A beautiful birthday meal I wouldn't pick anywhere else for my birthday. The food was delicious and staff amazing you cannot beat it

Another lovey night with Great service from Ian and the lovley young lady .The food was exceptional as usual it just never dissapoints. Thanks also to the chef and his staff. You just cannot beat this place. I just wished I lived a bit closer I'd go a lot more .

I can't say anything about Lino's that hasn't already been said. It's a top restaurant now and always has been.

Lino’s Restaurant has never disappointed. They are an old school style restaurant with classic dishes done to perfection. The menu at £27.50 for 2 courses is ideal, you know exactly what you’re spending. The variety of dishes is brilliant, something for everyone. The wine menu is fab also, we opted for a Viognier which was delicious. Our starters were the duck filo parcels and the pork & black pudding meat balls, albóndigas. For our mains we had the lamb shank & the sea bass fillet. All the dishes were excellent, hot & absolutely delicious. I have a few pics of our main meal but we’d eaten the starters before I had chance to picture them. Service is great, when we arrived our coats were taken and hung up which is just part of the old school charm that Lino’s offers. Highly recommend

Lovely place and really good food

Excellent food and a menu thats is different to the standard selection that lots of restaurants seem to have these days.

Superb evening from the moment we arrived until we were the last to leave!! Ian made the four of us very welcome, bringing us drinks and menus in the reception area. The food, wine and whiskies were first class, excellent value and the service could not be bettered. We were never hurried and felt that our every need was catered for, including Ian ordering taxis for us. We can highly recommend Lino's to all.

This used to be our , favourite restaurant, however the menu which hasn’t changed in recent months , is so disappointing.we haven’t been for ages. We went with friends on our Christmas night out.( their choice ) We were hoping for some exciting specials and some festive dishes , to boost the menu , but were offered spaghetti bolognaise or chicken with pepper sauce as the nights special dishes. Neither exciting or festive .

We were a party of 8 and pre ordered out starters and main courses which worked a treat although its not required - the service is so good. All the dishes were exceptionally good and amazing. The whipped feta cheese starter was sublime and the best I've tasted. The atmosphere in LIno's is ideal as cozy ( you can hear as opposed to 'shouting' which you have to do in more minimalist places ) The best in the area I'd say.

on the 18/11/2023 we visited this Establishment and i must say the food was lovely from starter to dessert and everything was supper it was nice to get a really Hot meal i had shank and it was spot on the ladies were lovely and attentive the chap who made my cocktails was very nice and Courteous and helpful i have walked past this Restaurant everyday for 30 years on the way to work and never been in and we have booked to go again as this is only 5 walkr and I most say the food was much better then the ships

This is a small restaurant so a reservation is highly recommended. This was my 2nd visit here and both times I have had the most enjoyable meal. This time I opted for the lamb shank , the meat just fell off the bone. Servers are attentive and very pleasant

Went to a 40th wedding anniversary which took over the whole restaurant. Food absolutely delicious. Starter, main and dessert to die for . If you want top quality food come here . You won’t be disappointed.

So much attention to taste and presentation. Wine list brilliantly sourced at reasonable pricing. We've booked in for Xmas lunch and sure webe in safe hands. Couldn't find room for puds but will do next time. Last photo is of my Dahlia. Nothing to do with Linos but love it

Definitely the best restaurant in Hoylake, perhaps even the Wirral. Service was immaculate and the food was absolutely spot on. I'd go back again just for the chocolate cake! Top stuff.

Can't believe I've lived in Hoylake for 9 years and only just visited this restaurant. Lovely food, amazing service, proper independent family run restaurant for 40 years - and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.

A good local restaurant serving a Mediterranean influenced menu. Service is friendly and at £25 for two courses it won’t break the bank. There isn’t that much competition locally and the place deserves its success.

