The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

Bad customer service, ordered four plates of food received five, we are four people keep in mind, and in return we were showed our receipt which had five meals registered when my father had clearly said four? And we are visibly four people! Just bad experience in general

Went for Sunday Dinner and got our drinks. Then had to wait 1 hour & 15 minuets for our food, 2 of them being the incorrect meats, the food was nice but not very hot. It was a real shame. The worst part was the service, it was absolutely terrible, miserable, very very rude and disinterested. It seemed that people who appeared to be regulars got looked after much much better than anybody else with fast service than anybody else. However, we were left with empty plates for approx 20 minuets once we had finished, then 10 minuets for a dessert menu. After we had finished we asked for the bill, eventually a server threw the receipt on our table and walked off without saying anything, which we all found incredibly rude and un-professional. Eventually after another lengthy wait we decided to get up and go to them in order to pay as it seemed they had forgotten about us completely. However, others got there bill and the card machine immediately after. Very very poor & will not be returning, will also let everybody know to give it a miss.

AVOID if you have allergies or intolerances or expect even basic professionalism. I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in this restaurant. My colleague is coeliac and cannot eat gluten which we clearly indicated upon arrival. The staff here very confidently stated that the meal in question was gluten-free. We even double-checked when the meal arrived and both the waitress and manager confirmed the meal was 100% gluten-free, and then once my colleague started eating they then came back to tell us that it wasn’t. The level of confidence in their own ineptitude is very concerning. To add insult to injury they also didn’t bring our sides (despite upselling us on them!) and then added service charge and cover charges on top! Even just for my lunch and sparkling water the bill still came to £50.

The hotel is an ideal location for a lovely meal in Guildford, right in the heart of the town. The service was friendly (and fast), and we were made to feel very welcome. Food was great - will come back again.

Truly impressive! The chef’s tasting menu was creative and satisfying. Each dish told a story, and the wine pairings complemented everything beautifully.

I booked this for my Partners suprise birthday party and the food, service and atmosphere were incredible! We were given the back balcony area which was ample space. I pre-ordered the food and it arrived in the time i asked. The service was great, honestly the waitress was super attentive. We were lucky with the weather as whilst it was a teeny bit cold,m it was not raining. The whole process of looking at the menu, pre-booking the food and guiding guests etc was top notch. What i will say is, the menus do need to be updated to it is clear the sharing platters are for 4 people only, and, you need pictures of the food, so people know what they are ordering.

Helpful staff, delicious food, they also accept Forces Discount, will be returning 👍

Didn’t visit the animal part just went for tea and cake which was lovely

Such a great bar. Really well run. Great design - the kind of place John Milton from Devil's Advocate would love. Friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious pizza. Even if we move to a new office, it'll remain our local :)
