Popped in for dinner and had amazing steak frites and sticky toffee pudding. Food all arrived pretty quickly and was great quality. Well worth the visit if you are in Oban.

Visited this very busy shop about 3pm and although the lady making the coffees was very nice, the coffee was horrible to taste. Probably too much time being spent on festive beverages but a latte from Costa should never taste this bad. The only one making coffee, the other staff either learning other tasks or floating around when they could assist with cleaning the workstation and tables. A huge disappointment when the coffee isn't cheap.

Great little boozer, nice friendly staff

Visited here for a relaxing spot of lunch with a pint. However, I noticed a group of people vaping at the table opposite me. They continued as staff were mopping up under their table after a few drinks got knocked over. Yet, the staff said nothing! I then asked a young man, who brought the food to my table, if vaping was permitted in the pub. He said it wasn't, so I suggested he tell this to the table of which I was pointing to. He just looked over at them and then walked away. When I had ordered my meal, I opted for the larger size madras for just an extra £1.40. It arrived rather quickly and was quite nice but it came without the chutney which is supposed to accompany the dish. This is usually a real nice Spoons but I'm disappointed with the experience on this occasion.

Nota : recensisco l'albergo . Il ristorante non e' piu' attivo . L'hotel e' proprio difronte alla baia . Bello se si ha una finestra che si affaccia sull'acqua . Le camere sono abbastanza piccole ma curate e pulite . Poca possibilita' di parcheggio nei paraggi .

If you like confusion at the bar, woken up with room service for another room, dogs barking late at night in adjacent rooms and then alarms going off at 0230, it's great. Complain to reception and nothing can be done. Not for me and NEVER AGAIN!

Fantastic home made food. Great portion sizes and service from 2 young professional waitresses. Odd that every table was reserved but they found us a table in the bar area. Head on down you won't be disappointed.
