Amazing! We ordered for a production shoot, communicated well throughout had everything warm and ready. The crew loved the chicken, full of flavour and portion size was HEALTHY. Would book again in a heartbeat thank you!!

Never disappoints! Food.is always great and portions are generous. My go-to place for food in Watford!

I see reviews at both ends of the spectrum. I suspect the poor ratings are a result of comparison to the real stuff. I do agree on some of the points but I wouldn't rate them poor because this isn't the Caribbean and they are trying to create food without all of the real meats and spices here. Also yes, the prices by comparison are twice as much as when you're in the Caribbean, but again you can't compare. They are situated inside Watford Market but also have a stall along the high street with other food vendors several days each week so you can simply show up and order. I ordered a chicken roti and it was fine. I also got a jerk chicken meal box which came with plantains. Again, the plantains can't compare with the sweet juiciness of the ones back home Trinidad. Some of the flavour was there but I like my jerk HOT and this wasn't so I just slathered on my own pepper sauce. They also do things differently. Back home, you would never add rice or salad inside a roti but here they do weirdly offer that. Thanks but no thanks...I'll maintain my tastes as close to the original concept as possible. :-) I'm happy this food service exists in Watford; even if it's only quasi-Caribbean food. Keep going and improving!

After standing behind they're market stall working smelling the chicken cooking on the drumbeque,I had to try some of their gorgeous food, and it did not dissapoint! I had a chicken curry roti with chick peas and a side of fried plantain. The chicken was moist and tender the curry flavours were incredible and the plantain was perfection! Next time I'm back in Watford I will be buying again!!

Absolutely sublime food. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner, what a young and humble gentleman he is. Fully worth paying that little bit extra. I will certainly be back.

Best Curry Goat around. Meat was so soft and delicious. Honestly didn't even stop to breathe when eating. So good. Definitely getting from here again.

Blessings. Where do i start. Food is fiyah. I know good jerk and good carribbean food and this is levels! Fresh boneless jerk, mac n cheese perfect consistency, coleslaw fresh n crunchy, everyting is 100. Cant fault it at all, recommend to anyone

We got Roti Pan Kitchen in to cater for a birthday party for 100 people. Have to say food was amazing and such lovely people to deal with and service with a smile. Would 100% recommend using them for any functions you may have. I have been getting texts from my guests all day telling me how much they enjoyed the food so definitely a winner!!!

I ordered delivery, wasn't sure but went for it. Food was great was very pleasantly surprised! They are generous with meat unlike other places and it was very tasty and was perfect ratio for the rice. I will be ordering again.

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star. The communication with this place is terrible. Started off well and then no reply. I wanted a quote regarding Roti Pan providing food for a reception. 6 days later No response from Fes, I guess they didn't want the Business. I will not be buying from here. Is this business even Trinidadian anymore?

Roti Pan yes ma’am, yes man, chef, big up yo damn self. I had the jerk chicken roti and yes, portion size is fantastic, flavours are astronomical and finally authenticity has found a Resturant that is not made to suit the surrounding public. Blissful defo recommend

Food is pretty good BUT this place is described s a restaurant! Apparently, dine-in is an option!! This is food served from a market stall.

The curry goat I ordered was delicious. But I can't express how disappointed I was with the quantity. 4 table spoons of rice scattered and along with 8 small cubes of curry goat for £9. I've been to places that are twice as delicious authentic Carribbean goat curry for £10 with twice the quantity. I had no option as I was in Watford. Not many Carribbean choices here.

Sorry but the food and service has gone down. I was one of the first customers when you opened your marquee shop in Watford High Street. Today was hugely disappointed , after looking at the small meat content and watery gravy content on offer. I was compelled to ask whether there was a change of management I refuse to pay £9 for half container of rice n peas 👀(spot the peas) and tiny pieces of mashed up curry goat. Shame as I travel down to Watford to get authentic WestIndian cooking and today I feel cheated.

20/5/23 Well I think this place is under new management. Went for a curry goat and roti, 5pm on a Saturday. I should have known something was wrong when for starters ,I didn't see the usual crew, then the food was available, back in the day that would have been sold out. The curry was yellow, that's not Caribbean curry goat! And to be honest, I tasted lamb not goat meat. Everything is all off with this place now and I'm glad I came to see for myself. I won't be going back. I'm not used to eating Faux goat....

These young men make the best homeworking ever. Perfect seasoning. Brown stew is my favorite. All their food is like a hug around the tummy. Lovely food.

