Avoid avoid avoid avoid Staff nice, but food so over priced and just greasy and full of fat. We had the premium’ buffet selection and the meat was awful. Never felt the urge to leave as quickly as we did here. Best thing about the place was the buffet and the waitresses…but the meat…terrible

To my dismay, When I arrived & ordered my meal & hot drink; I had to remind the Waiting staff re: my drink. Which he brought to me very reluctantly. Then I served myself at the Buffet, but alot of the dishes were luke warm. I tried to get the attention the same staff member, who took ages to serve me my Herbal Tea; he just walked passed me! Until the point he thought it was ok, to stare at me whilst I was trying to eat my meal (even when I decided to stare back at him). I will not be returning to eat here again….

The food was great the meat’s wonderful top notch the reason this review is not 5 is the hospitality wasn’t great the waitresses poor . When paying top prices you need top service that includes smiles . Thank you

We came here for a birthday dinner on Monday evening. We ended up increasing our booking from 4 people to 12, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. They let us switch tables and were very helpful. It was a birthday celebration, and we were looked after very well. The staff consistently checked on our drinks, engaged in good banter, and were really nice to talk to. They were also excellent at handling any requests. The food came out quickly, and they served generous portions without holding back. The cold dishes and the rest of the buffet were good, with nothing to complain about. However, it would be great if they could offer one or two more vegetarian dishes, as there were a few vegetarians at our table and the choice was a bit limited. Nonetheless, I understand that they are not primarily catering to vegetarians. It's hard to find good restaurant staff nowadays, so I hope the manager/head office appreciates the Brighton team and rewards them for their hard work. To sum up, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something like this. The service is great, and from what I could tell, people were happy with the food. thanks guys!

Food was amazing..BUT the seating and interior needs work. Lights too bright...couldn't hear any music

We revisited this restaurant yesterday evening for the first time in years. To be honest I wish we hadn’t, We were seated quickly and paid for the “cheaper” option of £31 per person. The restaurant are very clever, they wait a long time before bringing the meat. So you go up and get the sides etc and basically fill up. They then bring the meat which is so salty it’s impossible to eat it. We waited 25 mins for drinks and had to send the beer back as it was cloudy and did t taste right, second pint was the same we gave up. The meat was ok, the chicken was good but by the time it eventually came round we had eaten our pasta and bread and salad and our salty salty beef so we didn’t want it. We were in there for 45 mins, got the bill, they added £13.70 on to our bill as service charge for 3 of us!! Despite shocking service Be careful of this. It’s added automatically onto a £31.00 meal that basically cost about £10

Friends invited us to join them for a meal as they visit frequently. The dining experience is fairly unique, part buffet and part service to table. Food is plentiful and mostly well cooked. I did however have one cut of beef that I was unable to cut with a knife, chewing would have been impossible. My most prominent memory is the amount of salt that practically every cut of meat tasted of. My friend assured me that this is traditionally Brazilian, but I personally thought that it masked the true flavours of the meats on offer, particularly the beef cuts. Go hungry and it’s good value, but if just having selected items, it’s a bit pricey. Drinks as to be expected, are overpriced and you will be drinking lots because of the salt

Enjoyed the night out with my wife. The food was absolutely awesome. Very good quality. Wish I had more space in my tummy. But did do pudding as well. So very well fed. Thank you.

Overcharged us. We were told our bill was £85. That was for two standard meals a coke and a beer. Looking at their menu online I can see that they overcharged us by over £20.

Seated by a waitress that didn’t smile once. Was abrupt when serving us. The people serving the meat took ages coming round. We had to keep asking them to come over. The table next to us walked out because they got fed up waiting. The food was nice once you got it. £140 for 4 people was expensive for what it was. Won’t ever be going back.

The bottomless cuts of delicious meats speak for themselves and I have no regrets about the amount i managed to enjoy. The highlight for us was, however, the service. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the experience and provided an added entertainment bonus! The sides and bottle of malbec added to a great meal.

Tried here whilst staying in Brighton. The restaurant was very busy with no social distancing and very loud. The help yourself buffet was not a good standard. Dry and not good quality. However the meat was vey good and plentiful if you like meat! Very pricey for what it was.

Really good food and great quality. Staff are friendly however not always conversant. Hot buffet cold Buffet and endless supply of quality meats! What’s not to like! The tables and decor make it seem atmosphere poor but imagine when busy that’s not the case. With so much room maybe allow people more space to move freely. Watch out for the peppered steak :) it’s lovely but peppered.