My first visit here and it was an excellent choice! A set menu but with various options including Vegetarian choices so something for everyone. The gentle background music was not intrusive for my Tinnitus and so it was easy to chat ( so many places are noisy ) the service was friendly and efficient, the food well seasoned and cooked. I was delighted to find a Tanner's Wine List with varied selection. All said a happy evening with good company.

We were there last night 3rd November as this week was our 49th anniversary of our first date. And still having date nights. Very good value, £22 for two courses, with good portion sizes. My wife had the duck as her main and I had the beef cheeks. Both delicious! What I particularly liked was the friendliness of the staff, and the fact that the atmosphere was very relaxed, almost intimate. Will certainly return

Lino's has been in existence for many years and has succeeded when many have failed. And it's not surprising. Delicious food, generous portions and very good value for money. Great atmosphere and service as well. One of our favourite Wirral restaurants. Highly recommended.

We are fans of linos it's a little gem we found a few yrs ago and even Wen we hadn't been there for a while during covid when you go in your always made very very welcome by Ian and all the staff there. The food is always exceptional as is the service. You are always treated more like a friend then just a Customer we love it thanks to to all At linos

Met here with a group of friends. Nice waiting area, service was great, bringing over our drinks. Once we had all arrived, we were shown to our table. The decor creates a lovely ambience. We went for the set menu, but what a choice. Quite a few things were additional cost, but still plenty of choice. The food came out quickly and was delicious. We all had an amazing time.

Having walked by here for years it had never been on our radar to go but wanting to eat local tonight we decided to give it a try. My only disappointment was that we have not gone sooner! Absolutely fabulous food, gracious and attentive service and will definitely be going again, I hope not too long away! Hats off to all the team we have had a fabulous night

What a wonderful restaurant! We were staying with a friend in the area who was a fan of this restaurant and booked us in. We were not disappointed. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the food was fantastic quality and value - fresh and full of flavour. The menu gave us the chance to try dishes that you don't find in other restaurants. The service was professional but also warmly welcoming and friendly.

Took me back to how restaurants should be run. Brilliant staff, and I do mean old school brilliant. Delicious food cooked perfectly (definitely recommend the beef cheeks). Great atmosphere with pictures of the original owners who's family, to this day, run the restaurant. Heartily recommend this place. A grown up restaurant for people who just want a nice evening with loved ones and friends.

Went to Lino's for my 60th birthday last week; our first visit. There were 11 in our party and all enjoyed the food, drink and atmosphere. Everyone commented on the reasonably-priced, excellent menu, including vegan options. Excellent choice of venue, we'll certainly be back! Had a great night tonight at linos cebrating a birthday and anniversary haven't been for a while due to covid so first visit back. And as usual this is a great place. Food was amazing and Ian who was front of house gave us a great welcome as ways he remembers everyone names which is fantastic. What a great place to go for a really good meal at a reasonable price. The Front of house staff is a real character and adds to the whole experience. Food is a cut above the normal. An interesting selection with Italian influences. Wine list is good and not too expansive. Had a very enjoyable meal at a reasonable price for the quality we got.

1st visit and it will not be our last. Excellent venue with top notch service. Freshly and prepared cooked food. There was a small collection of bottled real ale and very good vegetarian selection which move the experience into a 10/10 from me. I would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.

Staff are lovely, the food tastes good yet for some reason I don't think its fresh , ive not been off the toilet since and felt very poorly . My partner found hair in food which they did sort and give us a bottle of wine for free. But i feel so ill and partner has really bad guts .

Returning for our first time this year we had a fantastic evening. Warmly greeted by Ian and his attentive bar assistant (impressive gin list!) we barely had to wait before our table was ready. Excellent menu with plenty of choice. Enrico continues to show why he is highly regarded as one of Wirral’s best chefs. Not forgetting a superb wine list, all reasonably priced, and a warm ambience. A complimentary Grappa from Ian’s personal stash and Bailey’s coffee for the wife rounded off a superb meal. If you haven’t been here yet it’s a must.
