Great atmosphere. The food across most counters is extremely greasy. Food here is meticulously cooked to fill you up very quickly. With a 1 hour and 30 minute limit I recommend get to the teppanyaki grill early as there is queue and could take 20-25 mins easily.

Not a single nice dish on the menu - even the chips were a disappointment. Not worth it for the amount they charge. Better of going to an actual restaurant which will have proper food and will be cheaper.

Went for a 2nd time, food was OK, great selection but quite cold and very salty. Reception staff are very moody and unhelpful, no need really to be like that? Location aswel is the end of high street and the area is not very nice, drug addicts everywhere and dodgy as.

Positive: - there is a large selection - familyfriendly Negative: - emphasis is placed on quantity and not on quality. The food was mostly dried out, the meat was either tough or had a lot of fat. - Several hundred people can eat here, so it is loud and crowded. - the atmosphere is hectic and unrelaxed - Soft drinks come from the pump. A gas pump was broken and everything sprayed on my clothes. I told the counter. Didn't even get a napkin let alone an apology - Hot drinks are available from a Nesquik machine with instant coffee - If you want a hot drink, you have to run to your place in the far corner and get your glass and show it to get a cup. - there is no service - it is a mass event. - Price-performance is not right. Suggestions for improvement: The large area allows you to set up separate quiet and quiet areas for: families with small children, party guests or adults without children. Anyone who has paid for drinks included should have a cup and a glass placed at the table by the staff. Make smaller portions so they don't dry out as quickly If guests suffer damage because of your defective furnishings, you will be responsible for the damage.

The quality and taste of the food are average, but there are quite a lot of choices in style and variety. The place is large and the space feels spacious. There is only one staff member at the teppanyaki counter who is responsible for cooking the food. He doesn't care about the large number of people or the small queue. I always wear headphones while working and listening to music, and my work attitude is extremely casual.

The place has a lot of potential. However, all of the food I put on my plate was cold and had obviously been sitting there for a while. This made it inedible. The Chinese chicken was obviously cheap as it was very fatty. Staff weren't very helpful, you should ask whether people have been before rather than assuming they know the protocol. Overall not worth the price at all!

Food not warm enough, Chinese duck very tender, poor hygiene, too dark, especially for elderly. The staff was quite back-chatty.

Visited for the first time in about two or three years. Food is okay , nice selection. The roast dinner and pudding section could do with improving but the rest was okay. Quite pricey now , £26 each which includes a refillable drink but it used to be £20 It’s okay the food is a bit cold so could do with improving but it’s fairly decent

Went for dinner Sunday pm, packed in like sardines, prices a bit expensive as food isn’t that great.

Variety of options. They have veggie options as well. Two adults and refill (is separate price) was £59.60. We went on the weekend. Stir fry Noodles and mushrooms were really nice. Can't comment on the meat as I'm a vegetarian. The food is a hit or miss at times. Soft drinks are okay would be good to have other options. Alcohol is an extra charge. Overcrowded at times. The salads are really nice. It is expensive and you are nearly paying 60 pounds for a buffet. Overall decent food!

Receptionist doesnt know what she was doing. Manager wasn't understanding and listening at all. It was really an unpleasant experience. Really really disappointed!

Great mix of different cuisines from around the world, plenty of seating spaces for large groups.

It was so good- we went there for mothers day it was extremely busy the place was full to its capacity and there where enough food for everyone and all was very tasty really good place to go and endulge in different types of cusine

