It's an experience from the moment you walk through the door. It has everything and everything is pretty good. A little expensive, but nothing more

The restaurant was very beautiful, the staff were polite and friendly, the atmosphere was very peaceful. The only let down was all the food was cold despite being under heated lamps ect, the ruined the experience for us but everything else was great.

Always nice to go to JRC different cuisines

if i could give zero i would. you expect good quality for 28 a head but there was only a few things that were edible. my wife was nearly sick whilst tasting the beef. jack of all trades, master of none. dont go here. go get yourselves a nice homecooked meal somewhere. if i could give it zero i would.

13 March 2025- JRC Global Watford I want to express my sincere gratitude to the amazing staff at JRC Global in Watford for their outstanding support in helping me locate my missing scarf. This scarf holds great personal value for me, and I truly appreciate the team’s quick and proactive response. The staff immediately took action by reviewing the CCTV footage and identified that the scarf was taken by a customer seated next to me. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were truly commendable. They have also kindly assured me that they will give me a call if the customer returns the scarf to JRC. A nice atmosphere with plenty of options for different types of food. Little pricey at £25 for the food + drinks but it is London so to be expected but all round nice experiences and will be visiting again.

Had an amazing time on Saturday we celebrated my husband 50th birthday at the large room,the food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was excellent. It was the ideal place for our party—everyone had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!"

The food here is overhyped cafeteria type food you would find in school, except the food has been left out for ages and there is a horrible smell within the restaurant. Not recommended.

Cosy and comfortable seating for customers. Enjoyed the food well. Parking is a bit far from the venue.

The place itself is aesthetically pleasing but I don't think the price is justified for the food, really there isn't all that much choice majority was Asian food. £100 for my partner,me and 2 kids i felt was a bit much considering those factors. Gave it a go as we've wanted to for ages but wont be returning

Not been for a while, but the food was disappointingly tepid/cold and the duck and chicken had broken bones which were awkward to remove and a choking hazard for children

I came here to eat yesterday ( Saturday 22nd ) with my children as a treat & it was not a great experience! It was like a relay race trying to get food on a plate in the 1hr 45mins dining time we given. For £28 per head it wasn't exactly cheap either. My belly hasn't been great after a few hours of eating here either, so basically paid to feel sick all night & the next day. Too many people crammed into the establishment & it felt like we were constantly being watched/ rushed to get up & leave. I dread to think how many people didn't use the handsanitiser that was at the food stations, breading ground for a mass sickness & diarrhea breakout. They shouldn't have let so many people in, end of. Totally spoilt our experience,( we'd actually booked our table...) but there were continous walk-ins being let in aswell. Food was being put on top of old food which had been sat there for a while. This was a place we won't be booking again in a hurry!

If you would like the experience of eating in a 3rd world country this is the place for you, everyone packed in tight, meat is awful cheap off cuts, no actual vegetarian dishes due to cross contamination,.. just awful, all for £28 a head .. bargain NOT !!

The food is sub par and prices are high for what they’re serving - do not visit if you’re into good food & flavour. A group of 12 of us went and not one person finished their plate or enjoyed any part of the meal. Hygiene was also very poor. A group of children were putting their fingers in the chocolate fountain, licking them and redoing it… we reported this and the staff told them to stop but didn’t change the chocolate! So people continued to use it. This meant the children in our group weren’t allowed to try it which they were gutted about. Later another child pulled up his chair in front of it so he could just pick items off the buffet and dip them directly in the fountain. Staff did nothing until we confronted them again! Just grim. Spilt food not cleaned from the floor either. Really disappointing all round, should have said something but as you pay on arrival I can’t imagine they’d be forthcoming with refunds so we just left, disappointed and would never return.

I dined in last Sunday, February 16, 2025. Unfortunately, there wasn't much variety in the food, and the staff on duty that day were not friendly at all. As we were eating, they started to clean the tables and sprayed cleaning products next to our table. They also brought bin bags into the dining area while we were still eating. Their behavior was not polite or accommodating. It was around 9 PM, and I don't think it's appropriate to clean while guests are still dining. The staff definitely needs more training in customer service.

