This one is by far the best Nando’s. We had dinner with our 3 young kids and Ivan was so welcoming and friendly. His service was flawless. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at Nando’s on Croydon High Street. Kaylin was amazing—she was incredibly friendly and polite. I have allergies, and she took great care to accommodate them. The food was delicious, and the entire team provided excellent service.

I have been in this branch several times and to my surprise, they served me chicken that was ridiculously very small. I used to order the same and it wasn’t like that. I don’t mind paying more for the same consistent portion but this one is off! Service: This branch isn’t busy but the staff who looked after the seats were very reluctant to serve customers at all! Took me 5 minutes to get a seat in an almost empty branch (3 groups were only eating). Took 30 minutes to serve my dessert despite follow-up. I will never be back in this branch again. Lazy customer-facing staff!

Customer service was great. Attentive, professional, efficient and genuine. Food what a let down, home now and already on the toilet.. Unsure why as i asked for medium yet chicken was lukewarm and bland. Tables were rocky so was hard to eat so i had to stabilise the table. Chairs too low for the rocky tables and I'm not exactly 6 Feet tall so MANAGEMENT - FIX UP AS THIS IS NOT OK... Well done to the servers you are awesome.

First, I absolutely freaking love Nandos. For the past two three months, I've eaten Nandos in several locations including Uxbridge, Sittingbourne (opposite train station) and Bluewater Shopping Mall in Gravesend. The food, especially the chicken has always been sooooo good and well seasoned and just great Then I ate at Croydon. Twice (cause i wondered if the first time was a fluke). The chicken always tastes off. The chicken itself is not seasoned and has no taste and depends on the sauce on it to cover its bland and unappealing taste, which it fails to do. The taste is only hidden with additional immersion in loads of added sauce. I love all the other locations I have eaten Nandos at, including Chester Cheshire. I have no idea why Croydon Nandos tastes so different and I would prefer to not make assumptions based on location and clientele. But Nandos, seriously, do better. Consistency is key in growth expansion and sustainability.

Staff was friendly. Chicken was taste good. But chicken thighs was not much. I think half chi chicken will be fit for eat more people.

Summary - A cheeky Portuguese chain. Day / time - Sun morning Food - Spiced Chickpea Wrap. Nothing special but completely edible. Noise - Very quiet, we went at 1130 when the restaurant opened so we were the first people there. Atmosphere / decor - A standard Nandos. A Standos... I'll see myself out. Pleasant when it's just us and not heaving like usual. Service - Prompt, friendly. Parking - No Price - £10. I only got a wrap.

Not very busy for mid afternoon. Staff busy chatting instead of bringing over food which was ready. Food mediocre, rice especially not fresh. Won't be going back here to this branch.

Went to this Nando’s midweek with work colleagues. I had the butterfly chicken burger with the Ltd ed bbq & garlic sauce with 2 sides. I had fries and Mediterranean coleslaw. It arrived and i was completely underwhelmed. The fries weren’t seasoned and there was no salt, pepper or vinegar available. The coleslaw was tasty but the chicken burger was just bland. It was ok but I’ve had a tastier and visually more appealing chicken burger in other high st fast food restaurants. Nando’s seems to rely on its reputation for the really spicy sauces that you can add yourself. I wont be rushing to go back!!!

Love Nandos, got good service but there was hardly any cutlery and the knives were dirty. There was food on the floor around most of the tables which was not good

Ordered through the Nando’s App. Took over an hour to arrive, food was cold, soggy and largely inedible. The chips box was a third full, rice box only half full, no flavouring on chips or corn on the cob which was also overcooked and dry. Spoke to Deliveroo who ‘kindly’ refunded me less than 20% of the order value which isn’t reflective of the issues or experience. Really poor overall.

