I would like to say THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUU to TOM the manager for his EXECELLENT customer service. He went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice.

Absolutely the best Nandos I've ever went to. The current staff go beyond making you feel welcome and make sure you are having a great experience. Food is great and again I have to mention the staff just checking back and making sure my daughter is having a nice time. Diamond staff. Protect them.

I have just eaten at East Croydon Nandos with my family and the service was fantastic. We were served by Vineesh. He served us very well and provided excellent customer service!

Great experience, great food, great service

We love a Nando’s, especially late after a dance comp, it calls our names wherever we are in the UK. This excellent, modern and clean East Croydon, George Street Nando’s (round the corner from the Leonardo Hotel and the Whitgift Shopping Centre) really hit 10 out of 10! Especially with the amazing Stefan who is super friendly, super attentive, super efficient and just all round great. Don’t miss out especially on the best macaroni cheese outside the USA, the vodka passionfruit slushy and the mango ice cream. And obviously all the chicken dishes and sides. Thanks Stefan! We’ll be back.

Everything was incredible. Our server was incredibly nice and the food was delicious. The peri peri chips were mind blowing. Coming here is a MUST.

The man who took the order (Yashdev) complained that we did not thank him for taking the order, even though the order had not been completed. He then went to serve another customer before our order had been completed. After I complained to him, he still refused to complete our order. I spoke to the manager who eased the situation and offered us a free salad and free drinks. The manager handled it well, so we would come back.

Worst Nando’s restaurant we have ever visited went at 2.30 pm today it was very empty only 10 percent full the staff we so sour faced and not welcoming just ignored you I could understand this if they were busy but the Resturant was empty then they took 25 minutes to bring the food and I could see there at least 8 staff working asked livers to be well done but very disappointed the rest of the food was ok but the staff acted like you was invisible and didn’t care please avoid this Nando’s at any cost been a Nando’s customer for 28 years this the worst restaurant I have ever visited

Employee David was very good at his job and make me feel very welcome and was fantastic.

Had a meeting in the area and popped to Nandos to grab a quick bite. I was welcomed by Elisa with a lovely smile, asked me about any allergies which shows great awareness and offered me the table i wanted. Happy with the experience

We dined here tonight and had such a pleasant experience. The food, the drinks, the service were exceptional. The Manager in white shirt (sadly I did not catch his name!..) deserves a raise - he did go over and beyond to make everyone happy, was running around a lot just to make sure that everyone has everything they need, which I haven’t seen this in my local Nandos for a while.

Sometimes come to this Nandos for food. In general, my visits have been okay, apart from the last one. I was shocked with the ridiculous size of the Nandinos' mac & cheese portion that my kid got served. When I complained that, in previous visits, the bowl was considerably larger, the waitress fobbed me off with the excuse that this is the correct Nandinos bowl size and the wrong one was served in the past. There's a picture of mac & cheese on Nandos website, and you can see this is not the case.

This Nando’s is rubbish. They never have chicken thighs. Regardless the time of day. Don’t bother going here. Walk 5 mins down the road and go to the other Nando’s.

I confess to being a big fan of Nando's, which in my opinion offers a perfect balance of quality and tasty fresh cooked food, speedy and courteous service, and a pleasant ambience, all at a reasonable price. Concerning this branch in particular, I would rate it as among the top Nando's locations I have visited, convenient to East Croydon Station, the tram stop and Box Park, yet almost a world apart - an airy, spacious and bright oasis in which to enjoy its specialty: grilled per-peri chicken. It's hard to explain, but the whole is somehow greater than the sum of its parts. Highly recommended.

The Nando’s in east Croydon was a lovely spot to hang out in, the food came with such fast service and the staff were incredibly friendly especially helping me figure out payment methods. Stefan was very nice and the only name that I saw but everyone was lovely. Ended up staying for hours because of the homely environment !!

Often come to this Nando’s for a cheeky lunch! They cook the food good at this branch.

