Muffin break, stirling in Stirling

We have breakfast here many times. Food good, plenty of choices, cakes & muffins delicious and service is good.

My son Adam and I are regular customers at Muffin Break in the Thistle Centre. Adam is severely autistic and really enjoys his food, however, it is often difficult to find a place to eat where you can feel totally relaxed. A person with autism often has difficulty understanding the outside world which can lead to what is perceived as antisocial behaviour. The reason we frequent Muffin Break is that the staff (and in particular Hazel) are so friendly and make allowances for Adam, ie, giving him time to ask for his favourite thing, which happens to be Mud Cake! Even though the slices of cake are identical in size, Adam spends a bit of time deliberating which slice he'd like and the staff are happy to wait for his selection - they even warm it up for him! Fantastic service. I honestly couldn't fault the place. Five stars from us!

Chicken tikka flatbread was really nice. And the chocolate crispy is also really nice.

Breakfast wasn't very good bacon wasn't very nice eggs same my friend and I are pensioners and were looking forward to having a nice breakfast disappointed.

Came in and got 2 sausage rolls not only extremely expensive but also inedible falling apart and soggy the lady behind the till was very much unhelpful to my enquiry on what they have available extremely disappointed

Been told when ordering coffee to take away if there is a coffee that is a different milk then I’ve to write it down on a bit of paper and hand it over as they apparently get mixed up …. I don’t think Starbucks would have this issue I was honestly baffled by this we had only ordered 3 coffees so don’t understand what the confusion was and unsure if they have a note pad or pen to help them out when taking orders

Called in for coffee and just sat and watched this super team deal with all aspects presented to them by customers. Sean, Jade, Heather, Lisa and Nicole. All are great ambassadors for the company. They were so friendly and attentive during our visit. Will be back for sure.

Wee lunch stop with fresh sandwich and cake. Coffee was really good to.

I ordered the classic breakfast and pot of tea. It was very quiet. Tables were clean and staff were pleasant, so I thought. I ordered just after 9am so thought a nice fresh breakfast would appear. However, the beans looked like they had been the day before's reheats served in a 2oz pot. The bacon could have been made into the soles of shoes. The eggs were hard. The tomato, covered in oregano. The sausages were nice. The toast also looked nice but I never tried, due to the lack of butter. On my departure the staff member was on their phone and barely noticed I was leaving until I thanked them and said goodbye. It might be in a prime location in the shopping centre but does not offer prime service or food

As usual great service. I haven't yet found a place in Scotland where the staff have been anything but a delight.

Why would anybody have breakfast here when there ad board shows raw eggs??

This is a regular style coffy stop, decent food and coffee but all the unoccupied tables had dirty cups etc on them. We cleared a table as no one came or offered to clean it. A shame really, as it would be an ok place.

Visiting Sterling from France, at last a cafe that understands Coffee! No silly gimmicks, just great coffee and cake with excellent service.

Really nice food and the coffee was grand. The lock on the toilet door was pretty precarious and made for an edgy visit to the throne-room.

Lovely staff and great selection of beautiful cakes for a treat with a coffee. I took the recommendation of a biscoff duffin and it was absolutely gorgeous esp heated up. Wouldn't go too often, but great for a wee treat

We are concerned about the labelling of allergens on the menu (or staff understanding of allergens in ingredients). When we visited your store today we were surprised to be informed that your milkshakes cannot be made vegan in spite of the menu clearly stating that they offer them as vegan options. We were lucky that in this case the member of staff working at the counter was aware of the ingredients otherwise we would have been very unwell thanks to a milk intolerance. This is not the first occasion that we have had problems with the labelling of products in this store. In the past we have been informed by staff food items that are labelled as vegan in fact contain milk. There is either a problem with your labelling, or with staff training.

Really concerned about the lack of food allergy knowledge and signage. Issues on multiple visits...in one case the staff couldn't confirm ingredients in vegan muffins (ie staff thought it contained dairy milk). On another visit the signage stated vegan milkshake but staff confirmed it is made with ice cream that includes dairy milk (caught just by chance). Staff need educated and menu signs need correction before someone is made very unwell.

Is a perfect café, it has a lot of desserts, coffees, milkshakes... I recommend it to have a snack or to have breakfast.

Coffee was nice but the sandwiches we got were soggy and no sell by date on them

£2.70 for an unfulfilling sausage roll. Service was rushed and toilets were in poor condition. Environment was not relaxed. Do not recommend.

Great coffee but let down on their milkshake range just now. Had a peanut butter shake just a flavoured glass of milk over priced to.

Lovely little coffee shop, spent a lovely hour having a coffee and a cake, handy wee place for a pitstop. 5/5.

Just stopped for a lunch break.

The que was not big and the cafe was far from busy yet we waited 20mins to be served. It was like watching organised choas as one member of the team attempted to serve everyone while the other memeber of staff cleared tables watching the other struggle. If it wasn't for my daughter wanting red velvet cake we would like many others left. I eventually intervened and suggested to the person watching that perhaps they help their college serving. Coffee was to the usual standard but my daughters cake was not and was dried out. Perhaps it had been waiting all day too. Shame but avoid if you see a que as it will not clear!!!

This was my first visit to a Muffin Break so wasn't sure what was available, i.e. just hot n cold drinks, cakes, pastries, or toasties, paninis, pancakes etc. The staff member was trying to take my order in the doorway while I was still using the NHS check in, and we immediately felt rushed - no time to properly look at the options. I could see a picture of pancakes and a traybake/cake display cabinet, so I asked what options were available for the pancakes and ordered some coffees which were ready to collect by the time I got to the till. Still have no clue if other foods available! The pancakes and coffees were ok, but felt rushed throughout and it wasn't particularly busy.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Lots of seating. Nice flat white coffee and nice carrot cake. Both staff insisted to help me with my tray which was very helpful. Nothing else required. It merits to be busy.

Dropped in Mid morning for Brunch my partner had a toasted croissant and I had a freshly made tuns sandwich very tasty with really good lattes . Staff were friendly and helpful

Ordered 2 Lattes that came in them “bowl” type cups after asking for glasses, not the best the coffee if I’m honest but passable. I cleaned the table myself as it was dirty wouldn’t mind if it was busy but it was not. Ordered a Baby-chino for my son which was froth, no milk at all, just a tiny cup of froth, my wife asked for some milk where the barrister lady told us that baby-chinos are just froth….. I suggest you retrain. Cakes were mediocre and prices very overpriced.

Had breakfast here,my husband had filled ciabatta with coffee while I had pancakes with banana & caramel sauce which was amazing,washed down with tea. Would definitely recommend them.

Muffin break is my favourite place to stop and refuel, always friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Food is preprepared and nice. Coffee is excellent. Set up well for covid safety. Recommended

Lovely café. Located in central part of town centre within shopping mall Great, behind Debenhams. Great selection of toasties, scones, muffins etc. Teas, coffees, various cold drinks. I enjoy latte. Everything tastes good. Staff friendly and really helpful too.

Asked if I could have a coffee with soya milk as in allergic to dairy , no problem I was told ,thought coffee was a bit strong but drank it anyway , just managed home in time for toilet could have been disaster, no way was my coffee made with soya , won’t be back shocking ,

Coffee was good and bacon and brie panini decent. They really need to put more cheese on their toasties though, wasn't enough there to feed a mouse.
