I am a bit confused about this establishment. I’ve been so looking forward to visiting so I brought a friend from Ayrshire after a long country walk in the area. We worked up an appetite and at 4.30pm pulled in to order. The opening times state 6pm close. After ordering a burger we were told that the ovens were off. As an alternative we requested a toastie. Again this was declined as “the toastie oven” was also off (???) All we could order was a coffee so declined. Unreliable hospitality venue best avoided. Save your money for a customer focussed venue.

Lovely, friendly staff at St Mocha’s at Carbeth! We were very happy with our fancy hot chocolates after our walk up The Whangie on Saturday and Rocky loved his puppachino

Have passed a few times but decided to stop for a mich needed cup of tea on way back from Glasgow. Glad we did! Lovely friendly welcome from 2 young ladies. We only tea and coffee as we were only half an hour from home but there was a super selection of lovely looking cakes as well as Scottish tablet which I think overseas visitors will love. Surprised to see there was quite a wide abd varied menu with tiasties and filled rolls. Loved the mutt menu for dogs too. What a great idea! Lots of parking as well drive thru facility. I would recommend you take the time and stop though. There is lots of outdoor seating with fabulous views regardless of the weather. You can even sit in the vintage bus like we did although today it was to get a little shade!!!!

I live locally and visit regularly because they have a good selection of vegan options. Vegan Lorn sausage bap, sausage roll, vegan cheeseburger etc. and a good selection of plant based milks (my favourite coconut latte too). Prices are very reasonable and service is excellent.

What a brilliant wee place to have on our doorstep. Cakes in particular are spectacular but there's a wide menu for everyone!

Open and very public space. Very pleasant staff all local girls. Pity about the loud foul language of some customers.

Like everyone else had coffee and left with a 100£ "parking notice" :))) no way to keep business. Will not be back and will stray others away.

Lovely cafe with amazing home made food and cakes. The steak sandwich was cooked to perfection and the Mac and cheese was delicious. So much so for young kids and the added bonus of a large dog field for walkers etc. will definitely be back

I ordered the venison burger, it was really awful. If one part of the meal was not good i would of mentioned it and given them the chance to sort it. But due to so many parts of the meal being really bad it made more sense to write a bad review. The food was what the food was. Chips were sickly pale and undercooked, onion rings were undercooked in oil not hot enough leaving it thick and soaked through the batter, oil was also not clean, it had black bits throughout. The burger bun was dry and freezer burned, either stale or hard at edges from being microwaved. The venison burger had been frozen and defrosted in the microwave, but too long in the microwave so it was dry and solid like a hockey puck. The woman at the bar was not particularly friendly either, not the younger girl, the older one. We spend £45 in there, we were extremely hungry from climbing so we ate it all but it really really was terrible and just to fill a hole.

Stayed for 1 night recently, lovely hotel with super friendly staff - they all made a great effort with our dog, making us feel really welcome. Room overlooked the loch, only criticism would be that the rooms could do with a refurb, but the rest of the hotel that we’d seen was really well presented. We will be back 👍🏻