Food here is overpriced especially for what you get. Some of the meat we got served was over cooked and chewy. The cold food selection was poor, with some of the self service food under the heated lights still being cold and badly maintained. I...

Had a great lunch here with my friends the first time we came to Brighton. The meat has a great variety and all of it was full of flavour. The girl who served us Stacey i think was very friendly and fast. Would deffinetly recommend!

I visited Touro (or whatever it's called now) last night for dinner with a friend who was in town, as we're both thorough meat-atarians and neither of us has had the time to visit this place. The restaurant has remarkably changed very little since its old Wokmania days, very spacious although does little to maintain an atmosphere.Food ordering is simple, choosing from just using the salad bar, or using this in conjunction with the meat service that regularly rotates around the tables. The higher level of the menu was £25 and value for money honestly depends on how much you feel you can eat, as it is several pounds more expensive than the salad only option.Calling it a salad bar may be a tad generous however, with fried bananas, fried polenta, pork with black beans, serrano ham (carved off the bone in front of you - a must), green beans fried with mushrooms to name but a few. There is a smattering of lighter dishes like sliced tomato and leaves, but really this should be advertised as a side bar or a buffet option. To clarify; I probably wouldn't have skipped any of these to save room for a lettuce should it have been an option, as going to a rodizio style steakhouse for a salad is plain stupidity, but there are those out there who probably would argue against this viewpoint and so it should be taken into account if you're debating going.The drinks menu is fairly standard with your usual choices, although does offer a nice selection of reds to go with the meats. The draught beer selection is limited between Bud Light and Stella Artois which is disappointing, however this is made up for by a good selection of bottled lagers such as Sagres for fairly reasonable money. A member of the serving team is always close at hand and besides a brief wait at the beginning of our session, we really wanted for nothing. I found the facilities to be perfectly adequate in cleanliness and operation, so I suspect an earlier review torpedoing them in particular was just an unfortunate day.The main attraction of a place like this is quite obviously the meat, and on this Touro does not disappoint. Members of the serving team in blue shirts can be seen in constant rotation around front of house holding skewers of sizzling steamy meat. They operate on the red/green system, where you keep your token green to indicate that you wish to keep being offered more food, and red to take a break or to finish (also you can always turn it back again, and we did). The range of meat dishes is impressive if a little random in terms of its appearance in the restaurant, but I didn't have anything that I didn't like. Staples such as the rump steak or pork with skin on were very welcome sights, with chorizo mini sausages also being regularly distributed. The less common rotations were certainly the more special dishes, such as the flame grilled prawns, the chicken hearts (have an open mind if it's your first time, well worth it!), and the filet mignon. Each dish is well prepared and cooked in a way designed to optimise that specific meat, clearly not an all at once grill like some other buffet style establishments. There is no rushing of the customers and the serving staff do seem to take an enjoyment in egging people on to enjoy more food. My personal favourite was the beef rib, it really fell apart and maintained the full salted flavour that you would get if you had cooked it yourself at home.I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Touro however I am sure that it will not be to everyone's liking. The impersonal feeling of a large restaurant coupled with the less-diverse menu options could be restrictive to some, however I would suggest that anyone going here who follows a plant based diet is probably more likely to be protesting than enjoying their food!

Debido a restricciones dietéticas médicamente necesarias y al hecho de que uso una silla de ruedas eléctrica grande para comer, a menudo se presentan muchos desafíos. Este restaurante mostró que no hay necesidad. Tenía una gran cantidad de comida y servidores fantásticos que se aseguraban de saber qué alimentos podía y no podía comer. La carne es absolutamente excelente y te hace preguntarte por qué te molestas en cocinarla en casa, ya que nunca es tan sabrosa. Los lados, ensaladas y platos vegetarianos eran abundantes e incluso varios platos de ensalada que podía comer sin cebolla ni ajo. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante, ambos disfrutamos de toda la comida, el servicio fue excelente y el ambiente realmente relajante y acogedor. A diferencia de muchos restaurantes con un área de estilo buffet, fue muy fácil maniobrar en una gran silla de ruedas eléctrica y el personal está más que dispuesto a ayudar si lo desea. Altamente recomendado.

