Excellent food, quick yet respectful turn around, good wine list. Top drawer for a business lunch.

Nice, good quality food. Very noisy at lunch time but possible to hold a conversation. Do not go if you are vegetarian, this was disappointing - the tortelloni is delicious but you only get 5/6 pieces for £20+, very overpriced and not enough for a main meal when compared to the meat options.

Expensive (they add a 14% service charge, plus a £1.50 cover charge) and the restaurant is also incredibly noisy so you need to shout to have a reasonable conversation. My guest was kept waiting for 20 minutes as they couldn’t find my booking when he arrived - although I was sitting at the table waiting for him. At the end of the meal they just presented me with the bill as they were clearing the tables - so I felt like we were being. chucked out without a polite explanation. The food is good, but they really need to sort out how customers are treated.

We loved it. I work in the city but have never gone or invited a relative to dine in the city so it was a very good experience for my sister and brother in-law. They loved the food and my sisters favourite wine was on the menu so that was a plus. It was busy on the Friday however it is the season of Christmas parties which I am used to and they are not (they don't live in London) but they enjoyed themselves. The staff were very busy but very attentive and helpful with the menu. We never felt that we were abandoned to wait to catch the eye of a member of the team, infact when our glasses were empty our glasses were refilled again. I have dines at Luc's before and will go again. My sister and her husband will be back by themselves in the new year such was there enjoyment. A great experience. Thank you. Marcia.

Lovely little restaurant in Leadenhall Market. Friendly welcome and good attentive service. Food was excellent but thought the starters were a little expensive. We will return again.

Perfect spot for lunch above the general market tourist hullabaloo. The appetizer smoked duck salad is a perfect pick me up before hitting the street for the next museum across the bridge.

Food is on the whole good, but did feel that my gluten free request (for coeliac disease) wasn't taken entirely seriously by the waiter. Service from one waiter was good, the other less so. Business lunch - party of three ate starters, mains and desserts and were out within 2 hours.

Appetizers very good. The desserts were amazing, but the main course, duck confit, was a disaster: the meat was hard and dry, as if it had been reheated.

Fantastic as always. A special place in the City. Always delicious.

La mejor manera de aumentar su facturación y ganancias es ofreciendo excelente comida, servicio y valor. Tristemente no sentimos ninguna de estas lástimas.

I recently dined at Luc’s and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. Jenifer and Giuseppe provided exceptional service, always attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Five stars all around!

Lucs es una excelente cervecería francesa. Menos caótico que algunos de los parisinos y el menú es corto pero bueno. Hay una variedad de opciones, incluso si no te gustan los filetes que yo hago, pero mi invitado y yo decidimos por la ternera para el plato principal con papas fritas de col y hermosa ensalada de tomate que era excelente. Ambos tuvimos entrantes de tártaro de lubina que estaban deliciosos. Una carta de vinos excelente y a un precio razonable. Teníamos una cuna del Ródano que era excelente y un pudín compartido. El personal era muy eficiente y encantador. Siempre volveré a Luc’s siempre bueno y los precios son justos para la ciudad de Londres

Ambience is ok (old but well decorated) and quaint, but contact lens wearers- do not come in the summer as the fans will dry your eyes out (and no they will not move you). Service is also not great- waiters are clumsy / careless (her bracelet was all over my utensils so I had to ask for new ones). Food was edible but not that great, and definitely not worth the price point. Good window-side views of Leadenhall market though.

L’atmosfera davvero bella, tutti i dettagli curatissimi. Si può mangiare godendo di una vista splendida sul Lendenhall market e tutto ciò che ho ordinato era davvero buono. La differenza l’ha fatta però Giuseppe: il cameriere che ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare, attento, professionale e gentilissimo. Ha insistito per farmi fare nuovamente il caffè perché temeva che si fosse freddato mentre mi ero allontanata per usare i servizi e ha declinato la mia offerta di dargli più mancia affermando che la sua più grande soddisfazione fosse sapere che la mia era stata una bella esperienza! Grazie Giuseppe!

Instead of the steak that I would normally have, I tried the tuna nicoise and it was absolutely delicious! Excellent!

The rosti starter was dry and not very appetising. The main course described as cassoulet was not cassoulet as I know it where the sausage ingredient is cut up and incorporated into the cassoulet, not as it arrived with two whole sausages lying on top of the the other ingredients.

Steaks are overpriced. I had wing of skate that was overcooked and dry. I asked for some tartare sauce and the waitress brought me tabasco sauce! I explained that I had asked for tartare sauce and she came back and said “2 minutes”, I never did get any tartare sauce for my very overcooked skate wing

A really lovely restaurant, with a great atmosphere. Food was delicious, and could not be faulted. The service was excellent, and we were not rushed at all. A perfect evening all round, and I would highly recommend. Please note: there are quite a few stairs up to the restaurant, and the toilets are down and then up some stairs, so it is not suited for anyone with mobility problems.

