Visited twice recently and 2 bad experiences. Takeaway order the first time which was the complete wrong order! Second experience waited 40 minutes for food which we had seen sat on the side for at least 15 minutes. Every other table around us had their starters and mains who had come if after. Got served to us freezing cold. Went back to ask for fresh hot food and chicken come back still cold.

Went with my boyfriend on Saturday. Ordered via the app but there was a system glitch for whatever reason so was sat for about half an hour without realising it hadn’t gone through as I didn’t think to look for a confirmation email🤣was greeted by a lovely lady who I presume was the manager but didn’t get her name. She went above and beyond in my eyes. She saw we were waiting and took the payment through the till instead by this point the app had resolved the issue. We had the food within minutes of sitting down, she went above and beyond to make us happy and the service she provided was outstanding, despite being an issue out of her control she went above and beyond to make sure we were fed and we both left with a smile on our faces. Couldn’t thank the woman enough, she is a credit to Nandos!

I never usually have problems with nandos delivery as i am a loyal and regular customer. However Nando’s customer service is absolutely shocking. Ordered food last night expecting my order that i paid over 40 pound for. Instead received a little bag with my receipt and some sauces and peri salt. In the bag with the food it came to my attention it was completely the wrong order. It seems Nandos may have messed the order numbers up when packing. When i raised this issue i was told to either bin the food or eat it? Bear in mind the food was poor quality and burnt. The chicken has been hard the past few times i have ordered and seems overcooked? They said they would refund me within 24 hours so i waited a day and then spoke to various members over the phone to see if they were going to resolve the issue as it had been a whole day? The lack of response and accountability is unacceptable. Was then told to wait 48 hours for a refund and that there was nothing that they could do? I sent photo evidence when emailing and heard nothing back at all. Nando's is not cheap and i don't expect to loose out on over 40 pound. The food did mostly go to waste as there was items i couldn't eat for various reasons. The ignorance i have been faced with is completely not ok and definitely will not be ordering from this restaurant again as when something goes wrong the manager seems to not take responsibility to resolve the issue ASAP. This is no fault of deliveroo either as the bag with the food was labelled with the same number as the bag with my reciept. Food is now overpriced and overcooked and nandos cant seem to take action quick enough when there is a problem. Very disappointed with this.