Reliable nandos in terms of nice food but don’t come here for customer service. I went after work to order takeout as I’d been travelling and working all day and wanted to get to my hotel. After ordering the food I asked to buy a glass of wine whilst I waited. As I was enjoying my wine and reading my book waiting for my food a female who I presume was the manager came over to me and basically scolded me like a naughty child saying her member of staff shouldn’t have given me wine as it was takeout (despite me drinking it inside) and she could lose her license and I shouldn’t ever ask for it or expect it again. Now obviously I don’t want her to lose her licence but the way she spoke to me about a mistake her member of staff had made me feel so ashamed I gave her the full glass of wine back. Had she just come over and nicely said her staff had made a mistake and could I please return the wine for a refund it wouldn’t have been an issue, but instead she went for the rude, bullying and belittling approach. My advice is order delivery from here rather than risk facing the staff as the food is still good!

The Croydon High Street branch is definitely the BEST, excellent food and service; while the Canary Wharf has nothing to do with Croydon's food standard, anemic, tasteless chicken.

I have been to many a Nando’s and this is the best one by a million miles. The customer service is second-to-none and the food quality is absolutely first class. If you have never eaten at this Nando’s before, what are you doing? This is a must-visit for anyone living near, or passing through, the Croydon area - you will not be disappointed! Thank you to the staff at Nando’s, Croydon High Street, for a wonderful experience every time I visit.

I bought my daughter and her friends here for birthday lunch (12 of us altogether). I was so happy with the service - they were accommodating and we waited for less than 10mins to get 2 tables of 6 which I was so happy about! The food was very quick and all cooked perfectly. The waitresses were all very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely one of the best Nando’s I’ve been to, and I love Nando’s! Thank you to the staff in there, your doing a brilliant job :)

Don’t bother going there, all you’ll get is abuse from staff showing you middle finger as you walk out the door! My 70yr old father had to witness a member of staff showing us all how you get treated in Croydons high street Nando’s. How is that even acceptable? Shift manager didn’t have a lot to say, this is why this member of staff does what he wants. Tells customers to f… off with no repercussions whatsoever. Boneless chicken thighs are so tasty, tender and well seasoned. Coleslaw can be better. Garlic bread is so hard…I don’t recommend it. Prices are medium

I had the great imitator burger .. its horrible .. the piri piri sauces are all way too hot and just cover the taste of the nasty food.. I also had a bowl of chips. In the burger there were three pieces of their fake meat and too much sloppy lettuce . The bread was nasty too ..I know many people like nandos but I cant say its a place that sells good food.. even the table wine is very overpriced and as its just next to a pub I think its where people go to soak up all the alcohol they've had at the pub.. I really wouldn't recommend nandos for anyone who really likes food. I wouldn't take my friends there. The good friend I was with happens to like horrible food!!!

The quality is fairly good for the price. A bit too busy at times, so difficult to talk while having dinner, as it is quite overcrowded.

A while ago KFC had the imposter. Now Nando's has launched The Great Imitator as a burger, pitta or wrap dressed with their new plant-based Vegan PERinaise. The Great Imitator is made completely from pea protein. It was really difficult deciding between the Pitta or the Wrap but I decided to get the wrap and Nando's were really helpful and let me have the chili jam on the side because I wasn't sure if it was going to be sweet. I got the takeaway, so the wrap came in a Tortilla Wrap Sleeve. Obviously it won't be piping hot but it was still good. Taking the first bite I got more of the wrap than the filling so I sliced the wrap in the middle and ate from the centre. There is supposed to be four pieces of the imitator chicken by their books in the burger, wraps and the pita. For the pita, I found it tastier if you separate two pieces per half wrap to get an even distribution when you eat it. I was really impressed with the texture and taste of the imitator because it was like eating the roast chicken with some crisp chicken skin on it. It was also like eating the springy meat off a moist chicken wing so it was certainly a treat and very different to Quorn roasted chicken fillets which taste more like white meat. Overall, the only thing I personally didn't like was the PERInaise which was a bit sweet although sweet the chili jam fared better because you could taste some tomatoes in it. Although my first experience was good, I think I am going to try it again without the default sauces and have it with Nando's signature sauces because nothing beats the taste of these sauces. To summarize, I would definitely recommended this to anyone who is curious and they won't be disappointed. Now that I have talked about the food, I'll move on to the service. As I was getting the takeaway, the guy was really patient in explaining the best choice for the vegan, it was extremely helpful that he mentioned that the sauce could be served on the side. He also offered if I wanted any of the sauce sachets which I did want. Upon collection, I was lucky I checked the bag because the sauce sachets were not there so I was able to get them. But had it not been for the guy I would have not known about these sauces which really made everything taste as good as if you were dining there because Nandos sauces are always the star as well as the chicken. The only thing that I wish was included was some cutlery and napkins but I was too excited on the wrap and sauces to think about those items. It would great if they had some chairs outside for people sit while waiting since you are not allowed to wait inside.