Latest review- was here on 15/02/25. I come here once a month. Very few red meat dishes in fact, only lamb rogan Josh and burger patties on the Mediterranean side and that’s a Saturday too. Much pork and chicken only. I think I’m not going there anymore. I don’t mind if the price has gone up but if the menu hasn’t changed. 2020. The most value for money buffet in the UK because there are so many cuisines under one roof. You are so spoilt for choice.Been here numerous times and today's spread is fresh particularly the roasted duck. Definitely recommend.

This is our second visit here. This time we purposely stayed in Watford on our return from London as we liked this venue on our previous visit. This time we were ushered in by a staff member who walked so fast we lost sight of him and I had trouble getting breath. The standard of food has dropped considerably. The lamb rogan josh was just a plate of bones and the duck was minced rather than shredded. All in all this was a very disappointing visit and based on this, we would not return.

Taste, variety and quality has gone down a lot. We are being coming to this restaurant for the past 8 years or more. Price is gone up.

A reasonable buffet with a large selection from across the world, however most of the food is "beige" in nature and whilst it is "all you can eat" we were left feeling underwhelmed due to the quality of the food on offer. Nice selection of cakes and the chocolate fountain made the kids happy, but the majority of main courses on offer were not particularly enjoyable.

This has become our favourite spot for all celebrations or just eating out. I cannot over recommended. I think I should be their ambassador 😄 Happy to take on that role if it's available .

Taste soo bad and cold, the grill section you have to wait 1 hour for it and you only have 1.5 hour to leave the place. Will never go back to this place again.

Sharing a meal with family on nieces birthday. JRC enforced a controversial 1hr 30 min seating policy, but apart from this, the food, service, and restaurant atmosphere was ok.

Had a great visit to JRC Grill, reasonably priced and the offering was great. I would say you had over 100 to 150 dishes to choose from, wouldn't hesitate to recommend we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Ideal location a its on the main shopping street.

Most of the food was ok. However they don't really cater for vegans. As for the Tappanyaki WOW seafood and meat (steak) cooked on the same hotplate with the same utensils...DREADFUL. I had to explain to the cook about cross contamination and he didn't have a clue what I was talking about. He had to get his senior to explain and then completely clean/wash the hotplate and utensils before cooking my seafood. That's bad and should be common knowledge for a cook to know.

This time wasn’t like our previous visit—maybe because we had an early lunchtime booking. The food was cold, almost as if it had been prepared the night before.

Amazing array of fresh dishes from different cuisines. I was impressed by the sushi, steamed dim sum and the live teppanyaki station. The star of the show was surprisingly the Victoria sponge cake with its perfectly soft sponge and luxurious cream. This is definitely a buffet for meat eaters but there are good vegetarian options available like pizza, Indian curries, noodles, fresh naan, pasta and more. Soft drinks are also good value at £4 for unlimited refills which include Chinese tea. *PR invite*

Great restaurant with wide variety

All in all tasty food. No rushing. Would visit again. Took the staff for Christmas they were all happy and full. Benighted is you know the cost and they can have anything they want.

The variety of dishes is amazing.

Had high expectations beings this is supposed to be the biggest buffet in the UK, food was horrible worst buffet I've ever been too go to a different one if you're in watford this one is a waste of time and the staff aren't nice there wasn't one nice desert and the chocolate fountain wasn't warm chocolate it was cold chocolate milk 🤢

Great place for a meal. All you can eat buffet. If you make a reservation you get 1:45 eating time.

Quality was poor, especially the chicken in the green curry which was slimy. Lamb chops were tough, so was the lamb in rogan josh. Best things were the channa massala and steak on teppanyaki grill.

