A good cafe for snacks, and lunch. Plenty parking.

Its good could do better in some areas, like try to bring back pay by cash, serve drinks at a affordable price and bring back the good DJ atmosphere with Craig Kelman, those were the good days.

Always a favourite place for lunch or coffee. Food is delicious. Dog friendly and the staff are always friendly. Although it's not called Sonas cafe anymore.

Had lunch here with a friend on Friday and it was beautiful. We both had the lunch 3 course offer and it did not disappoint. It was good enough portions. Loved the pate and fish was so good. 😊 Will definitely be back here again.

Great food and perfect for families. The staff were all very friendly, and in particular, Ben was extremely helpful and attentive. Would definitely come back.

Pedí el desayuno escocés un café y un té. Mi café era mediocre en el mejor de los casos, mi esposa dijo que su té negro era decepcionante. Cuando llegó el desayuno escocés me di cuenta mirándolo estaba hecho con microondas. Los huevos y la salchicha eran duros y masticables, estoy bastante seguro de que la salchicha ni siquiera era carne que era tan malo! Tuvimos un par de pedazos y salimos y desayunamos en otro lugar. No vayas aquí decepcionante ni siquiera por una trampa turística. No comestible

Me encanta que este sea mi nombre! Y que Escocia es mi herencia. Por lo tanto, fue bueno visitarlo después de escucharlo durante 6 años. Tengo la camiseta. Me dieron una tapa doble - estante como es mi nombre! Lugar divertido.

Me gusta visitar aquí, sentarme afuera con mi perrito con un café. Increíble vino, comida y tarjetas peculiares y regalos para el hogar, incluyendo velas encantadoras. A menudo me llevan lejos también. Tan acogedor por dentro : ) x

Discovered after ordering that you don’t provide chocolate for top of cappuccino…..despite selling chocolate in containers! A cappuccino is not a cappuccino without chocolate sprinkles.

Food was freezing upon delivery

Unfortunately a big downgrade from 2022 to 2024. Stayed here in March 2022 and back then this would have been an easy 5 out of 5 for the food (had multiple breakfasts and dinners here) and the rooms were good as well. I returned twice after this and compared to my first stay the food quality and portion size has gone down considerably and from what I could see room prices went up as well. Made some good memories here but won't return. #sadface

Pre booked a table for a group of friends day out. £10 deposit for this which comes off any drinks ordered. Place has a good vibe. But beware, the bar is very busy with no table service unless you’ve booked the Boozy Brunch.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid this place like the plague. Ordered three drinks and they served me one and then I was left waiting over half an hour for another one. When I was served my pink lemonade it was undrinkable. I then asked for a peach ice tea which they then took another twenty minutes to make. Toilets look like something from a horror film, obviously hasn't been cleaned in days?! How this place is still open is beyond me. Staff are useless, slow and clueless.

Rotten, waste of money, stuff was binned. Don't recommend at all
