The Innes bar may be very out of the way, but it's certainly worth going out your way for, the food in here is absolutely incredible.
On our table we had multiple burgers, all got glowing reviews and they looked incredible. Mac n cheese was ordered and again, fantastic delivery.
Fish and chips scored great, I personally had the home made chicken, bacon and leek pie, and it did not in any way disappoint, fantastic presentation and the flavours were out of this world. Cannot recommend the Innes bar well enough. The staff get rushed off their feet and forget things sometimes but since they were catering to a larger table I cannot hold that against them.
If you are looking for a cheerful high quality and reasonably priced meal I cannot recommend the Innes bar enough.
As a Thai student living in Glasgow, I am always on the lookout for authentic Thai food that reminds me of home. I recently visited The Thai Restaurant, and I was truly impressed by the quality, authenticity, and passion that go into their dishes.
From the moment I stepped in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home. The flavors in every dish were perfectly balanced, just like in Thailand—fragrant, fresh, and full of depth. The ingredients were clearly of high quality, and the level of spice was spot on, staying true to Thai cuisine rather than being overly adjusted for Western tastes.
Beyond the food, I really appreciated their commitment to eco-friendly practices. Whether it’s through sustainable packaging, minimal waste, or responsible sourcing of ingredients, it’s clear that they care not just about their customers but also about the environment.
If you’re looking for an authentic Thai dining experience in Glasgow, this is the place to go. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real Thai flavors and appreciates food made with passion and care!
Perfect evening and Gabriel was so welcoming. I popped in earlier in the day, had a chat and booked a table.
The food was delicious and so authentic. It is a small venue and all the diners were socialising with other groups.
A unique restaurant.
Gabriel - sorry I have taken so long to post this....it was in my drafts. My son is coming over at Easter and I have told him not to miss dining with you.
Amazing food, great service. Our table took over nearly half the restaurant and the server couldn’t have been more welcoming! Cosy little venue and wonderful pizzas! Looks like the also offer takeaway.
Broke our journey to grab a hot takeaway drink.
Great coffee (latte), at a very reasonable price, served by a young lady who was very pleasant.
Next time we are driving through Carnwath, we will be trying the cafe attached to the shop, to sample some of the delicious looking cakes and savouries which were on display.
Fantastic decor, lovely staff but the star of the show was the excellent food.
Had the braised peas, roasted tomatoes and goats cheese. All tremendous paired with a lovely bottle of wine. The bread too just topped an absolutely fantastic evening.
Thanks Sylvan and sorry my picture doesn’t do the food justice!!
