We always find the food at Nando’s is tasty and we visit on a regular basis because of this. Staff are friendly, but appear to be too busy or otherwise occupied. We ordered via the app and collected our cutlery, but no forks were available. We asked for forks and were told they would get some. We also asked for vinegar, but was told there is none in the restaurant, this has happened on previous occasions! Please re stock. Our main course arrived before our starter and before our drinks and we still had no forks, so we couldn’t eat and food was getting cold! We chased up the starters, drinks and forks and the staff apologised. On our departure there was quite a few staff members downstairs standing around having a chat rather than paying attention to customers needs.

UPDATE Still slow service when collecting for takeaway. Booked a collection slot with an hours notice. Upon arrival still hadn't started cooking. Had to then wait another 30mins before it was ready to take away. Arrived home for me to realise they had forgotten some of the food inside. I am at a loss as to how they can still not get this right? Not cheap either!! ORIGINAL REVIEW Food here is always a great meal! It's nandos so what could go wrong?!! If ordering online, be sure to give at least 30mins before going to collect, as they can have delays in kitchen. I think the kitchen struggles to keep up, so there can be a wait for tables to when eating in. I guess that's the price you pay for picking a favourite spot in town. Not the biggest of portions though, so quite expensive for what it is...

I have been a fairly regular customer for years at Maidstone Nando’s so I’m extremely upset that I’m having to leave a 1 star review. The Beanie wrap that I received via delivery today had chicken mixed in with the beanie mixture. I’m obviously very upset by this as I’ve been a vegetarian for 5 years. This is a massive cross contamination issue and I worry that some of the staff there might be careless when it comes to cross contamination which is a huge issue for people with allergies. This has never happened to me before so I was completely surprised by this. I obviously won’t be visiting the restaurant again and would like to know that something will be done in regards to an investigation as to how on earth this happened. This wasn’t simply a mistake in doing the wrong order or labelling it wrong because the chicken was with the other parts of the Beanie wrap. I don’t wanna sound like a bad person and I know everyone makes mistakes but this is a terrible mistake to make and there needs to be accountability taken and appropriate consequences.

I recently dined at Nando's in Maidstone Town and had a fantastic experience. The chicken was absolutely perfect—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I also tried the chicken liver, which is a new addition to the menu, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious, and a great surprise for something different. Highly recommend this place for a tasty meal!

Great location as I have just moved nearby and can pop in for a quick meal . I often go for a wrap but this time I tried a 1/4 chicken and it was amazing , will definitely be coming back and ordering the same thing . I believe the guy on the grill was called Ash , so very well done to him .

I would personally rate this Extra-Hot. Wow, the chicken was juicy and succulent but beautiful charred at the same time, I could tell it was made from hands that still have a passion for food! (sometimes nando’s gets a bit dry but this was top tier) The server mentioned it was Ash that made my food, I just want to say thankyou for making our time in maidstone brilliant - keep up the amazing work!

Firstly the staff were friendly and helpful but it went down from there. Your feet stuck to the sticky floors.😬 The whole place seemed to be in need of a deep clean. I wished I had taken photos of the small portion sizes. It was expensive for what we ordered. My wrap was tasty but was lost on the plate. My wife's salad was boring and tastless. The toilets had some atmosphere as there was some piped music. The whole experience smacked of a company struggling to make ends meet. Probably because of high business rates, rents and everything else. Overall a disappointing visit and I will not be going again. I cannot recommend Nandos Maidstone.

We waited 60 minutes for our food, my corn on the cob was completely burnt. The staff very slow even though the restaurant wasn't full. Tables were not cleared or cleaned. Leftover food was on the floor. This was the worst Nando's we ate at. Not going to Nandos in Maidstone again!

