking for the pink Percy pig bags which I found for £1. The self checkouts are really easy to use and as assistant is on hand to help out should you need it. The manned tills are always busy and they only have 2-3 tills if that open. Can be impossible to find a member of staff to help.

Always great produce and well stocked

Like all shops, there's good and there's not so good. For people who aren't down and out it's worth checking out. We've found that the corn on the cob is fantastic (Tesco's pretty good too) whereas Sainsbury's and Asda's cobs are almost tasteless, Tesco's is better but M&S's is the best. Their netted avocado's are very good value (6 avos for £2). Their salted softer butter is excellent. They now have more organic produce which is a good sign. Now to their Cafe which we visited on the 9th of Aug, 2022. Its out of the way and no signage so you won't find it if you don't know of its existence (seems like an after thought), the staff are mostly polite. They are so noisy with the saucers placed on the counter top. The crockery is just chucked here and there and the barista when she empties the coffee grinds the knock against bar isn't rubber, whatever it is it's a racket and it's continuous. So sit well away from the barista 😊 We were very surprised that they provide full cream milk. That being said however, the coffee, a latte was abysmal. Not at all a smooth blend. It was so bitter that I'm getting the impression that Costa and M&S as well as others are buying in cheaper coffee to maximise profits. Seriously folks, it was horrible, and I'm a coffee aficionado, I even left some in the cup. Their phone in customer service department is terrible too. I tried to give feedback on their new bars which in my opinion are too sweet, but the first person answering had such bad English (she was from Asia) that when I politely told her that I couldn't understand her she cut me off. The next lady answering said she would arrange for someone to call me back but that didn't happen. Anyway, not impressed!!! Also, there is virtually no organic (now changing), so we don't do our main shop here, sorry M&S 😊

Marks & Spencer is a clothing and food chain that I like. You can always find a flattering garment of high quality, at a reasonable price. The cuts of the clothes also suit me. Their food hall is packed with delicious and tempting food. The bakery is successful, with many types of bread, cookies and pastries. I saw that they opened a cafe inside the store, so you can rest while shopping

Really pleased with the food i brought in this store the other day. The strawberries for 2 pound a punnet were outstanding delicious with some not just ordinary cream but m and s cream!!! Yum! Be back for more before wimbledon!!

Really poor to charge 10p for a flower bag when purchasing 3 bunches of tulips already wrapped in plastic. Come on how about keeping up with the times and supplying paper ones. Very lazy of m&s

Very disappointing. No breakfast menu on offer on a Sunday and few hot gluten free options. Only option was a baked potato at 11.45am. Cold and lacking in atmosphere. Only reason I stayed was because I was low on energy and needed to eat. Look elsewhere there's lots more choice in this shopping centre!

This is a convenient place to have a coffee and a snack. The queue wasn't too bad and the iced bun and coffee were what I needed.

Genuinely received the best service from Ben in the suit section. Was in a rush to buy my dad a suit for tomorrow and he was amazing, kind as well as extremely helpful. Would definitely come back! Definitely deserves a pay rise because that type of service has become obsolete sadly!

The cafe itself was uninspiring. Looked like it was an afterthought squeezed in to the shop. The service was bad with no " hello, how can I help you" when I was at the counter. It was very clean though. And the drinks were nice.

I visited M&S cafe today we were in a rush to feed our baby so needed hot water, the member of stafff Mariah who served us was absolutely amazing tge cate and politeness she gave us was fantastic we just want to say to M&S thank you especially Mariah who works in the cafe...we shall be returning

Painfully slow service, advised 10 minutes wait for food which was actually 45 minutes. Everyone complained but to no avail. Will avoid in future.

M&S management have let standards drop, by NOT using cups and saucers, but now using disposable beakers for hot drinks. I thought staff had misheard, I said I was not take away but staying in the cafe, the staff member said that there was only 2 working at the cafe now (staff cuts ) and no one to collect the cups and saucers up. I wasn't the only one to ask while I was there. Shame M&S have let standards drop.

Gluten free scones are good, coffee is excellent.

Good place to stop for coffee and cake or a toastie/jacket potato/soup for lunch. Fairly long queues to be served so best to get there early.

The coffee was horrible, and the decaf was from a "bag" not fresh grounds.

Looking to buy suits?? Mr.Pat who works in Suits area.... He is a pro hero. If you are planning to buy a decent and quality suite go to the section and speak with Pat. He is just amazing. Because of his patience, professional touch with customers you will got there again. Just amazing and this store is highly recommend and don't forget his name is Pat.

M&S cafes not getting any better at all. The service is so so so slow at the till. and no one cleaning tables. The food when you get it is ok but by the time you get it you would eat anything to be fair. Please can you sort out your cafes M&S?!

I was in the lingerie department today and had occasion to ask for a bit of help . Normally in most shops everyone is too busy but not Cheryl. Even though she was busy she found the time to help. She was very patient and courteous. Well done Marks and Spencer ,but super thanks to Cheryl.

Always a wonderful experience shopping for food and clothing at Mark's and Spencer. I particularly love the new season wide leg ladies office trousers with elastic waist and no zips. Comes in a variety of three shades. Well done. Best trousers I've worn in years.

Extremely impressed with the staff in the store. They went out of their way to see if they could source some bath bombs for my two little girls who eagerly waited in anticipation. There was a happy ending and I’ve got to say it was a breath of fresh air compared to other local shops and businesses that have just used Covid as an excuse to be bone idle

I picked up an item in the sale area from the exit side of the sale area and was shouted at , literally shouted at by the what I now know to be the Women's clothes manager. He was extremely rude in his manner and the way he spoke to me - he urgently needs customer service training asap, unfortunately, the store manager was not in this day and I spoke to another manager of the store and related to her my experience with this manager. I have not been back to the store since this happened as I felt I had been rather verbally abused by his manner to me.

El personal es muy amable, al menos conmigo siempre han sido todos muy agradables. Hay una tarjeta que se llama spark con la que se van acumulando puntos. Hay servicios en la última planta y suelen estar muy limpios.

So so so much potential that it can take on big coffee provider brands, however, the store manager decided to put this place in between 4 walls... whereas it can be located at a place where everyone can see the actual cafe and increase its brand popularity among the young too! Such a shame!

Its recently been decorated but this cafe is still a very depressing place - it was like being in being in a hospital canteen only not as busy - just awful and definitely not ever going back.

Went to m & s today a little disappointed wanted a gift for a friend new baby but not much choice ,also pj's not much choice in the colours wanted navy blue nothing there .

I love marks and Spencer's their food is absolutely to die for especially cook in bag chicken definitely worth the money better than any of these organic which can be more than £12.£6 is worth.and finest coleslaw