The restaurant inside is impressive, walking through to your table you can't help but be excited at the prospect of being able to try so many different dishes and types of cuisine. The staff are effective but almost robotic. There is no emotion or passion in the job they are doing. It's not like a regular restaurant where the staff will smile and welcome you. The atmosphere is big and noisy, this is not a big problem because as a major buffet you have to expect hundreds of people walking around at the same time, the kids or teenagers are free to go every where, they seem to love the desserts station so the location for the ice cream, chocolate fountain and sweets will always have plenty of kids around it, you have to move carefully and navigate around. Finally the food, the quality of the food is acceptable, the dim sum and some of Chinese items are very enjoyable. But the rest is just average. The ingredients are like you would expect in a major hotel buffet restaurant, it's not the best quality or the best taste, it's just average. The Teppanyaki station on the day I visited ( Mother's Day Sunday ) had just one staff member cooking so you had to wait. Now because you have a time limit at your table, the waiting time was unfair or maybe it's done on purpose to waste away the time. As a buffet business if you know the Teppanyaki is popular and you can see it always has people waiting, logic says open a temporary 2nd cooking station for Teppanyaki, this way the line moves faster. In conclusion I think with very average food quality and the atmosphere being very big and noisy, the staff not interested in the customer apart from taking the money and to show you the table. You can feel, they want you to eat and get out on time to get more customers. It's like a big machine wanting to just make as much money as possible every day selling average quality food. On this basis it's not a very enjoyable casual dining experience. However if you want to get good value for money and eat until your stomach feels like its exploding, this buffet will satisfy you.

It's a good place for the value of money.But when you have a disability they like sticking in places where you can get hit with children running around and not where you're comfortable and sometimes it's not easy to ask for help because half of them don't speak english

Used to go before COVID. It was much better then. Now it's very expensive and the food isn't as nice as it was. Food was not replenished quick enough at some areas, particularly the pizzas and no communication to say how long the wait was, I actually think the guy made me wait longer on purpose! 🤣 Staff very slow to clear away plates and the restaurant was not very busy for a Saturday which I think says a lot. I won't be back

Food on the whole was good, but the atmosphere was spoilt at the end by everything being cleared up around us & having to watch huge amounts of food being thrown away!!

I was nervous after ready a recent reviews but they could not of been more wrong! If you are arriving after 6pm you will need to wait unless you have booked ahead. There is so much food and choice! I have not been to a bigger buffet in the Uk. All the food was fresh and plentiful, and so much variety, there is at least 5 different types of Asian choices alone. My family includes a 7 & 12 year old and if they were trying lots of new foods without hesitation as it all looked and tasted so good. Prices are really reasonable , my Family of 4 was £104 for dinner and drinks as my 11 year old was over kids height.

I expected better. Been twice as I watched the TV program & thought I would try as it looked fabulous. First time as a newbie, it was not very busy but the reception were not very polite (would rather talk to each other) and did not tell us what to do, just left us standing and waiting. Would have been nice to say 'is this your first time?.. here is what you do.' Great selection of different cuisines but the ingredients were the cheapest unlike what was mentioned on the TV. I went a second time for someones birthday but I have not wanted to go back since.

So me and my family came to dine here for our 2nd time visiting at this buffet for dinner which we never have had any issues since today. After retrieving our 2nd plate my gf, Her Father and our son walked back to our table and as she was passing by she overheard (one of the managers) make a comment saying "Look at them they went up again for more" and laughs and says this aloud to his collegue. Bare in mind, my girlfriend complained and when the manager approached the situation, he showed no compassion what so ever but instead offered excuses such as "It was not about you guys, "I was not even looking at you guys" and in a very condescending tone "are you a mind reader" Now I do not know how you guys like to dine. however, we do not want to hear such negativity and disrespect when dining especially around children who ended up distressed to the manager coming over very defensive (The youngest even stating "leave my family alone") And what the saddest thing is he had the audacity to speak like that as a manager about the customers or anyone in general just blows my mind that humanity has clearly lost all insight of having respect even at well established companies such as JRC BUFFET. This shows they allow anyone with no morals to run that buffet in watford. My girlfriend is currently looking to contact the head office and we will be spreading awareness of this situation on social media, people must come to realise there may be people who might have eating disorders or may be shy of their body weight and these types of comments can fuel these types of depression and disorders in people, that is no way for a professional individual that represents the company to behave or in no way is acceptable in general.

