Wondertree Terminal 2 in Slough

We found this restaurant in the Gatwick airport and decided to give it a try for lunch. They have a wide variety of food options and they serve breakfast all day! Despite the restaurant looking full, we didn’t have to wait for a table or to have our orders taken. Food arrived shortly after and was delicious. Our server was Emma, very friendly and efficient. When traveling through the Gatwick airport in the future, we will definitely be coming back!

Service was just about ok. Hard to get attention and grab bill. Took 3 attempts. Food was very poor. Not freshly cooked, over priced and cold.

The food itself wasn’t necessarily bad - it was the shocking service! When waitress came over she just stood there with wide eyes staring as if to say ‘yes!! What do you want!’ When we did order my son wanted a plain burger and she sighed deeply shaking her head cos we were obviously being a nuisance!! When food did come the chicken burger was pink - when I pointed it out to the waitress she said ‘why did you want it WELL DONE!’ I replied you can’t eat pink chicken! 4 of the staff stood around the burger and looking at the burger and us disappointingly! I wanted to leave so bad and was absolutely fuming by how the waitress was treating us. We were very polite and quiet and didn’t look for anything out of her convenience. I’ll never set foot in there again. They really need to take a look at there staff’s attitude cos she clearly has notions

Chicken burger was so dry so my son couldn't eat without kechap. All of our dishes were cold and I ordered grain salad but only tiny amount of grain in it. Over price.

One bite of the signature Burger "Wondertree" spoke for itself. The patty was cold and well done - I don't wanna know how many minutes/hours the burger has been prepared before it was served to me. The bun was also cold and dry. I complained about it, the waitress took it away and brought the same burger back after 5 minutes. They put it in the microwave. I asked if they were serious - 18 pounds for an old microwaved burger? After that they brought me a new one, also well done, also microwaved I guess, but at least the patty was warmer than that of the first one. I don't recommend eating there, because it was the worst burger I've ever eaten.

Not too shabby of an eatery in Terminal 2. We walked all the way over to the B gates in Term 2 only to find that they only have a Cafe Nero and some convenience stores (W&Hs) on hand. So, we had to drag the kids back another 15min of walking back. We found Wondertree and decided to eat there as it provided the biggest variety of food for our family. There was a lot of seating for an airport restaurant, and despite it looking really busy, we were seated immediately. It was more than average noisy because of its location and foot traffic, but that could be dulled out over time because of the activity at our table. The wall had the restaurant's intent to get food out to you in six minutes or less. Now, I wasn't keeping time, but it wasn't long from the moment we ordered until the moment the food arrived at our table. I ordered an OJ and a Salmon Croissant. It was very good. The croissant was flaky, and was topped with slices of smoked salmon a poached egg and beet sauce. The beet sauce was nice contrast to the savory-ness of the salmon. It did not last long... maybe less than the six minutes to get it to the table. I tried some of Liz's avocado tast and was impressed by its freshness. The kids enjoyed their eggs and toast with a side of bacon. The belly's were happy. The wait staff was very good. Eric was a fantastic server! I was watching as he dutifully managed his section. He was attentive and helpful. He let us know about a shortcoming on the printed menu and that changed my order - for the better. You have the ability to order and pay at electronically, but Eric was so good about checking on us we were able to use the last of our GBP cash on this visit. Overall this was a positive visit, and we would definitely consider eating here again on our next visit through Heathrow.

I was so looking forward to this restaurant. I had heard good things about it but, unfortunately it wasn’t what we were expecting. The food did not taste great for the price they charged us. Food was not hot but rather cold. Eggs didn’t taste good either and the sausage , well, let’s just say it really wasn’t the taste we were expecting. I would just avoid this place at all cost.

Ordered the Breakfast and coffee. We had around an hour and a bit before we needed to board our flight. Food arrived for my friend but didn't receive any cutlery. Mine never arrived and once we flagged down a waiter, we barely got any answer out of them. My coffee eventually turned up and it was ice cold. Went to ask for a refund as it took nearly an hour without anything. Said it was processed but had nothing come through. Would not recommend.

Dreadful - fruit juices were served warm, there was a bad smell from the pasta with prawns and when I mentioned it to the waiter he replied "no one else complained about it today" and walked off. That night my daughter had a bad stomach. Avoid.

This is my second time here. Somehow my food is delayed the mocha was Luke warm. People who came e after me were served first. I finished eating I have been sitting here waiting for over 10 mins. Still no waitress to bring my tab. Yet others have been waited upon and left. I don’t have napkin for my food asked a waitress going by she got 1 from next table with a unpleasant look. Asked a second waitress. She told me she is coming back. I am still waiting.

Service was poor… food was cold. Meat was very dry. Couldn’t eat it. Wait time was long. Disappointed as we were really hungry.

Mäßig erfreuliches Erlebnis… Die Qualität steht auch für Flughafenverhältnisse nicht in Relation zum Preis. Dazu kamen ehemals warme Getränke erst nach dem Essen - logischerweise kalt. Vermutlich geht man bei Reisenden eher nicht davon aus, dass sie Stammgäste werden. Letzteres könnten wir aber spätestens jetzt ausschließen.

I had the vegan breakfast. It tasted pretty good. There weren’t that many vegan options on the menu, other than a Hummus Mezze starter.

The last time we ate here it was pretty good and my cocktail came in a lovely balloon shaped glass perfect for a cocktail, this time it came in a tumbler 👎for that, service is really bad,slow,drinks took ages to come, we only ordered a couple of snacks, not worth the cost, will not go back.
