Yeha Noha in Croydon

Delicious home made pierogis and the friendly owner speaks good English hence I got a good understanding of the food.

Decent food, nothing too special, but good prices. They definitely need to be more mindful of their cleaning process for glasses. My wine glass was full of someone else's lipstick 🤢....Other than that it was okay.

Yeha Noha is my favourite place for a drink after work in Croydon on a warm evening. Right by NWD junction station, pop in for a cocktail x

Wish i had discovered this place before! Incredible stew. Cooked by the owner. Had a good chat to him, as he's full of life and stories. Going back to try the burger next.

It’s not often you find quality home cooked food these days but I thought the beef stew was excellent today. A warm and hearty dish. Not tried the burgers yet but that’s next on the list:)

Such a lovely place to be, Had an espresso martini and a the best burger I've had (I've paid much more for worse) and previously, I had a tasteful drink called the apple pie. I recommend everything! Took a sip out of the espresso Martini (pictured) forgetting to take a picture first. I can confirm that it's worth it!

Love this little spot in south Norwood. Found it when we moved here and always come back. Homey, chilled atmosphere, friendly owners. The beef burger here is AMAZING, and I don't say that lightly - a MUST try. Everything is homemade and you can tell. Big love to Yeha Noha!

A very basic bar/restaurant where no expense has been avoided on decor but the food is absolutely fabulous. The perogi and stew served on football match days is a must, the sausage inna bun delicious. Canned Polish lager a thirst quencher

Yeha Noha was our first stop for a pint after a long delayed flight to London. The service was very good and the locals in the pub were extremely friendly. The traditional Polish takeaway was delicious and prepared quickly. We would strongly recommend that anyone disembarking from the train at Norwood Junction make Yeha Noha the first stop before heading to their accommodation.

1st visit to this establishment, venturing here on the way to CPFC Beer Festival at Selhurst Park. I had Polish sausage which was sliced & put in lovely roll along with gherkins & mustard. Really nice. My wife had the garlic panini with goats cheese, cherry tomatoes, rocket salad & olives & which was served warm. I tried a bit & this was also really nice. We didn't have a drink, only water, as we were going to the beer festival 😁 We will definitely be going back again to try the stews & the dumplings.

My friend had slow cooked beef stew with mixed veggies, ravishingly scrumptious!! I'm writing on his behalf cos I'm a vegan, yet the aroma reminded me of home cooked Pakistani meals. Wonderful service and a VERY generous portion.Lech, a Polish lager that I had for the first time is sublime! I'd come again to sit out in the sun and soak some atmosphere.

Quite enjoyed my meat stew today, sitting outside with a beer. Good value with friendly staff. The cocktails on the table next to us looked good!

Lunch, before watching the match at Crystal Palace ( Chelsea won), was some sort of pasta with a meat filling. Not to my taste but my friends seemed to enjoy it!

Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food, will be returning! The meat stew was hearty and slightly spicy, full of veg and the beef was soft and tender. The caramel cake had layers of cream and fruit and really hit the spot.

Quite pricy and vegetarian options and desserts too limited but this is a lovely place. Good food and good coffee. Staff is nice and friendly

Quite disappointing, no social distancing being observed. The cafe has an eclectic style but dust everywhere and chairs at different levels. £3 for green tea felt too much for this place. Didn't try the food, just a sad cheese plate with stale crackers. An intoxicated customer went over to shout at someone who had a brought a small dog with them, and the manager didn't even intervene.

Was here last night, 4th March - a Wednesday midweek supper and drinks with friends. The location was fabulous, being so close to the station, the decor quirky and really cool. But despite the service being really friendly and the wine really good the menu is an odd one to get your head round! The soup was off ( no problem!) The cheese platter was off due to lack of choice of cheese and the waitress told us that the salads were not a good choice due to the availability of the saad components. We ordered the beef stew. It was a really tasty bowl but for £9 it was underwhelming. The room was a tad cold so when the bill arrived I felt it was overpriced for the experience it represented. With a few tweaks this placed could be so much better m.

Awesome place in Norwood Junction. Great atmosphere and friendly/cheerful staff. Food was great at fair prices - for £7 I got a burger that lookes better than most advertisements for burger chains! You can also sit outside. Highly recommended.