Buffet with an extensive range of foods from around the world. Good quality - eat all you want

Not for vegetarians. Please avoid. All starters in middle are made in same oil as non veg, there is a sign that says so. Only a few vegetarian options i.e. Margherita pizza, however people use the slicer for the non veg pizza. No one monitors this. Moody "chefs". way too cramped. Very expensive for lack of food.

Worth a visit but it’s nothing indifferent or overly great about it

We went to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday. After having the dinner, all of us (11 in the group) from three families had sharp stomach pain and frequent toilet visits for 4-5 days. This lasted for 4 days after dining. I had to take my daughters to the GP. The GP said it's due to food poisoning. I raised it with the restaurant. They came back saying they stocked the food 4 days ago and kept in good temperature. Also that we caught it from elsewhere. We understood that the food made are not fresh but stale and also they are not concerned with our complaints. If you want to have unpleasant days, then visit the restaurant. Otherwise visit a restaurant who give importance to food hygiene and care for the diners.

The allocation of 1hr 45mins per party is ridiculous. When our time was up we were literally ushered out and any food still on the table cleared away.

The food is amazing! Depending what time you go for. Don’t arrive an hour or 2 hours after they open for lunch service as the food won’t be good. Same for dinner. Come when it’s fresh. Don’t go for the desserts. Not worth the calories. The savoury food is far better.

Great and Unique place. Great selection of foods. Very busy on most of the days. Great variety of food. Love going there again and again.

Most affordable and diverse buffet in London

This was my first visit. The Italian option was warm not hot, too many children running around as if it was a playground and I felt like I was in a holiday camp canteen...wouldn't go again

Cold food, no salad bar, and vegetarian food seemed like not cooked, cleaned, neatly Indian food, not at all cooked original way. Booked for birthday, tables seating were empty, though we were still pushed and requested for time limit to finish as time was coming up, shocking and disappointed. Therefore, we couldn't have deserts. Not enough time

Awful place my son 12 years old and 165cm tall and we had to pay £26 his does not eat like an adult so 3 slices of pizza and a few chips and some ice cream cost £26 for him to eat, it's discriminating children for being tall for the age and saying they eat like adults because of there height, the food is flavourless, the currys so runny, no taste to anything, the mac and cheese tasted like cardboard, myself as an adult who likes all different kinds of food I couldn't even finish one plate off as it was all so flavourless, never again will we go as a family complete rip off

Wonderful and Unique place. Great selection of foods. The ambience and atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. The decor is impressive. The venue’s is massive . I cannot fault the customers service which was fantastic. The crab tails did not taste like crab at all. The duck could have been sliced thinner. Was disappointed with the meats as they were very difficult to chew and needs to be cooked softer. The prawns in a brine had no taste. The pepper sauce were very watery . Loved the deserts and fruits . I would come again because the evening was very nice.

Was an average place to go but definitely not worth the price and just constantly trying to avoid people as its mayhem in there trying to avoid other people atmosphere is too loud can barely hear people your sitting next to the food in soke places is ok others could of used a bit longer in the pan

For starters, the food was very dry, to much oil on the food. The stake tasted like cardbord, the fries tastless. The stuff face expressions make you fell sorry, the atmosphere is okay. The music could use some spice, the stuff could be better managed and the food needs improvement. All food areas need more fresh food, less oil when cooking it. And better management of the chefs, waiters and management team could be very beneficial to the place. Looking forward to see some improvements.

Nice place with a mixture of food. The food was well presented. The Brazilian food was tasty but the wasn’t that much of it available considering one chef would serve the whole restaurant. It’s a little misleading to list Greek food as a cuisine when what is actually on offer is salads. It would have been far better to show foods representative of what’s actually available within the buffet than use photos of cuisine that isn’t available

They have definitely changed the menu for the bad, Last time I was here definitely more choices and variety , Removed the Miso Soup The Indian Section didn’t have Lamb curry anymore , Tempura prawns gone , Chicken wings have changed and most of the food is Cold and everything in the Chinese section looks the same…Really disappointed.