Mi familia y yo nunca habíamos probado un asador brasileño y ahora que hemos estado aquí nos enamoramos. Tienen un buffet donde puedes recoger diferentes alimentos que van bien con los platos principales como papas y platos de arroz. Luego te traen diferentes tipos de carne como el camarón. Bistec, cordero, y muchos más. Dijeron que era el primer día de los cocineros y lo hizo increíble. La comida era de primera categoría y todos nos fuimos llenos.

What an absolute waste of a dinner and a waste of £65 for 2 not including alcohol! Firstly, the service... as we sat down we were asked what we wanted to drink after 10 minutes of sitting there in anticipation. On going to use the bathroom I found that all urinals were broken as well as 2 out of 3 taps. Covered in clingfilm with paper signs saying do not use. Then, we got up to take food from the buffet. Dry, wilted, tasteless and certainly not worth the £19 a head to make a full meal off. Having purchased the meat upgrade we eagerly awaiting the waiter walking around. First came chicken and sausage, then more chicken and sausage, then more. Finally, after 6 cycles of chicken and sausage, I asked when there would be other choices and the waiter started to walk around burnt scraps of meat I assume had been cooked the night before. Furthermore, he also walked around with a pouch of tobacco sticking out of his back pocket the majority of the night which I can't imagine is the most hygienic place for it given he's serving food.

Best Brazilian in Brighton and not only. Perfect service and good choice of food and high quality. I recommend Touro in Brighton and in London as well Muito Bom!

Please avoid this restaurant, meat is terrible. Buffet is only just about edible. Staff were not happy with my honest opinion of the restaurant. Please spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

A fantastic meal was had by 7 of us. The waitresses was attentive but not overpowering. The salad bar was fresh and very tasty, but the real highlight was the meat. A selection of beef, lamb, chicken and pork cooked to perfection. Will definitely go again

Primero entramos al restaurante alrededor de las 5 pm y preguntamos si necesitábamos reservar una mesa para las 7 pm, el caballero que estaba allí, que era bastante sonriente, y nos aseguró que no tendríamos que reservar una mesa. Como el domingo no fue un día ocupado. Llegamos y, en lugar de ser recibidos por un miembro del personal, el gerente decidió ponerse en contacto con nosotros preguntándonos si habíamos reservado. No "hola, ¿cómo está?", Nos miró como si debiéramos haber reservado, cuando nos dijeron que no lo necesitaríamos también. We have eaten in much better Brazilian restaurants. Most of the meat was lovely. However a couple were very fatty. The waiter however constantly ignored us, yet served an adjacent table with three meats before we got one. The buffet was ok. It was busy on a Saturday evening. No excuse for being ignored. Spoilt our special night if I’m honest. They did remove a service charge and provided two glass bottles of water as an apology. Much rather have good/equal service. Felt hungry still when we left which is a first from a Brazilian restaurant. The red/green card was pointless as the waiter only saw red when near our table!

I have visited plenty of rodizio's throughout the UK and this is by far the worst when it comes to the quality of food. We visited as a family of 6 on a Saturday evening when the restaurant was reasonably quiet. Straight away I noticed there were hardly anyone serving meat with one person walking around every 10 minutes. After helping ourselves to the very mediocre salad from the buffet bar we sat at the table for 15 minutes. My girlfriend had to ask the manager before anyone came to our table. When they did we were served sausages, chicken thigh, extremely overcooked and tough cap of rump and a disgusting meatloaf! Some of the cheapest cuts of meat with no sign of any steak. In front of us the manager actually said to one server "cut the meat thinner as it's good quality meat". I can assure you it isn't! The beef was well done and chewy, the one chicken thigh was ok but then didn't get offered anymore. The only things we got offered after that were chicken hearts and more cheap sausages. When the restaurant started filling up the servers just went to the new tables and ignored us. Overall the food just isn't worth the money

I was assured this restaurant offered good quality meat at a reasonable price but I was sorely disappointed. We had to wait five minutes on entering the restaurant even though there were many tables available, the staff hasn't bothered to clear them yet. All of the meat was incredibly over-seasoned, just far too much slat to enjoy. On top of that the sausages tasted very artificial, there was some very tough beef and the pork was really fatty.

Very disappointed, no wine, bad food, terrible service. Before we even ate we were advised most of the wine list was not available. Most of the restaurant was empty No atmosphere We left before we had finished. Terrible restaurant, please do not go here.