Arrived and delighted didn’t seem busy - no guessing why ! Firstly, no atmosphere at all employees standing around ‘chatting’. The drinks machine was giving out ‘flat’ drinks. When mentioned we were advised gas needs changing to be fair they advised when this was done, although it made no difference. Food arrived - cold. At no point did anyone ask if everything was ok as per other Nando’s. We left and left did and full glasses of flat coke. Normally I’ll give any place another chance - but no not here it was the worst mean I’ve ever had.

Came in for a cheeky nandos and its was amazing, we where seat right away and told that we can put our bags behind the booth to make sure we had enough space, it was quite busy for a sunday but the atmosphere and service where amazing, accidentally got given a extra beer, offered to pay for it but was told its on the house which is amazing, 10/10, and thanks to the manger on shift who was outstanding and really put a smile on our faces

I was out with family celebrating my granddaughters birthday. The meal was tasting great and then at the end of the meal my older son tipped the rest of a bottle of ketchup his daughter had been using to finish some chips off and out came from the ketchup bottle chicken skin that had been put in there. The manager didn’t even offer refund just said he checks the bottles every day. That was disgusting and customers should be aware! I won’t be eating there again and Nando’s should offer ketchup in sealed packets only. My granddaughter could have been very unwell on her birthday due to this.

It was a good experience to eat at Nando’s. My wife and I enjoyed the place and service, it creates a friendly atmosphere and makes you want to come back. The staff is efficient and friendly, we enjoyed conversations and cracking a few jokes. The food is well seasoned and nice, but sadly it is a surprise how small the portions are. This is my only criticism as when I ate in different Nando’s few years ago the portions seemed larger. With all that in mind it is definitely a recommended place to go and we hope to come back again.

Came here with friends for a birthday lunch. As a veggie I ordered the mushroom and halloumi burger and after a ridiculous wait I was brought a chicken burger. CHICKEN… I am a vegetarian and I find this unacceptable. It then took another 20 minutes to griddle a mushroom.

The service is good, and the employees were friendly. The location is convenient, although the establishment's interior is a little tired. The food is a mixed bag: the chicken was excellent, but the Peri-Salted chips just tasted like oven fries (in other branches, they're spicier for some reason?) and the frozen yogurt was outright foul. Value for money was acceptable - not more, not less. Overall: meh. Not great, not awful (except for the yogurt, which should be avoided like the plague). If you come here, stick to the chicken and you'll likely have a better time.

We invited our grandchildren over to share a take out from Nando’s Maidstone we placed our order and waited patiently An hour and a half later the delivery arrived at a cost of 80 pounds sadly the chicken itself was missing with some side orders meaning the family would not be eating more so the grandchildren who had waited for the so called treat of their choice. I called the branch the call was diverted to an off shore customer care facility i believe in America following another 2 hours on the phone they refunded the chicken element alone and assumed the matter was closed. My family had not eaten and the experience was unacceptable so i drove to the branch. I spoke with Adam the the branch manager who was completely unaware of the issues as the customer car apparently do not update the branches. Regardless i expressed my disappointment with the lack of food delivered and how my family had gone hungry as a result of this poor service at a cost of 80 pounds less the 21 pounds offered as a refund from the customer care to be credited some 5 days after the event. The branch manager Adam offered to intervene with a request for a full refund and a complimentary invite to the branch for us to attend. An email was sent from the branch manager outlining his proposals and detailing the actions he would be taking to make a positive offer to redeem the experience. Since that date we have sent 4 emails and made 3 calls to the branch to confirm the situation as it has remained unresolved. Apparently our emails have not been actioned at branch level the customer care has closed the complaint without a refund and the complimentary invite has at no time been formally confirmed or detailed as to what exactly it would include implied or otherwise. We called the branch today apparently no emails were responded to as they claim they never received them no calls were actioned because no one bothered and apparently voice mail messages were left but there is no account or evidence of these either. We having waited three weeks to have a full refund as promised and a good will gesture confirmed are now still out of pocket for goods not received and no recourse either as the complaint has been closed by Nando’s. I would advise any one ordering a take out to call into the branch in person to place your order and check it prior to leaving as if you allow for the service to be managed by their third party provider they will take no responsibility or action any refunds or even ensure that you and your family are actually fed which was the purpose of the transaction simply our money in return for a complete order of food which never materialised. Not good for a company that claims otherwise …