I visited Nando's to treat my son and my daughter with her 2 young children, for lunch, to celebrate my birthday. As my daughter and myself are both Coeliac we decided to share a boneless platter at £27.75. When ordering, we asked for tomato salad as one of our sides but was told by the manager that we couldn't have it as the bag hadn’t been opened. So we had to have something we didn't want. We had only consumed about a fraction of it when I became aware of something in my mouth and I fished out a long, dark hair and laid it down on my napkin. The greeter was nearby and my daughter called him over telling him what had happened. I was so shocked and distressed by this so didn't have time to think of taking a photo... The greeter said he would get the manager and went off. Moments later a man came to the table, who I assumed was the manager, Rob. He didn't introduce himself, but asked me how he could help. I explained what had happened and he said he didn't know how it could have happened as all of the kitchen staff wear hairnets. My daughter, disputed this as she looked over to the kitchen and pointed out a dark haired woman in there wearing an Alice Band with her hair in a ponytail, which was draped over the front of her shoulder. We all turned and saw her. She was the server of the food at our table. The manager said he would address this and went into the kitchen. Within moments the woman came out of the kitchen and stayed in the restaurant until we left. I’m sorry I didn't take a photo of the hair but it all happened so quickly and I was sickened by the thought that someone's hair had been on the platter of food and ended up in my mouth. I felt physically sick to see the hair lying on the napkin so folded it up and gave it the manager. I really just wanted to leave the restaurant then as it had spoilt a lovely day with my family. The manager asked if we would like another side, but as my daughter and I had shared the platter we both felt physically sick as the platter had been contaminated and wished for no more to eat there. He asked if anyone wanted a dessert, but my son is diabetic insulin dependent so cannot eat sugary desserts, my grandchildren already had unlimited ice cream and my daughter and I are both coeliac and lactose intolerant. So desserts were out of the question. The manager said he didn’t know how to make it right. I contacted complaints on Nando’s site and got a response a few days later advising me that an investigation would take place, and they would be in touch. I received a response and a 'goodwill gesture' of £30 Nando’s giftcard was offered to me as I was informed that the Manager had offered a replacement – at no time was this offered! They stated ‘'we do feel this amount we offer as goodwill gesture is reflective of the issues raised and we believe it's a fair contribution towards your next family visit’. This is the consolation for having a long human hair in my mouth transferred from a platter presented for our consumption and enjoyment on our family occasion...my birthday. Another ‘family visit’, as suggested, would have been with my son, daughter and grandchildren again, to try and replicate the day spoilt by a member of staff, at an additional cost to myself of £30, as my total bill had come to £60.90. Had I taken a photo of the hair that had been in the food ending up in my mouth, I would have reported this to the Health and Safety Council to have them deal with it. This customer service experience leaves me with a very bad taste in my mouth, so I have no alternative than to dismiss the 'goodwill gesture' of £30 as I don't wish to pour any more money into Nando's anywhere, ever.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Nando's Bromborough and had a great experience overall. I ordered the 10 chicken wings, and they were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I also tried the Portuguese tomato salad for the first time, and it was a pleasant surprise, very fresh and tasty. However, I did notice that some of the usual Nando's sauces were missing, especially the extra hot and the lemon & herb sauces, which are my favorites. The staff were friendly and attentive, but the atmosphere was a bit noisier than I would have liked this time around. Despite that, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely be visiting again!

We told the manager hoping for some help but he just said you need to have your card. We managed to get onto the app and my partner went to order his burger the manager intercepted the interaction stating that the burger he had ordered wasn't allowed. We waited for our food and a member of staff came up to say the burger was ready but the salad wasn't so I watched my partner eat his meal without any food. No gesture of any food whilst I was waiting for my food to arrive. A manager who is more concerned about customer satisfaction then profit would have made this a much more enjoyable experience. It was a shame the manager let's the team down as the rest of the waiting staff were very pleasant.

Absolutely done with Nando’s, Bromborough. The app never works so money leaves your account but no order’s placed, this has happened multiple times over a long period and nothing has been resolved. Ice machine is broken so can’t have ice in the soft drinks. Staff have no clue what to say to you if you raise an issue. They reduce service by pushing the customer towards an app and self serving drinks machines, but neither work so the whole experience is pants. Last time I am using Nando’s; a once enjoyable experience is now on par with eating in an 2* cafe.

Absolutely disgusting restaurant. The restaurant wasn’t busy but had a 45 minute wait for food. When the food arrived it was cold and sent the whole order back to be stared at by the staff for food that had been on the serving hatch for 15 minutes hence why it was stone cold. On arriving to the restaurant the cutlery was dirty all of it was disgusting. To be told it was water marks until examined and it had food on it. They never put it in the dishwasher it went back into the pots for other people to use. The service got marginally better when the manager came in and heard the complaints. There were 5 members of staff prior to the manager coming on the floor messing around joking whilst there was a whole serving hatch full of food that people had paid for going cold. Another person had to go and ask for his food to be warmed up again due to it being left out for so long.

The worst Nando’s I’ve ever been in. Sweet potato wedges for £4.50 - must have had three on the plate. Both Coke Zeros had run out of syrup and we had finished our starters by the time they had both been replaced. Place was filthy and the place needs a refurbishment or closing down.

