Nice playpark for kids with various animals around. Cafe and farmshop well stocked with a variety of products. Cycle path goes all the way from dunfermline which is a bonus

Had a lovely carrot cake and decaf coffee. The coffee burnt my tongue a bit. Everything is locally sourced and many ingredients are from heritage breeds ie the carrots were purple. This means the price is a bit higher. We sat outside and it was a little windy. There are Lammas , chickens and other birds to watch outside and a good farm shop. Inside the tearoom is quite small.

Even though we had arrived late, lunch was officially closed - they pulled out all the stops and we ended up having one of the nicest lunches in a long time. I had chicken coronation - unlike any I've had, Ray, the owner, showed us how they did it - Herbs played a big part! My partner had cooked smoked salmon, again l've never seen it done like that before...delicious. rounded off, by my partner, with the biggest, knobliest scone I've ever seen. First time here, a few months ago, I wasn't impressed. New ownership - complete transformation. Highly recommend. FK Fife

I have bought bread here in the past and it was really nice...visited today and a notice said 'under new management', bought Rustic Rye bread at £4. Tried the bread this evening and it was tasteless absolutely devoid of any kind of flavour, just a hunk of dough! I feel as though I have been cheated out of my £4, went out of my way to get to this bakery, will not go out of my way ever again!

We arrived at 2pm and not much fruit/veg left although we left straight away due to the lack of hygiene. They keep the home bakes inside - bread, cakes etc. they are all sat out uncovered and there were flies and wasps flying about everywhere, crawling all over the produce. At some point they had bread out for dips. The bread was gone but loads of wasps were swimming about in the dipping bowls. Disgusting. The three members of staff chatting at the till couldn’t of cared less.

Not really impressed with this place, went with family for lunch hardly anything available on the menu once we got lunch ordered got a sandwich and sausage roll quite quick but had to wait 15 mins for the hotdogs then a further 15 mins for a baked potato not great everything coming out a different times. Very pricey got charged £5 for a kids sausage roll not worth that. Also bought fruit from the shop again overpriced with half of it going in the bin the next day as it was mouldy total waste of money need to address how the fruit it's store maybe would have helped (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries all mouldy even the grapes were mouldy)

Work still to be done here especially with a full coffee shop! A Family visit to the cafe on a rainy Sunday morning. We ordered 4 Coffee's & scones. We had eaten our scones & it required 2 reminders before we finally got all our coffees & our scones were eaten. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity for our kids to enjoy the play area or see the animals due to the heavy rain. The car park is well laid out. Not sure if we would rush back? Would really need to improve on service. Sorry but there are so many other good places nearby😞

We just found out about this place recently despite the fact they've been open a number of years! We paid a visit recently and spent " a fortune" as the produce is so good! We bought various types of bread, scones, marmalade, crumbles and eggs _ all of which have been delicious!! We froze some and they were also delicious after defrosting! We are now self isolated and unable to return in the near future but we wish there were home deliveries! We also had cake and coffee in the rustic cafe - also excellent!

Used to be a really good little place where you could pick up a whole range of fresh produce (fruit, veg, eggs, bread, coffee, etc.). Quality and selection of fruit and veg started to regress in late 2019 and they've now stopped selling fruit and veg altogether. A real pity as that was the main draw for me, so much so that I've not been back since.

You can buy a great coffee here, but Woodlea is a beacon of excellence in a pretty dire Scottish food scene. It isn't a restuarant, but a retail outlet for fruit, veg, craft beer, delicious eggs (always in short supply), and a great range of artisan breads: sourdoughs, superb crusty baguettes the equal of any in la France profonde, delicious rolls, focaccia... delicious and very adult cakes, scones, and flapjacks too. Proof of their excellence is the huge number of cars that roll up when they are open (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). In Edinburgh or Fife? They are well worth gvisiting to find bread that is so much better than anything from a supermarket.

My wonderful partner introduced me to this location last year. We have visited many times. It has been inspirational seeing the development at Woodlea. Hats off to the people at Woodlea selling awesome locally brewed beer, fresh, fresh fruit and veg. Uses mostly paper bags, good value for money. Super baked goods, and despite drinking coffee at a variety of locations around the world, this place has the best tasting coffee on Earth. Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Get there now.

I love their bread and baked goods. I visit every week for bread and fresh veg. Also sells other items like flour, honey, vegan chocolate. Get a coffee in the cozy coffee house after your shop. Go early as they could sell out of popular items.

Bought a great double espresso and slice of lemon cake as a takeaway option. Always good service and the staff are very friendly. I try to stop here when I can on my way to or from Perth. The Lemon cake was lovely with just the right amount of icing and had a sweet tangy lemon jam in a delicious sponge.