Please save your money the meat is poor quality. If you like meat that is undercooked, grisly, chewy and tasteless then give it ago.

So we were a little dubious about visiting here after seeing some of the previous reviews. However service was good. Our waiter was friendly and welcoming, and our bottle of wine we ordered arrived quickly.

Wife and I visited Saturday 16th around 3pm and really should have trusted our instinct and walked on by.

We were here for a birthday meal and have to say we have never been more disappointed by a Brazilian steak house. We were a large group attending at lunch time. The restaurant was pretty empty and still took ages for them to take drink order ect. We were basically serve just sausages and chicken.......not what you expect from a Brazilian steak house. When meat was brought out by the time it reached us it was almost gone and they would have only served half our table when they did come around.

Came here unexpectedly before a concert at the Brighton center. We all went for the all you can eat option, which gives you a selection from the buffet and unlimited meat. The buffet needs allot of improvement, allot of the food looked like it had been there for a while and was tasteless. The meat wasn't horrible but they only give you a slither and wasn't great quality. They have the right idea but it just needs some improvement.

Visited this restaurant on a Thursday lunchtime with my husband and my 3 year old. The service was impeccable. Charming and very attentive staff. Lunch time menu was fantastic value for money at £12 per person and £5 for my daughter. This included king prawns, two different kinds of chicken, pork, two beef (the topside beef was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection) and chorizo sausages which were my favourite. The salad bar had a generous choice of pasta, salads, chips, breads, rice and an array of vegetables.

The meet is to tasteless, 7 out of the more meet that they had, came. It was just Monday and not even busy but had to wait half an hour for meet to come. Had a chocolate cake and the end, tasted like out of date. Just the service was nice.

We went out for my brother’s birthday and when we got there we had to ask for drinks to be ordered after waiting for a while. Staff stopped coming to our table after bringing 5th skewer of meat and then assumed we were finished and asked to move on to desserts. We told them we weren’t finished but the staff who brought the meat out tonight just avoided coming to our table for 30 minutes. It was as if we were eating too much of their food (at a buffet). The green card meant nothing. I’ve been to two other Brazilian bbq’s and this one was very disappointing I felt I should write this review. Selection of salads weren’t that great and the breaded chicken looked like they’d been reheated a couple of times ☹️ avoid!

A good selection on the buffet. Cheap meat was on ample supply, whereas the premium meats were scarce. Had to ask numerous times for chicken hearts until they got the hint. Not very busy which was a bonus as if any busier there wouldn’t be enough staff to bring around the meat selection. Cauliflower cheese was cold and almost raw. Staff though were nice and friendly.

What a disappointment! We went there several times 2-3 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife and I went there last night and ordered the meat selection which looked the same as our previous visits, but all the cuts, beef, pork, lamb, were tough as old boots and dry. The sausages were barely cooked through. The chicken was OK but didn't give the impression of being freshly cooked. The knives provided were barely adequate for the task. Flavour was OK. Thank goodness there is a selection of sauces available to help the shoe -leather- like meat go down. On top of that the tables were sticky. Yet another restaurant to knock off our list. Can't see it lasting.

We enjoyed birthday celebrations here and the service was great considering there were two or three large groups all eating at the same time. Food was plentiful so do not make the mistake of filling yourself up with salad and hot food from the buffet area - you won't need it! All of the meats that we had were tender and delicious. Will definitely return again!

I don't usually write reviews but when the other half was vomiting and ill that evening and next day, I thought this is needed.

Food was great...The meat variety was brilliant, a large amount of choices (so don’t get too greedy to early), the staff are generous and will give you the amount you wish to take. The buffet had a great selection on its own but the meat just kept on coming, I could not fit another mouthful in me! The staff are really nice and friendly, they made me and my girlfriend feel really welcome.

A nice spread of hot and cold foods from the buffet including Brazilian staples. Great meat rodízio with proper cuts of picanha! Great time.

Went on a Saturday evening, didn't have to book and was seated straight away. Took a while to get a drink, but once we were it was brilliant. The buffet had good options, the spicy potatoes were beautiful, however, they did run out of them. The meat was lovely, good options and seasoned to perfection. The steak being one of my favourites. Everything was good, the only downside was they seemed understaffed and stressed. This guy, who I'm guessing was the manager, spoke to his staff rudely in front of the customers which I found fairly unprofessional.