She was extremely welcoming and polite throughout my experience, she not only took my order correctly and was extremely patient and kind but she made sure the food was okay, the food was excellent as always and came quickly.

Was first time here didn't know it was here ordered a take away half chicken chips and corn on the cob chicken was lemon and herb place was busy took food back and only eaten a small portion of chicken and half chips then corn on the cob Within half an hour to hour didn't feel at all well 🙃 had very bad upset stomach constant gergulling noise in stomach was very unwell I won't be using that place again its put me of of nandos and spoilt my weekend 😒 away

Nandos is Nandos im only leaving a review because of a staff member called Stefan. He is literally customer service in human form. He was so good i had to go back to the cash register and ask for my receipt so i could leave a review about him. I sat at table 4 at around 16:52 with my son. Only negative thing to say was to women in the kitchen shouting at eachother ruined the atmosphere a bit, other than that food was good service was perfect and the restaurant was nice over all.

Nandos Franchise - take note - the best Peri Chicken Livers with the freshest Portuguese roll - I've ever been served in the UK. I might live in the South, but this Nandos branch will definitely see me again.

I was having a very miserable time at Nandos east Croydon today 12/4/2024 But Stefan came to the rescue with his amazing service and customer skills i personally believe if more staff were like him at the east Croydon store it would be amazing I believe Stefan should be promoted

Great service. We as customers messed up by switching tables after ordering. The staff were so nice, considerate and understanding and handled our error very professionally. Top marks. The staff here are fab!!!

Fourth or fifth time we are going there, the food is delicious and the marinated chicken is out of this world, simply perfect. The staff is courteous and very attentive, the service is superb. Overall, the atmosphere and music are great and the restaurant is very clean. Will be definitely coming back soon and cannot recommend this placs enough.

All the time the food is not cooked, try to contact them by the phone and never answer.

Well where do we start, toilets are dirty whilst staff stand around talking. Last time I was here there was poo smeared across toilet wall and I had to bring it to the staff attention, didn't appreciate being asked about it whilst eating my meal as making me feel physically sick. Obviously, a lack of structure in checking the toilets are clean for customers. Nandos is famous for CHICKEN but this branch don t want to serve you with CHICKEN as they haven t enough, I still can't get my head around it . If you go in ask for 2 chicken breasts as you don't eat the leg etc then don't be surprised if they say NO even if it s quiet you ain't gunna get your two CHICKEN breasts on one plate. Then a feeble excuse from the manager why they can't serve you. Why you saving CHICKEN breast for later. There no guarantee you going to sell out, and if you do then your ordering of CHICKEN from the wholesaler is massively out!!!!!! Been to better Nandos in other areas

Loved the food, great service, the place was busy - so quite loud. But we had a great time.

First, I absolutely freaking love Nandos. For the past two three months, I've eaten Nandos in several locations including Uxbridge, Sittingbourne (opposite train station) and Bluewater Shopping Mall in Gravesend. The food, especially the chicken has always been sooooo good and well seasoned and just great Then I ate at Croydon at the shopping center. Twice (cause i wondered if the first time was a fluke). The chicken always tastes off. The chicken itself is not seasoned and has no taste and depends on the sauce on it to cover its bland and unappealing taste, which it fails to do. The taste is only hidden with additional immersion in loads of added sauce. I love all the other locations I have eaten Nandos at, including Chester Cheshire. I have no idea why Croydon Nandos tastes so different and I would prefer to not make assumptions based on location and clientele. But Nandos, seriously, do better. Consistency is key in growth expansion and sustainability.

Very disappointing experience. Portion sizes are smaller these days and I was given a weak excuse by the staff why the butterfly breast was just a single portion. They ran out of cutlery and estimated a 5 minute wait while my food was going cold on the table so I was forced to eat my meal using two spoons. I know they like customers to have the DIY approach to dining but there were a number of staff just ambling around doing little..forgot that Nandos is run as a tax avoiding cheapskate operation.