Service: Most of your staff are polite, accomodating, smiling and they love what they're doing on their job. Unfortunately, there's one TERRIBLE STAFF in the Teppanyaki section. I've waited my turn to order and cook Shrimps for me, my family & my friends. He told me with angry face and not so good tone of the voice you should ask them to come here. So I told him ok, just cooked the standard servings that I can have for now, then I will call my wife & my friend from the table. Worst scnerario, he didn't cooked what I ordered, he asked the customer just arrived behind me and cooked their food. I tried to talk to one of the manager, that was unreliable because after talking to him nothing happen, my food wasn't cook and he continues cooking more food for the other guests. I find this staff is discriminate people and racist. Maybe, he doesn't want his job and forcing himself to do it. Ohh, obviously he's trying to cook slowly so people will not willing to wait on the queue. I feel so embarrassed and humiliated. Restaurant Ambiance: Good. Reception staff are courteous and accommodating. Restaurant cleanliness: Good. Dining staff are continuously attentive removing used plates on the table, and politely asking the guest/s if it can be remove. Good Quality: Most are good, based from what you're offering mix international cuisines. Price: Good. Competitive

If I could give zero I would !!! Absolutely vile , wouldn’t feed the food In there to my dogs !! Sushi is warm , chicken is cold ( that’s even if it’s chicken ) , chocolate fountain like water ! Selection of food tiny !! Refillable drink is £3.50 for watered down fake branded drinks and to make it worse in a tiny cup so you have to keep on filling them up every 5 minutes Place is an absolute sauna ! And I think they like garlic in there ! Not usually one to complain but this was horrendous and don’t want anyone wasting any of there money going there !! Please avoid at all cost !!

Loads of variety, but low on quality with a Small halal section (Indian). Tepanyaki chef had v little interest and was on his phone most of the time. He also over salted the food .. Desert section really bad, I would not come back here. Left the shop and smelt lovely fried food from another shop, I would have definitely preferred that instead.

the tappenyaki had way too much soy sauce, making it inedible. The steak was cooked for way too long, way past well done. Other than that it was fine

Overall a good atmosphere and service. Price for atmosphere nice, however, some foods were a bit bland and taste wasn't quite there! Even the confectionery wasn't there. I could understand the price but the food I expected better for the price too🙂

Bad quality, cold food, most of the food we tried had a weird smell, we ended up eating fried chicken and chips. Not variety like in other JRC global buffet. Maybe the worst JRC global buffet.

This is the third time visiting here and unfortunately this time was bit of a let down. A fair bit of the items were cold, the meat starters were either undercooked or overcooked and stringy. The desserts were however, really good as always. The kids seemed to like the finger foods though.

The food was nice ,and I needed more hot sauces options .

They are taking money ,they didn’t fill starters properly,if we ask for non filling starters they said we are filled but it’s running out ,but they have not fill starters.dining service is good .

For a Global Buffet, this place ticks all the right boxes. Food is tasty and fresh, but not the desserts. Ambiance is super good as well as the staffers.

Very convenient to eat it for families & friends. Space per group/table is good. There is a good variety of food from different cuisine. And dessert is surely enough! But better queue in the teppanyaki first! Haha.

Have eaten here before and in the past it was good. Now I had to question whether I was actually eating chicken! Definitely gone down in my opinion in terms of food quality and it all seemed over processed. Plates were cold and the dessert options were very poor. If you like over processed mass produced food this will be right up your street. Plus the cost of £26 per person and £3.80 for a soft drink refill were not worth it. I would happily have parted with my money if the quality was still there, sadly no longer the case and I won't mourn the loss of never going back!