Come to this with Brasilian friends and the food is authentic and fresh , great steaks and meats. Friendly service as always , but ordering drinks a bit slow...apart from that a great place to go good quality of food and prices . Recommended.

We came to Brighton to enjoy the day as it was beautiful.

Firstly once seated we had to wait over 30 minutes for a drink, most items on the buffet were warm at best and then the meat started to arrive and it was not good! Steak was like leather and so much grissle and fat it was almost all left on the plate, they advertise lamb and chicken and neither of these were offered. We asked for the dessert menu and after waiting 20 mins gave up and left. The manager is not managing he is running around clueless cleaning tables. Won’t be returning and next time in Brighton will visit Casa Brazil which is 10 times better :(

My husband and myself visited Friday evening at 7.30pm. The restaurant had a few big parties booked in and we were given a table by the front door.

My husband and I went yesterday January 31st to have lunch. restaurant was practically empty, they put us on a table and we were waiting a certain time until we called a smoke shop that was in the reception and we commented that they sat there and did not talk and the restaurant was not full to wait so long. there were only 2 tables occupied. good the salad and hot food buffet was not bad, but the meats were rubbery or when it was not raw. we always ate in meat rolls and I've never been so badly served, I complained about the meat and it said it was raw because we only wanted meat and did not want to leave us waiting. and at no time gave us the reason. we will never come back

We went here with a couple of friends on NYE. The buffet was alright, but we were here for the picanha. First the waiters seemed to be very busy and always past in a rush until they realised one lady in our group was brazilian. From that moment on the waiters were all over our table and we were literally stuffed with picanha. We even asked for roasted chicken hearts and they prepared them especially for us. Very nice! After dinner they brought the bull from which we were allowed to have some Cachaça. Overall a very nice experience and I will definitely come back here.

I was really looking forward to visiting here, we had a Groupon voucher so we travelled to Brighton from London to enjoy a weekend trip.

Four of us ate at Touro last Thursday - two 'newbies' and two who had been before. I'd explained to the newbies that it wasn't going to be a gourmet experience, but there was going to be good food, good service, and more than they could possibly manage to eat. I wasn't wrong! The hot buffet was as good as always - the black bean stew is especially nice, and the breaded plantain. Salads were plentiful, as were the breads - and please look out for the sauces - loved the chilli oil and chilli sauce. Meats included wonderfully crispy chicken, beef from rare to well done, lamb, those glorious little sausages plus more I've forgotten. There was so much!

Buen restaurante con muy buena comida. . las carnes eran excelentes y trajeron los pinchos en el momento justo. . bar de ensaladas era realmente bueno con mucho para elegir. . El personal fue amigable y útil. Solo una cosa no pudimos tener la costilla de cerdo y realmente no entendimos la razón por la que? . . Pero aparte de eso una excelente comida y noche.

I went with a friend who'd been away for a couple of years. I'd been once before and told him we had to go. I loved this place both times. The food is hot. The meat is wonderfully cooked. The variation is incredible.

We went for lunch just after Christmas. The food was excellent, the salads fresh. It is the first time we got the lunch menu, and it was plentiful. sausages, chicken, turkey, and a few different cuts of beef. We'll be going again.

We had a delicious meal at Touro Brazilian Steakhouse for lunch today. The meat was very good quality and the chef Antonio gave us first class treatment! All the staff are very friendly and the service is very good. I definitely recommend it!

I am from Brazil and I was need eat brazilian food, so I found this restaurant to remember quality of our food, and I had an excellent reception from all staff, mainly Antônio, a great waiter and deserve a trip do Australia! Thanks

En passant on a été intrigués par le menu et ce que l’on a vu et on a décidé de tester.

I was looking forward to the grilled meats but alas from the first cut I was disappointed. Couldn't cut through the beef with a knife. Plate of inedible discards from the 4 of us. Beans and rice were nice, also the polenta from the buffet but these no way justify the price they charge. £22??? Never again. Either up the quality or drop the price.

I went here for lunch with a friend today and the meat was beautiful as always and the service from the gentleman serving the meat (steak, sausage, chicken wings, flavoured chicken wings, flavoured steak, pork and so on....!) was exceptional (such a nice friendly bloke). I look forward to returning next time I'm in town. Thanks again.

Depois de procurar por varias churrascarias encontramos a touro em Brighton e tivemos um atendimento maravilhoso com o Chefe Antônio, além de uma deliciosa gama de carnes. Super Recomendo