I genuinely believe this is the worst Nandos in the country when it comes to the food. The chicken is always burnt and they they are seriously stingy with the feta cheese!

shame our chicken was so dry, we could see it sat under the heat lamp for 20 minutes waiting for sides to be prepared and it was pretty much inedible when we received it. no sticks given for the corn on the cob and no ice in the ice dispenser, the deciding factor of us going to nandos was a cold icy drink! gutted about my experience

Crazy experience . Just made my 1st order with Nando’s east croydon and got delivered the wrong order.No help from the staff at the outlet as well who sugessted I should check with the Deliveroo driver whom I had no chance of contacting after delivery was made . A whole chicken was ordered and I got a burger.

Usually ok but they sometimes accept Deliveroo orders even when they are far too busy to process.

Jaden is my guy everytime i come in his attentive, professional and ready to represent the brand. Ive never felt so welcome into a premises in all my life and i eat OUTSIDE. Overall the East Croydon branch team are great but Jaden remembers me lile remembers me and considering how many humans he sees everyday that means something. So get that increased salary over to Jaden and the East CroydonTea for sure.. Thanks Guys sometimes I dont even want nandos but i know the teams 💯

It's been months since I went to Croydon and this one is close to East Croydon station. Welcoming staff and security. They greet you which is nice. Friendly service and nice ambiance...

Nice cooked chicken a shame they got so much nat flys everywhere bothering you why are you eat flyng around your head and your plate? Not a nice experience, while eating might as well eat near the bins.

Very busy, the staff were very friendly and did their best for us, we had quite a wait for food, so we received complimentary desserts, still had a wonderful time and enjoyed our food.

Food was fine, if a little slow. We made a drinks order via the app, but eventually chased this up after half an hour. It was a remarkable effort to find any staff member willing to take a cursory glance around the restaurant to see if anyone needed anything; they'd rather stare at their phones or chat. It turned out that they'd completely lost the drinks order, despite it having been paid for. No apology was made. We'd eaten all of our food long before the drinks arrived

Food stone cold clcouldnt even eat it what a waste of £40. So disappointed won’t be going to this branch ever again

Yes! Well done Nandos! Visited on a busy Friday lunchtime. Seated straight away. Ordered our food at the counter and it wasn’t long before we were served. Delicious warm grain salad with extra chicken! Goodness it was fab. My friend enjoyed her burger too. Service was excellent and I will be back for sure. Toilets are downstairs but clean. My only gripe is the music is just a bit too loud. Found myself shouting to be heard by my friend across the table. Turn it down a bit Nandos ;-)

My colleagues and I popped in to have lunch and we were served by Natalie who was very friendly, warm and helpful. We placed our order with her and she gave us recommendations about the menu. Another lady brought our food to us and unfortunately the chicken was cold. I told Natalie about it and she ensured that the chicken I received was hot and as I specifically ordered. She also checked in with us to ensure that we were happy with our meal. She was very attentive and professional. Lunch thoroughly enjoyed 😊

Absolutely ridiculous service when spending over £100 for food between 5 of us. Do not take dine in orders if you are not going to let people sit and finish their meal, it's a very simple logic. The manager needs training in customer services. Some of the staff were lovely and apologised as we left with food in takeaway bags but no where to sit and eat.

I adore Nandos coleslaw so much. The wings are super delicious, and comes off the bones. Definitely would recommend.

Nando’s East Croydon, don’t ever order for delivery or takeout from this outlet. Out of 10, at-least four pieces are burnt. Every-time!