Payed them a visit for a Friday evening with the family and had an amazing time. Great and caring staff, service time was average and had to wait around 15 minutes for the food to arrive but it was decent quality. Will definitely visit again. Kids loved it x

Handy for East Croydon station but that’s about it. When queuing up to give order the woman on the check out just didn’t give a damn. She was looking the other way for gods sake. It’s like we were pissing her off with the audacity to take our very straightforward order. Where do you get staff like this? Do you state arrogance and rudeness is a quality? You’ve only been open for a few months and the service is nasty,rude and lazy. Do you think we are coming back for that s...t ?

The cutlery is dirty , the staff won’t even take action on it . I had to go to the small sink and wash them myself just to make sure . Once I brought the remark the guy he is telling me no is all clean . I added a side dish , asking if possible to have it together with our dish ! We got it at the end once we finish all the food , with an absolutely normal excuse that we are busy now , this is not a fast food, this is a restaurant . I’m like this is far from even a basic customer service. The manager is disrespectful as well , he didn’t even apologize and he is convinced that this is absolutely normal. I tried nandos several times in Qatar ! No comparison for sure . Horrible experience !

Food took 45 mins to arrive. Thrown in front of customers instead of placed (one would assume a hard night for the staff). Hair in food. Shame really, usually very good but alas standards have slipped since East Croydon branch has opened. I’m assuming the good staff have migrated? TLDR; sort it out. Used to be good, terrible now.

The food is lovely the only cons are that there are sometimes ques for 30mins but apart from that it’s a very nice place to stop of at for dinner or lunch etc

I've dined at a few Nandos, the branch opposite East Croydon station was the best ever. We were seated by Felix, his customer service was superb always checking we were ok, with a smile very pleasant with all customers. I had a huge mushroom halloumi pita the biggest I've ever had with peri chips and humus with soft pita as a side. Restaurant was clean, great music, commented by another table as it reminded them of South Africa. The bouncer was lovely too, would definitely come again, well done to all for a great dining experience.

Hard to find a restaurant in Croydon sometimes even with Boxpark!! Service is fair and decor ok. Clean enough and food average.

The manager, who is a young lady with glasses has no manners at all, first she gave a table to a group who was after us and when i complaint she did not even apologise!!! So disrespectful and she should learn manners

I visited Nando's on a Wednesday night with some work colleagues I had the Sunset Burger with Peri Fries & Garlic Bread it was as always fantastic.

Entrance busy and difficult to order with people standing around waiting for take outs. Chicken too greasy. Ordered a starter but they'd brought main meal first. Couldn't think of any reason ever to go to Nando's again.

Very busy branch. Usually you will have to wait 10-20min, BUT the service is fantastic! Also the quality of food is always good and the restaurant is always clean. Worth to visit!

The last time I attended Nando's I was very disappointed the food was greasy and staff were rude at the time not wanting to offer to re-cook the chicken.

Arrived and placed our orders. Two nearby tables who arrived more than a quarter of an hour after us were served, but not us. We raised this, and then got our food. Feeble excuse that they got the orders mixed up: I mean, how difficult can it be when the orders have the table number on them? As usual, the cheap drinks taste cheap (ugh!) and the others are outrageously expensive. Oh, and we had to ask twice for some takeaway boxes. Not impressed.

