Great selection of cask ale and perfect atmosphere. My friend loved the cask cider that was on. Staff are cheerful bunch always happy to chat

Good food, great bar right under the room, everything was great, we can only recommend it.

Rather common selection of whiskey with no real soul. Not pleasant service at all and very high prices per glass for supermarket whiskeys. Next time we'll move on.

Went in for the 2 courses for £10 lunch menu and wasn’t expecting much but our doubts were absolutely blown out of the water. The food was amazing and so too was the service. Wife said the macaroni cheese was great and I honestly couldn’t fault the soup or the club sandwich. Star of the show was those salt and chilli chips. Absolute top tier. The server was great and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Went for lunch had chicken Caesar salad it was awful chunks of bland chicken soggy croutons and lettuce drenched in awful dressing far too salty and they charged £18 for it . Looking round none of the dishes looked appetising

The drinks were amazing but there are so many drinks and my family couldnt choose which ones. My sister chose the strawberries and cream frappe and she didnt like it, if only there were little samples of drinks you can try. 😂

I will dream about the cri pie for months. Went here after recommendations from my caddy and very happy I did. The staff were exceptional and paired me a pint of the house ale to go with my steak pie. Tip for you add some haggis to the pie what a combination. Absolutely no complaints this is everything a pub should be and more. Management should be proud of what they have achieved here. Great outdoor seating area which was sadly full to the brim but I enjoyed sitting in the bar chatting to other customers. Cracking place.