We were seated downstairs despite tables of two being available upstairs, which meant we were more prone to children (toddlers) being sat near us - luckily those that were seated around us were fairly quiet. We were surprised at how slow the food took to arrive - unusual for Nandos. We ordered online (2 mins) and waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. My partner was frequently looking over towards the kitchen, and it looked like the chefs spent more time looking at the order screen rather than cooking. We did notice food being served and sat on the hot plates for a while before being collected and delivered to tables - the couple 2 seats away from us did comment on food being ‘warm’. 2 of the 4 chicken thighs on my plate did not have the usual chargrill colour or texture to them which was disappointing - I had to leave the skin to the side.

I’ve been to numerous Nando’s all over London, have also been to Nandos at Bluewater. Nando’s Maidstone has to be the worst Nando’s restaurant ever. The food isn’t seasoned properly, always luke warm and seems to be run by kids who don’t have a clue. Tonight was the last straw, we ordered a take-away this time from Nando’s Maidstone and seriously never eating or ordering from here again. Most of our food was missing, food was cold and not seasoned properly. The price we payed for a meal for two people, it was not worth it at all.

Fantastic food and warm inviting atmosphere. Service was outstanding Arek & Tsveti made us feel so welcome and were so friendly. The Manager was also so accommodating & kind (Apologies for not remembering his name). Over all experience 10/10 such a lovely evening. Highly recommend a visit to this branch of Nando’s

Lovley food but terrible service, everything is online to order and stuff but I came into the restaurant so I’m not always using things online. I was really disappointed and I had to get up 3 times and ask for things because I hadn’t got them yet.

I go to nandos 3 times a week all over the country. This was by far the best service I've received from all of them! I unfortunately didn't get any names, but was served by a young blonde lady who was patient, polite and welcoming and also had a bubbly young lady who served me at my table. Good service is hard to find these days and this was probably the highlight of my day! Thank you 🙏

Will not be ordering on delivery again. Missing item rice. Ordered through Nandos website was charged both a service and a delivery charge. When i called about missing side they only saw fit to refund the missing item leaving my partner with half a meal. At the very least should have refunded the service and delivery charges as they didn't serve or deliver the Complete order as expected. I did explain my feelings on this but there was no movement. Terrible customer service big companies forgetting how to treat paying customers properly. Will not be back for my regular order £45 for a 2 person meal should be looking after customers better

Ordered online and collected. Food wasn't ready and waited over half hour for food to be cooked, after arriving though it was hot so wasn't too painful. There were chips missing from out order! Everything else was OK Just the waiting around and the missing food. Also the peri salt was sparce on the chips.

Delivery not fulfilled because the driver couldn't find a clearly marked house (it has TWO signs, both easily visible from the road and large) then he marked the status as delivered without telling us. If I didn't call up they would have taken my money and ran. We didn't even get our order in the end. Useless.

Ordered Nando’s via deliveroo . Once again - Half the food was missing and the rest was cold . Took over an hour longer than the promised time to reach us. NEVER AGAIN.

Popped into the maid stone branch today for a cheeky nando’s with the family. I was very impressed by the staff incredibly polite and friendly. Especially the manger. Food was fast and everything was hot. Followed the dinner up with a caramel cheesecake which is a favourite of mine.

Visited on a Thursday evening and it was dead, only 6 people including us. Had some chicken kebabs and the chicken was nice but overall it was nothing special. It came with a tiny salad and a very small rice portion with the chicken having 5 cubes. Had a couple of soft drinks and came to £39.00 including a service charge! Went here 3 years ago and it was fantastic place, now I will not return as generally poor. No atmosphere, small portions and overpriced, far better restaurants nearby.

It lost a star because it was rather chilly and we all kept our coats on. Food and service was excellent
