飛行機に乗る前に少し食べておこうと入りました。ハンバーガーは、ハンバーグを焼いて野菜を挟んだだけのものです。ケチャップはあったけどマスタードはおいてありません。食事をしている人は他にはいませんでした。

Certainly been to worse places, but the food is a bit bland. We had slightly too salty home made soup and a very disappointing mozerella panini with no taste whatsover. Home made cakes looked decent enough, but most patrons seem to veer towards burgers and chips. It's that kind of place.

Having visited the outstanding airport cafe on Barra it was unlikely anywhere else would come close, but Amber served us very well, and cheerfully. Cake selection limited but tasty. On a good day you can sit outside.

One of our favourite places to go for lunch. The skinny fries are the best on Islay (or anywhere else come to think of it) when the specials are lentil soup, donar wrap or chicken pakora burger - I must either over indulge or struggle to pick one! Linda & her team are very friendly & make for a warm welcome. If you’ve not yet been, then go!

Had some soup, Cajun chicken salad and scone with coffee. All good grub and kept me in working shape, maybe the scone could have done with a wee blast in the microwave for ten aeconds to soft it a touch but can’t fault the soup and the Cajun chicken salad was tasty!

This is the cafe in Islay Airport, and like many Highlands & Islands airports the cafe is open for anyone to visit, ie you don't have to be flying. The food is reasonable and the prices aren't bad, but we were disappointed that they don't offer hot / cooked food on Sundays; instead they just have cakes, coffees etc and soft drinks available. Sunday opening times are restricted to around scheduled flight times, but it's open for longer hours the rest of the week.

The café is spotlessly clean and very pleasant. The staff are helpful and friendly, the food is good and we didn't have long to wait.

We stopped here on a cold and very windy day. Cafe is a bit small, but the cakes are scrumptious and the hot chocolate was perfectly chocolatey, delicious and warming which was just what was needed. Coffee and tea also was great. The two ladies who run the cafe are lovely and bake some really delicious treats. They have a small shop too full of pretty stuff. Will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Inveraray.

I recently stayed at the Ardencaple Hotel, and while the location is great, the overall experience left much to be desired. The biggest letdown was the service—it felt disorganized, and the staff, though polite, seemed either overworked or inattentive. Requests took far too long to be addressed, and there was a general lack of attentiveness that made the stay less enjoyable. The hotel itself is in desperate need of renovations. The rooms are outdated, with worn furniture, tired-looking carpets, and bathrooms that have clearly seen better days. Even the common areas feel neglected, with peeling paint and a general sense that the place hasn’t been properly maintained in years. What could be a charming and cozy hotel instead feels run-down and in need of serious investment. It’s a shame because the setting has a lot of potential, but until they make some much-needed upgrades and improve the service, I wouldn’t rush back.

Brilliant. I had one of the best rib eye steaks I've ever had from here. Friendly staff and the view from the balcony is top class one of my favourite places i have sat to enjoy a drink.

A bit tired, but nice helpful staff. Food wasn't so good for us. Very cramped and limited parking.