A special shoutout to the manager on shift tonight (03/04/24) who was brilliant with my allergy order and even provided us with olives whilst we waited our orders. Went last week for lunch with the kids. Quite busy and they’d ran out of a couple of items but still had plenty of choice. Young lady with tattoos, I think she said her name was Katie, was really friendly and attentive, Made sure we had everything we needed and was happy to try and calm my screaming 3 year old down. Nandos.. more like Shamdos! Left outside in the November rain waiting for a table for 20 minutes. Then seated at the table by the door where all the peasants in the rain (formerly us) were huddling together for warmth like penguins, opening the door and letting the harsh Arctic Bromborough winds in and across our table every time somebody wanted to put their name down or somebody won the lottery and their table was called. We then waited an hour for food without a single apology or warning of the delays. Saturday night and they appeared to have 1 person greeting/waiting on the entire restaurant.. the rest of the staff pulled in to the kitchen to help with the backlog. The chefs unable to multi task were cooking one table at a time! So at least we could work out when they started cooking our food 45 minutes after being seated when the couple seated before us started getting their food. I'm not surprised they ask you for the tip sat the beginning! Some places have "best restaurant 2021" etc proudly displayed in their windows, Nandos has a sign on the entrance door saying "Tap water is free in this establishment" ... And it peaked there.

Haven’t been to nando’s for years so thought we would give it a try. Staff were polite and we got sat down fast. My friends food came at a reasonable time along with our starters yet I sat there for 15 minutes still waiting for my food. When we asked about it I was told there was an issue with the kitchen which she could have warned me about earlier and then told me it would be 2 minutes. I then waited about another 10. Food was absolutely freezing when it came and the pitta was falling apart. My friend also found a piece of plastic in her pitta. Such a shame as was going to start coming here regularly, not going again.

Steer clear of this restaurant!! I ordered £40 worth of food online for them to miss half of my items off. First, I ordered the started of Pitta and Humus. When the food arrived I was faced with a bag of plain, cut up pitta bread with no Humus?! How when you’re paying £4.50 for some bread and humus, you’d think they would remember to include the main part!! Secondly, I ordered two sides to come with my main meal - chips and Garlic bread. When the order arrived, no Garlic Bread? How can you forget a side? £18.45 for a Fino Pitta, Chips and Garlic bread for them to be missed off? And Finally, I ordered myself a bottle of Sprite Zero to go with my meal. There was absolutely no point in me doing this as just like the other items, it never arrived. Called the store to be dismissed and hung up on. I will not be returning. For the price, you’d expect better service! The food we did end up receiving was burnt anyway! Sort it out Nando’s!

After trying Nandos in Liverpool and Leicester. Id said that for a place that does chicken, its awful. But this place? It's actually pretty good! The staff are lovely. Food is always quick and hot and tasty. Great if you're going to the cinema. There should be a word for the shame you feel when you select a spice though. If you go too mild, is that an affront on toxic masculinity? Possibly - but flavour! If you go extra hot do you look like a pretentious attention seeker? I do. What do you do? Go Medium? Just tells me that your living room is grey, you've a Range rover on lease, and a Frenchie called Luna. Probably got a framed Scarface poster too. There is no right answer though. They're all good. That said, the extra hot coating caramelised a little on the grill and it was heavy. The little dark brown flags saying "Extra Hot" made me feel like a big man and I was here for that. I don't get out much. Obviously

Very disappointed with this restaurant. My daughter asked for a Nando’s takeaway. I ordered on the app. Her dad collects and when he arrives home realises the children’s chicken burger is not in the bag. We both call thinking we could ask them to organise this ready for him to collect. Only number we can speak to is customer service who say they will get back to us in 48 hrs?!? He goes to collect it and is questioned by the lady who packed it as she claims she put it in. Awful customer service. We will not go to this restaurant again.

I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was very overcooked. Side salad was a joke. Lots of lettuce a small slice of tomatoe. My husband took my grandson to the toilet, and it was absolutely disgusting. The smell was atrocious, and it was dirty. Somebody needs to look at this urgently. I will definitely not be visiting again.