We tried a bit from the Indian section, the Chinese section and the American section and all of it was tasteless, Luke warm and the Chinese was really slimy, it was awful, just left sitting there for ages with no one checking it or stirring it etc. the only section that was really edible was the dessert section and they were mediocre. We were both very ill shortly after, we never went to get medical help so can’t say for sure but was too much of a coincidence. This place is so overpriced for the awful food it serves up, no wonder why they make you pay first. I did write an email to complain and to see if I could recover any costs but was just offered a free meal which I obviously did not want to subject myself to again. Avoid at all costs

Food is average at best There is a selection of Italian, Indian, Thai,Singapore, Japanese, Brazilian Tried most of them, not the Japanese, there was a 10 person's queue and only one chef. The Thai and Singapore was decent. Deserts are a mix of cakes and moose, tasteless 25 quid per person is a bit expensive for what they offer, here comes the fun part, the drinks are a 4 quid option per person, unlimited refill on sodas, not worth it, everything is from dispensers, so we ended up paying 8 quid for 2 glasses of dispenser sodas Tried it once, will never go back again tbh

On the website is mentioned that the children under 150cm are not charged However when we got to the restaurant they measured all kids up to 90cm And we have been charged

Food is nice, lots to choose from. Price is good too.

Overall not too bad the guy accidentally burned me with the hot oil when he was cooking steak aside from that it was very difficult to know what was halal and what was not also the fact that people could easily cross contaminate

Haven't been for a couple of years. Really disappointed definitely not as good as previous visits.

Visited with my friend on a Sunday lunchtime. They have a wide range of food from a variety of cuisines, everything seemed very fresh and was lovely. The braised pork and prawn toast were exceptional! Staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The floor staff are particularly switched on and collect dirty plates very fast. Overall our experience was very positive and I would definitely visit again.

Staff and service are great. The food is cheap and poor quality. Two or three dishes had gloopy fat in then, and I had to spit it out. Not pleasant

Very disappointed. It shows the restaurant close at 10pm…with hungry children, we drove all the way here, and the location from Google is wrong which made us having to drive in circle to find a car park. By the time we got there it’s 8:38pm and we were told that the till is shut and they can’s accept new customers. Disappointed and frustrated. Will not come again

Some love it, some hate it. And I fall on the latter end of the spectrum. Went in on Saturday, food was mostly cold - especially the deep fried starter junk. Salad bar had curled up Ham and cheese, probably sat for hours. Steak guy clearly wanted to be elsewhere and had EarPods in. Duck for the Chinese pancakes was like dust (anybody, no? Dust). Tables were wonky and damaged. On the plus side, the amount of walking required likely burned off some of the calories. Deserts were good and the fellow at the bar single handily saved the review from dropping to 1 star. Promote that guy.

My friends and I celebrated a birthday at JRC Global Buffet in Watford. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of cuisines and an inviting atmosphere. The live cooking station and delightful desserts were highlights. The staff was friendly, and the free food for birthday celebrants was a nice touch. The experience was worth the price.

We love this place, i got to try food that I would otherwise never ordered. It was clean, and the staff was very friendly.

Amazing food and a variety of options! This buffet has so much to offer and is an amazing place to eat quick bites or try diverse foods! Shout out to Ligorio and Jesus for always going the extra mile and always being the best! They helped me and my family a lot during my visit and were so helpful! Great work and 10/10 service! Will definitely come again!

My all time favourite buffet 🥰. There’s so much variety in the food. I adore the scallops and octopus teppanyaki and the chocolate fountain and the fact that you can eat free on your birthday always brings me back to it. It’s amazing 🥰🥰

Really enjoyed ourselves here but some of the meat can be quite fatty. Fish was slightly undercooked from the grill but it was very busy and he was rushed. Should have asked for abit longer. The rest ofnthe food was excellent and great value

Wouldn’t even feed my dog here, absolute load of rubbish… £32 for Iceland value food and a bland atmosphere I think not.

Food is delicious, staff were prompt to offer assistance. Let down by the children literally sprinting everywhere spilling food on the floors and drinks on people. Going to get food from the buffet was like a game of dodge the bounding child. Lack of parenting from parents evidently but I feel like the restaurant should implement rules against allowing children to run freely.

Can't really fault it. It's a decent buffet. Nothing was spectacular but nothing was awful.

We went there to celebrate a birthday. Such a huge range of food choices From salads to Chinese or cooked in front of you scallops. The chocolate mousse is so good. We where still eating at the final sitting and the waiter came past and told us when each section would be closing down for the night. The only down side is that at the end of the night we saw them throwing all the food in big bins instead of finding possible ways of feeding the homeless who are living just outside there doors.