The waiting staff were very helpful , there was a vibrant welcoming atmosphere but maybe a little too noisy with the number of large parties in that night. . The food was well presented, we both had the bavette, it was tasty and tender.

Difficult to review as a restaurant as without warning or explanation and only 3 days before our special meal, the restaurant cancelled our reservation! Tried to email and call to reinstate the booking, and have been ignored! Abysmal customer service and I'd never entertain them in the future regardless of their possible high food offering.

We had our work Christmas party here last night, it was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious, service was outstanding. They completely worked around us, and once we were sat down the food service was really prompt and they were always checking in on the whole party and even more so with me as the host. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, and I can't wait to go back. A big thanks to Mo, Giuseppe, Mac & Cebille for making our night totally unforgettable.

I visited Luc’s Brasserie with a large group for a Christmas dinner/party. The food was excellent and the staff were exceptional. Cibele, Peppe and Kevin were especially attentive. They were incredibly friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. I would 100% recommend visiting Luc’s brasserie and will definitely be back!

Service is (and has always been) excellent and having lunch at Luc's is a very comfortable experience. The menu is limited but gives a good spread of choices, and the wine list has all the favourites. We loved the atmosphere and the views of Leadenhall Market from above.

I have never, ever given a bad review like this in the decades of being a member of OpenTable, but other than the welcome when I arrived, which was lovely, everything else was terrible. My friend and I were firstly sat at a very cramped table. Perhaps that is not surprising in the run-up to Christmas? I ordered the starter of beef tartare (£11.50) and was served five raw slices of meat covered in long white sinew, which I could not cut with a knife nor chew after I'd managed to cut a little off. It should have been chopped into pieces at the very least! I had no option but to send it back due to it being inedible. There was no apology at all. I did get a replacement that was roughly chopped this time, but the white sinew was still evident and there was no seasoning. I had to leave the white sinew parts of the replacement too. I am an expert in beef tartare and this was the worse I've ever had in 40 years. If they are going to serve tartare with cheap cuts of meat with sinew, I suggest they mince it. My chicken main was dry and reheated. The small gravy boat had 1cm of oil floating at the top and what was underneath was tasteless and thin. My friend's sausage cassoulet had tiny beans that looked more like barley and the beans portion was very small. The noise was so terrible from the close tables of fours either side of us, that we couldn't hear ourselves speak; even if we shouted After finishing our wine and leaving part of our main course, we asked for the bill three times before it came. After which we went to another restaurant for a desert, coffee and two brandies each to get over what was a very unpleasant experience all round. Can I say that this was my third time at Luc's but I will never go again.

Good food and service. Enjoyable venue. The only slight drawback is that it does very often gets very noisy and it is not always easy to hear what your lunch companions are saying. Some more fabric to absorb some of the noise would be helpful. That said, I do keep coming back.

It is just the best spot. Everything is good. Most especially the impeccable service.

Lovely food and my friends were impressed. We changed the numbers, adding one at the last minute and the front of house were unfazed. View of the Christmas tree outside was pretty and the market also - very attractive and a good talking point. I have eaten at Luc’s before and the food was lovely then so ….. 5/5!

We booked again after our first visit in November. We arrived at 8.15pm after our booking was confirmed but was told kitchen was closed. Unacceptable on a Thursday night as Opentable allowed bookings up to 8.30pm

The atmosphere is magic, the food is excellent and the staff is exceptional. I went with a friend to celebrate my birthday and every single member of staff made us feel so welcoming and special. I m really pleased with my experience I would highly recommend it.

Lovely location inside Leadenhall Market. Very popular lively brasserie and service was good. Menu choices were good. My disappointment was with the temperature of the food when it came out - not hot enough. My starter had a poached egg and it was clearly cooked before and kept on ice (quite normal) but it had not been re-heated properly. I also had the cassoulet which was warm but not hot. Otherwise a good experience.

The food was delicous. I ate the Tuna steak salad and chocolate mousse for dessert. Both great the service was fantastic and the ambience great albeit very noisy at lunch.

Mixed feedback. Having chosen Luc's for convenience and knowing the food is consistently good, mid week its also VERY popular. My recommendation is that if you are hoping to spend time with a client and be able to hear what is being said easily, then choose Luc's on a Friday. I found the tables to be crammed together to understandably make the most of the feast of bookings prevalent for mid week lunchtimes in the City. However, much of the ambience of setting and location, and attention to service, has been lost in the cacophony of sound.
