Se detuvo en la calle. John’s para ver su Mercado de Navidad luego bajó a su Café. Maravilloso ambiente acogedor en el sótano de una Iglesia muy antigua e interesante. Disfrutamos del té y un excelente dulce. También sirven almuerzos. Personal muy amable y precios razonables. Asientos al aire libre disponibles. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

He disfrutado del almuerzo aquí y pensé en parar a tomar un café. El Americano era pequeño, muy débil y no particularmente caliente. Cobrar más de 3 libras por eso es rapaz. El servicio es excelente de ahí las dos estrellas.

Acogedor café, perfecto para un almuerzo ligero en un entorno de piedra vieja detrás de la iglesia - deliciosa selección de pasteles también! También lejos del sendero turístico

Este fue un gran hallazgo, ya que fue una alegría sentarse fuera en este lugar encantador, disfrutando del sol lejos de las calles concurridas. Servicio alegre y buena gama de comida de café.

Fui con un amigo y pedí dos cafés un rollo de tocino y un bollo de queso - cobró £ 17 que parecía un poco empinado. Como mi amigo ya estaba sentado y era mi regalo pagó el dinero. Cuando llegaron mis amigos el rollo de tocino tenía más grasa que carne, mi bollo no era nada especial. Solía venir mucho a este pequeño café y la comida era buena y razonable, no volveré!

Usually get drink, breakfast roll or lunch after meeting and variable service but this visit insured will not be back and will join friends at other venues after use of church. Although do have issue with this not being safe space for disabilities. Essentially friend had ordered food. Quiche and Salad. Food arrived with wrong salads. Friend upset and disabled so was anxious, but stopped waitress and explained delivered wrong salads (he didnt like the ones they delivered and so couldnt eat). Waitress was polite. Then person came over and slammed plate down and said, :Well you got two free meals on house.' Friend very upset. Order was wrong, edible and therefore not free. Friend was angry and upset and wanted apology. I went to counter and waited, asked waitress if I could speak to the person who came over to table. Turns out was manager! I stood on edge of space, he stood very close to me, I had to keep standing back. I stated I knew they were busy but the aggression with which he put down plate and what he said was rude etc and inaccurate. He was incredibly angry. denied he was in my space, shouted it wasnt him that made the mistake and what was the problem it was another free salad then said it wasnt my issue anyway and so he would talk to my 'husband' as he didnt have to speak to me. he told us 'we werent normal', which was appalling. Friend was very distressed and stammering, said it was wrong order etc so not free etc. Manager was very rude. Did not care that we used the church etc. said this was his space etc and any complaints he would ignore. Friend said he was so angry and upset and also it was his choice that I spoke for him and that felt the manager didnt even think why this was, but it shouldnt have mattered, I agree. Wanted a refund and I was distressed to have that much aggression when a simple replace dish. Its based in the church building but doesnt have its values. Churches should be safe spaces but this cafe although there is obviously not. As an aside my child told me later same manager had refused to refund after had been assured food nut safe and an adult friend had to get refund, apparently was rude as well, so must be his form. Do not go if at all vulnerable, I have asked church if we can exit next time via church rather than cafe. Horrendous. A simple apology would have done. The issue was actually not the mistake, mistakes happen but the aggression and attitude of the manager.

It was a great cafe located at the centre of the city. The food was very good, better than what I had expected. What stood out to me the most was the service. Everyone had a smile on their faces and were very helpful. Great experience!! Highly recommend it :)

Great service and food! Bread delicious.had lunch here and flavours were very good. Added bonus that it was dog friendly.

Coffee was good. Bacon & egg roll was super and really hit the spot. Service was good and we were able to sit outside in the sun in this quit have net to Princess Street.

We didn't get to try the food, tho the cakes looked very nice and the salads interesting if not a bit tired and fruit heavy. Not every salad likes a dried cranberry or a nectarine... but the main problem was complete incompetence on the part of the staff. They were kind and friendly but saw me waiting for fifteen minutes at the counter and didn't alert me to order at the till three feet away . Then, after I recited a long order and they punched it in, they told me they weren't accepting card payments. Yes there were small signs - I hadn't noticed - but I was the only person there ha and someone should have told me straight away I was in the wrong place and that they only took cash. By the time I was told I'd have to come back and place my order again once I had cash because the till would have to be erased (why couldn't they remember the order it wasn't that long?) I decided to go to Pret. It's a great location but by golly were they not good wait staff/ servers! They'll no doubt improve. It was as of they'd hired the least naturally inclined to be wait staff they could find. We are not all natural servers! But yeah. Anyway. Maybe the food is great I'll never know :/... the oat cookie with coffee cream looked amazing. Sigh.

Lovely salads, quiches etc, and nice home-baking. However the staff, would in my humble opinion benefit from further training, and could be a wee bit more friendly. Don't order here if you are in a hurry!

Very slow service, Lots of smokers in the outside area. Staff not very professional and hygiene a bit of an issue.

Basic,tasty,good value meals ,snacks and drinks. Pleasant environment by Princess Park. Seating inside and outside.