Small portions of food they get smaller by the week but the prices go up, and the £3 coleslaw in a pot the same size as my thumb is just pure robbery won’t be ordering from here again!

Valued portion, nice and soft goat meat with curried rice, even with a salad. For the Watford market, I came last winter and today found there are some radiator added around the sitting area. Very nice improvement. Definitely come again.

A lovely bunch of lads, serving consistently good food. A chicken wrap is £4.50 at the moment (September 2022) and it's a delicious lunchtime sized meal. They do other food, but I really only get the wraps, I must try something else soon.

Roti Pan was recommended to me from a friend. Service was great and friendly. I ordered chicken roti and curry goat roti. It was Yummy! Good portion and so tasty. Was worth it. Will definitely visit again. Give it a try.

Discovered the boys and their food a few years ago! It is absolutely fantastic, full of flavours and generous portions. The guys are very friendly and handle the inevitable queues that their food attracts very well. My boys are addicted to the food and rightly so! If you haven’t tried it, run, don’t walk, you won’t regret it!

This group of young men always do a good job of delivering on the food that they produce. The jerk wrap is a must. Curried goat, jerk chicken rice and peas are all a must!

We got the curried goat on a roti wrap, the jerk chicken on rice, and fried plantains. Some of the best Caribbean food for a great price. The meats were nice and juicy and super flavourful and the plantains were super addicting. Highly recommend!

Ordered twice now and both times were 5 star. Jerk chicken and rice plenty of flavour and quantity and you get your moneys worth. Sweet fried dumpling took me back to being a kid. Bless and respect.

This place is superb, I used to live in Hackney and this smacks any carribean food in East London. Jerk, plantain and gravy all 10/10. Absolutely brilliant, props to roti pan kitchen.

We never nyam up such good Roti n Rice n a kind big dumpling in a long time, most caribbean food lately tastes bland or not fresh. Definitely going back, once you try it, you will go back. Thank you my Brothas, keeping the flavours n food strong in the local businesses.

My wife is a Trini and i am of Grenadine decent, we both know a good roti when we see one. The roti skin was rolled out and cooked in front of us. Tasted so good. The Jerk chicken and salad in a roti was different but still very enjoyable.

I come here most weeks as its so tasty and great value for money. I buy a portion to eat immediately and something for later in the day. You can't buy the ingredients for that kind of money. It's a must try for everybody, you will be pleased.

Tried a jerk chicken rice box today for lunch. It was genuinely so good that in the end I went back to get another for my dinner. Flavours are fantastic and the chicken was really succulent, with a good smoky flavour and punchy heat to the sauce. Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone

We had Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Chana Dhal, Patties, Rice n Peas, Dumplings and all the trimmings, all of it was unbelievable, full of flavour & cooked to perfection. Their service was amazing, discreet, efficient and all done with a smile. I cannot recommend these guys enough if you are looking for West Indian catering for your event.

I ordered Jerk Chicken from Uber Eats and received Curried Chicken. The delivery guy definitely screwed up as on my app it said he was doing a delivery before mine which means some one else got the wrong food too. Even though I ordered Jerk and received Curried .. the Curried Chicken was good still.. I would definitely order from here again just hope I get a better delivery guy next time lol.

This stand definitely does one of the best chicken wraps you can get. Plus the fact they use chicken thighs means much better flavour. Personally I get the chicken wrap with some of the gravy salad and rice plus a sweet dumpling on the side. That is enough to fill you up easy, total cost less than £5. Can't complain about that!

We have been complaining for ages about not having top quality carribbean food in our town... Well those guys have nailed it! Staff is friendly, food is great (fresh, flavourful, with proper carribbean taste). We literally go there at least once a week. Prices are reasonable which makes this place a must-go for anyone living or visiting Watford.

Was at home poorly and wanted something spicy. Wasn’t aware of this place but it came up on Deliveroo app as a local takeaway. Reviews were positive so thought I would give it a go, and wow the Roti was very delicious. Very impressed and disappointed I’ve missed out on this place all this time. Would recommed this place.. friendly staff.. it does get busy because they are that good.. thats why I would say quick service with the amount of people they serve at any given time.. also reasonably affordable.. with 2 burritos for £6 and so on..

Truly excellent food at Roti Pan Kitchen...We stopped for lunch and sat upstairs at the market, it was cold but the Chic Pea and Jerk Chicken Rots warmed us through....Really good people run this and they make you feel welcome and have a good chat which makes a great change, Brilliant and Highly Recommended.