Small cosy Polish Cafe, handy if you are traveling through Norwood junction. They have beer and a few Polish bits to eat.

Own is very warm and welcoming. This place has a good atmosphere and the food is also good. They also serve alcohol if that's what you are looking for. If you are not into crowds, please do not attend on Crystal palace at home match days! There is also open mic nights.

A relatively late night visit after a football match at Selhurst park just up the road. The decor is quirky, the owner and staff are friendly and the prices are pretty good for authentic Polish produce. It seems to be flourishing - long may that continue.

Came here with group of about 10 for birthday drinks Friday evening. The owner was really friendly and we had a good laugh with him, felt like he was staying open just for us as the night got late. Drinks were really reasonably priced and we sat outside. With the nearby wall art and the busker over the street it actually felt like we were in a bar in Europe or something. Inside is like a cosy living room with abstract pictures and stuff on the walls, really cool. Didn't try the food on this occasion but will definitely be back.

The proprietor, is a lovely man. Music is nice in the background. Love the fact that families with young children go there. The soup is delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing.

First time here on a hot Monday Bank Holiday. Chilled atmosphere, 80's remix on the stereo and Polish beer and food. What's not to like.

I've eaten here a few times and it's always so lovely. It is a bit dated or obscure in it's decor but that kind of makes it feel more relaxed. Very nice to call in after work and have a very reasonably priced meal. The sausage and burger is delicious, the Pierogis are even better than the ones I've eaten on holiday in Poland and the staff are so friendly.

This spot is brilliant. Excellent warm, happy service. Sit at one of the cute little tables topped with a rose and look out the colored glass windows with a cup of tea or coffee and grab breakfast or lunch, you won't be dissapinted! Highly recommend the "Magic chocolate" its a spectacular cozy alcoholic beverage to warm you up and put a smile on your face, hits the spot on thoes chilly days

My first time in this really quaint and hospitable venue. It was a chance visit , but I would definitely go back again . I was greeted with incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. I wish that place was there when I lived in the neighbourhood.

Very comforting place to relax and enjoy coffee or a beer. A snack. Catch up with a friend. Outside in the sunshine or inside in a cosy private corner. This business helped South Norwood become a little more funky. Great chilli plants!

I had a book signing event at the Yeha Noha on the 29th March. The customer service was excellent and the cafe was clean and tidy, the whole place had a warming feeling great for a book signing event. Been here twice in two days. Simple food, nice teas and nice wine. The polish stew was meaty and delicious as were the polish dumplings which were a bit like gyozas in shape filled will finely minced chicken and pork. They come unaccompanied but we’re delicious. We had a burger and a polish sausage roll with a dill pickle last night. Both were lovely. They had really nice looking cakes and donut type sweets but we didn’t try them. Nice, homely atmosphere and the host is friendly and efficient. I am sure we will be back before we leave.

Yeha Nova is always a warm and welcoming place to be this winter weather. The variety of snacks served means that most tastes and appetites can be catered for and the host is very charming. I live locally and I have been visiting this cafe for about 5 years, It is always an enjoyable experience.

Nice little independent cafe/wine bar. Nice small menu of polish items. Also a very nice hot chocolate too. But restricted with what is on offer this still lacks something to keep me going back again and again. But if your in the area a definite good alternative to the chains that litter our high street.

We all went in for Coffee and sat at a very comfortable couch & table the cuisine on offer was different and i sampled Balkan Stew ( Montenegro) absolutely delicious my type of food will visit again

Have loved this cafe since my first visit about 4 years ago. The menu is simple but satisfying and the atmosphere agréable. I usually come in on my own but when I have brought family or friends they have been surprised to find such a quality cafe in South Norwood. I notice this year YEHA NOVA is the Croydon independent cafe of the year. . Figures!

Serves expensive "freshly squeezed orange juice" which tastes like it has added water and sugar. Fills up with ice so he can use less juice.

Fabulous Polish/Balcan Cafe close to the station, good parking around. The Bajan beef stew is a must to try, accompanied by some Tyskie Polish beer. Come and try it.