I have been to Nando’s consistently for the past 15 years and I have never experienced such exceptional customer service. The restaurant was at the most busiest time of the day and gave us a complimentary starter which I felt was caring. One particular member of staff that dedicated her time and was polite and helpful was Cami. Cami is the most wonderful young lady I’ve ever met. As you can imagine in this day and age I have been to a fair amount of restaurants from michelin star restaurants to McDonalds and Cami single handedly surpassed all my experiences with her conduct. Such and inspirational young girl and I know she will be a great person in the coming future I want to also mention the branch manager Jayden who took the time to accommodate not only us as guests but also the other customers in the store, you could see they were all under pressure but he led his team with professionalism and care. Which is what a great manager should do. Finally would like to also mention Andrea who was also so polite and helpful, she didn’t rush us whilst eating and she went out of her way to help with other things we needed so she is also an amazing employee. The east Croydon branch will always be the best branch of Nando’s I’ve been to so far! Great work guys keep it up!

I would just like to shout out Cami ! She was the most hospitable, efficient, polite not to mention- HARDWORKING waitress I have ever met or experienced. I just had to get her name to write this review. She was super quick whilst serving yet very attentive to detail with requests. We had a lil problem with our order and she ONLY came back with solutions. Honestly, it was so refreshing to witness. Nando’s ought to either give her a raise or really praise with a gift because she is working so hard to please every customer that walks through that door. She listens and moves quick and goes above and beyond to meet your needs! As a customer I was beyond satisfied and would recommend this branch simply because of this girl and her manager Jayden who was also very helpful and polite. Jayden also was quick to find a solution and ensured we were happy. Couldn’t ask for better customer service . Andrea was also another member of staff we came into contact with who seemed to be cheerful and welcoming. Jayden is doing good work with his team!

Been here twice with the family but will be coming back more. Normally Nando’s are average/good overall but with the personnel Idris, who was very welcoming, helpful, and the service was amazing. I don’t do much reviews but this one definitely deserved it for the service from Idris. Would recommend!

The food and service was absolutely amazing. I would also like to highlight the great customer service from the server named Jayden.

Got seated as soon as we walked in despite their being a queue. Sauce selection was stacked including fresh bottles of ketchup too. Food wasn’t the quickest but was hot and cooked thoroughly with no complaints despite it being super busy inside.

I love this place. The staff are friendly and the food is fantastic. Reasonably priced and I always feel super safe and comfy here on my own for a working lunch. Thank you!

Food here is actually tasty this is probably the tastiest nandos I have had in the UK and service is 10/10 the staff always goes the extra mile for the customer, I made one complaint once and the staff were quick to solve it no issues.

Delivery is poor, they dont give you any sauce there is no option on deliveroo for sauce so why not add one or two. So disappointed

Awful just awful. Burnt bun on the burger, more chicken on a butchers pencil than with the meal, peri salt must be rationed by the gram and it seems like less spicy than before.

Really disappointed on the waiting time and the way I was dealt with, when asked about why my food was taking long and other was eating and not me. All I got was it was put on wrong table was still made to wait a while. Then got informed that my wings was missing as they wanted the other table to get there full order and not us. Also not check up upon after.

Always a great experience at Nandos!

I went with my wife and kids for my mother in love’s birthday party. This was not the first time we have been here and the last time we came to this branch it was over three years ago. One thing I noticed today was all the new faces and the friendly staff members that served our whole family. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves and so did nanny, she had a wonderful day. It was so good that she ended up giving the last pieces of her birthday cake to the staff, made by us SVB on Google, follow us on instagram under @simplyvbakes and all other social media handles under the same name.

Really nice branch location is good too if your walking around but nearest parking is about 5-7 mins walking distance away and it's quite expensive parking. 😅 Staff and food are great though. 👍

Horrible, horrible, continuous online delivery experiences. Every time I ordered online from them during the last 6 months there has been a problem and ended up to fight the Deliveroo support for reimbursement, but guess what? Now Deliveroo (as their single delivery partner) only do a percentange credit reimbursement of the damaged items and not in full. Either the food is cold, items missing, or meat burned. We once found a few wish bones in the Fino Pitta. Avoid and order from Croydon Valley

It can be a bit expensive for the portion sizes, there is a limited choice of non-alcoholic drinks, and the background music was a bit too loud. However, the food tastes nice, they have vegetarian options, and the service was fast.