Outside the place looks a bit run down but once you're upstairs, it's like you're in a five star hotel inside the tardis! It's most certainly bigger on the inside and beautifully decorated. Plenty tables and choice of food, tasted lovely. Welcoming and friendly staff. My only complaint was the curry, I didn't try it as it looked a bit watery. Other than that, all good 😁

The food was just about ok. But very grease. Will not return. But the Corbra beer was Buy 1 get 1 free, so that was good.

Nice food, plenty of choice, canteen style eatery. 2 hour time limit but wasn't enforced on a midweek booking.

Although there is a good turnover of replenishment some of the items were over cooked. The tepanyaki which my daughter (13yr old) tried for the first time went for scallops and steak. The scallops were under cooked and steat over cooked and over spiced with black pepper and wasn't given the option to refuse black pepper. On the whole it was an enjoyable evening out and will return at some point. But my daughter did ask if they could have cockles on the menu in future.

As you'd expect from a buffet on a weekday evening. Wasn't too busy. Food was ok though with low numbers you could tell some dishes weren't being replaced as much as others. Would visit again though.

Back to my favourite restaurant again and it didn’t disappoint. They still have an amazing choice of food, everything we had was fresh and hot. All the staff we had contact with was welcoming and friendly especially the managers that we’ve got to know over the years. The only problem at JRC is there’s so much to choose from I always have a bit of everything and leave weighing 5kg heavier than when I started. Can’t wait to go back again, thank you for a great time, see you soon.

Very much like a large food hall, in that there is a nice selection of food types and different areas to sit. All the food is well cooked and fresh, and good quality for a buffet.

It's a buffet, people complaining about quality? It's not a Michelin restaurant- if you want that , go there. For a buffet It's great. Plenty of options. If you want indian specifically , go to an Indian buffet. Etc. If you want to try a variety of different things from different places... that's a buffet. Better then most in North America. As far as buffets go, top notch.

Having been to numerous JRC buffets in the UK since their openings over a decade ago, we have always liked JRC and would go for an occasion with the family maybe once or twice a year. HOWEVER, we went there last night after not going for about two years, and can finally say JRC buffet is not the same anymore. Not sure if there are a change of owners but the food and service is no longer the same. We went there at 7:15pm (was told their last entrance is 7:30pm sharp), only to find a lot of the food is already empty and has not been refilled. We thought maybe someone will refill it considering it is only 7:20pm which is still really early. Unfortunately none of the food were replenished automatically and we even had to ask one of the staff if they had anymore salmon. The staff then took out a really small portion of diced up salmon to replenish the empty bowl. The portion was only enough for two people and that’s only if you take a few pieces each. This is not what you would expect at a buffet. The fried food is over cooked, all dried and hard so not edible. Sushi is soggy with rice stuck together so not made fresh. Prawns had no flavour at all. Avoid the siu mai (Chinese pork dumpling) at all costs as that’s just blended cheap pork fat and not even sure what meat it is. The tinyest piece of smoked salmon on a slice of baguette, where you can barely see the salmon. Desserts were ok except you have to get it quick before they close the counters by like 8:30pm, kind of ridiculous since we were only there for an hour. Lightning is dim so you can’t see what you are eating. Only after an hour in to our meal, the waiters were already cleaning the tables next to us and spraying disinfectant. Also asked if we finished our plate to rush us which clearly still had food on it and we were eating it. We were also told the kitchen was closed at 8:30 (not that we felt like there was a lot to eat anyway), which is really early for a buffet. For the price of £28 for adult, this is not the sort of food or service you would expect. Do not recommend this place as there are better buffets elsewhere. Atmospheres great and food is amazing

A mediocre place to eat, 2 years ago I would have said great but the standards have dropped dramatically which in turn shows in the utility and presentation of the food. Not as good value either as they no longer include a soft drink in the meal price Standard greed pplies here

Food was okay. Ambiente is rly dark and crowded. Service is okay at the bar but otherwhise no Service at all.

The food was stale. There was a foul smell in a part of the dining area. All round waste of money.