Love this restaurant for a quick bite to eat, never had a bad meal. Always quick and friendly service.

I have been going to Nando’s for many years now, we have two in the Croydon area , today I was at high street Croydon one with my daughter .

The overall quality of the Nandos chicken was somewhat poor and felt the food was rushed out within minutes. Not impressed with the quality at all and wanted to write an honest review. Although many people would not care too much about reviews as people nowdays are not bothered about reviews these days.

This is a good nandos compaired to some, staff were helpful, food was cooked properly, it is well lit.

Wherever the Nando’s is, you can expect decent food, at a reliable standard. Croydon is regularly unpleasantly busy though, and service very slow

I absoloutely love Nando's and I recently came here for a late evening meal with my boyfriend. I had a glass of sparking wine which tasted amazing and my boyfriend had a cider. Both of our meals were really nice and we will definitely be coming back soon. We were completely full up and absolutely loved the meal.

What more would you expect the only thing I could say is maybe they should marinate the chicken more otherwise it’s amazing 😍

Took ages to order, but the food came quickly. Restaurant was busy that night - must be testament to the good food. It's great that there's a place to wash hands near the tables, especially after eating corn on the cob or perhaps chicken pieces.

The staff were very helpful in accommodating our preference and the meals were very satisfying. I recommend Nando’s for the hungry people. Give it a try!

After waiting almost 30 mins for a chicken pitta pocket I took my first mouthful and was confronted with a long stringy twisted hair I immediately spat it out and shoved it in a napkin . As I was starving I ate the rest of the meal and was violently sick 20 hours later .

Went here for fast food. Tasty chicken, rice and sweet potato chips with great spicy sauces. Nice cakes too.

Ate outside and really enjoy the atmosphere. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who took my order because he was really lovely; he was nice to talk to because he is Caribbean and so am I but he also made great recommendations for sides and drinks.

I have heard so many good things about this chain but because I am not a great fan of spicy food, I have always avoided it. However, on this occasion I was overruled - we went during lunchtime which was very busy but we didn't have to wait long for a table which was by the servers. I had the plainish chicken in pitta with chips which was cooked lovely, I also asked if I could have a bowl of cucumber rather than the salad and there was absolutely no issue with that strange request. The chicken still that little kick so I was thankful for my cucumber, and I would not be able to eat the Piri Piri or the really hot one. Considering I have avoided eating there because I felt it was too spicy I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely eat a Nando's again. Staff were friendly and well organised and helpful, there was a huge take-away queue but the wait didn't seem long for food. Overall lovely place and lovely food.

First time visiting and the greeter was amazed we had not eaten at a Nando's before.The menu is not very extensive... mainly just grilled chicken and the attraction seems to be to use the available spicy dressings to add to the food.We visited one evening and found the place dark and dirty. Lots of food droppings on the floor and our table was sticky did not appear clean. If we weren't tired and hungry, we would have left.The food was unremarkable and the chicken was lacking flavour... I guess that is where the hot sauce comes in. The guy on the next table was eating his food with his hands - not just the chicken, but his baked beans... everything! He hadn't bothered to get any cutlery!At 8:00 pm on a Thursday evening, the place was reasonably well occupied and very noisy. All in all, a forgettable meal and we won't be back there.

SO I have been dragged here many time by friends who seem to obses about it. But it is just grilled chicken with a very average sauce on it. there is also not much between them apart from the level of chilli.On top of this you have to get up and order yourself, get your own cutlery and condiments. Yes they bring it to your table but then you have to get your own drinks this is not a resturant, plus you pay extra for the privolige. Not for me at all just go somewhere where you get some form of service or go to a fast food place.

This Nandos is the smallest ive ever eaten at but it didnt change the quality of the food which was very good as with all Nandos ive eaten at so far. I would visit again but not on a hot day as I can imagine with how small it is here it could get quite uncomfortable!