Visiting the area, I called up to book, but not required just walk-ins accepted. Told it would be 30-40mins wait, so went next door to Harvester grabbed a pint..I had the Peri Peri Chicken Brocoli coleslaw rice, sweet potato wedges Spiced really good for starters, & their Portuguese beers were nice & refreshing. Restaurant was busy all night, we didn't rush atmosphere was great low lighting was more relaxing. All staff were great, only issue was my friends corn on cob was very cold, asked to reheat , & it took ages, we asked again a member of staff where it was, & they sent the manager who did resolve the issue & apologised.

Poor customer service, terrible tasting and not good value for money. We order the butterfly chicken which was described as "two chicken breasts, flame-grilled with crispy skin." and 2 sides, wings and drinks.for a total of around £25 Chef must have mistaken the 2 chicken breast as described for a hummingbird and then proceeded to good them until they were incredibly dry. When we mentioned the complaint to a waitress she simply laughed and moved on. Broccoli was tasty as were the wings.

Food taste lovely but extremely disappointed that the butterfly chicken was smaller than the palm of my hand. Left the restaurant feeling just as hungry as when we arrived. Unfortunately it was not worth the money we paid and will probably not be returning.

On line order booked for an hour later then order. Arrived on time then had to wait 15to 20 mins for order to be made up delivery guys didn't wait so guess they are priority. Poor food was good as normal

Waiting staff awful slow food waiting to get served they chatting away one side of the table managed to finish their meals the other just got the food and food is there just sitting eating to be served absolute joke. Also butterfly chicken was smaller than kids meal chicken I asked why is that waiter just said they all different sizes shrugged and walked off definitely not coming back

Disgusting. After the amount of time I waited I expected fresh and hot. Chips were old and cold....chicken breast that ordered turned out to be a chicken leg and it was burnt. Last chance. Never again

Waited 20 mins for a table @4pm that was ok as we hadn't booked, sat down to find a long list of things unavailable about 15 items! no coleslaw or corn. If we would have known when we asked for a table we wouldn't have bothered wondering around Dunelm waiting for the table. Paid £30 for a few chicken thighs and chips and 2 cans of sparkling juice

Served starters quickly, was nice enough. Mains took a while considering it wasnt overly busy. Served us raw peri peri salted chips and when pointed out to a member of staff was told "oh we've had a few complaints of that tonight, few chips have been misplaced from wrong fryer". With no offer to replace or refund. Will stick to other nandos in future.

Waited 25mins to be allowed in as usual we where put by the corner where staff take their break which isn't a big deal but you get the odd awkward look its fine so we are sat by the counter too where 20ish pre cooked garlic bread where in a bowl under the heat lamp for 15 mins while we looked through the menu but then had a wet corn slapped on top of them which sat there until we left. All the while staff walked past asking each other if it was disgusting in there (the kitchen) I get it was busy but im not paying £30 for the equivalent of chicken McDonald's when that's going on at least cook "fresh" I get its all out the fridge ect but I'm not paying for dried out garlic bread with a hint of corn water.

I was at Nando's on Thursday 18th November for my sister's 50th birthday, there were 12 of us including 1 child and we were well looked after by Jenny from arrival to departure. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was buzzing. Jenny was even good enough to store our gifts for my sister until after we'd eaten, so we had plenty of room to manoeuvre, she was such a lovely host and very helpful when the little one spilt her drink, not once, twice but 3 times, she was completely unphased, we would definitely reurn.

Food is very good. Not sure where some reviewers have actually eaten, it seems not to be at BoBo West Kirby? We went for dinner and drinks and it is a solid experience. Lamb chops were very good! Music was exciting but not intrusive, a very welcome addition of a DJ in there, adds to the summer vibe of the menu! Don't let a handful of negative reviews put you off, those types should go to miserable places like Wetherspoons instead.

Pricey. £35 for steak, few chips and broccoli. Steak wasn't very big The table was near the door. The draft from outside was cold. I had to put my jacket on because it was cold. The waitress was in and out of the fridge and washing right by our table. There were tables upstairs empty. We would have been better up there. £21 service charge was added which I don't like to see. Would i return..sorry to say but it's a no.
