The best restaurants in Scotland

This Spanish Tapas restaurant is as authentic as you will find anywhere , granted there are a few across the Uk but the St Vincent place restaurant really has a little piece of Spain in Glasgow . The decor brings that home alone to the diners . The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff add to the magnificent Spanish dishes on the plate . Such a range of vegetarian, meat and fish there is something for everyone and it’s a must on my round of restaurant list ….you won’t be disappointed a visit is a high recommended must do !

A very nice Thai lunch from the fixed menu. Draught Singha beer is good, I could half a half and husband could have a pint. Not a large restaurant, so best to book. We'll be back.

Ordered the chicken ramen and a vegetarian tonkotsu - both gorgeous. Massive portions, well worth the money.

What an awesome venue - someone described as a "wee bit small" - hell yeah - that's the beauty of it - great sound, great gigs, great staff behind the bar - get in to the gig area early or risk being behind a 6ft nutter waving their arms about in a frenzy - but get to the front and whoa - you are shaking hands with the star of the evening - soooooo personal its freakish but like in a great way. We saw David McAlmont & Hifi Sean and frankly I now feel like I know them both - we were practically on stage. And here's the real crazy bit - the venue doesn't rip you off - we were £18 each to see a global megastar!!!! AWESOME.

Wow this is the most beautiful Chinese. The food is beautiful, well presented, fresh & flavoursome. The service was professional and very knowledgeable, as one if our party was Vegan. They adapted dishes that weren’t on the menu to Vegan for us. Portion sizes meant we came back with a takeaway too! The house wine was a good quality and the selection of other drinks was excellent. We will be back❤️

Went to hotel for a meal with friends. Really enjoyed the food, good atmosphere, service was very good considering it was busy.

Great spot to visit if you have any connection to the military or an interest in some history !

Not too much option for breakfast , I hope they make improvement for that , the coffee was nice

Popped in recently for lunch , and I was not disappointed, the food was delicious Had the Fish Goujons and chips Followed by a stick toffee pudding Which is all made from scratch (no frozen food here) Staff were friendly and attentive A hidden wee gem, that you simply must experience for yourself

Brodies is the reason that we come to Moffat! We regularly travel from the Midlands to the Scottish Highlands and Moffat is the perfect stop over. Danni and her family at Brodies provide superb food in a wonderful ambiance. Thank you again for another delicious evening.

This place serves the best French food in Edinburgh! The beef tartare alone will keep you coming back. Everything on the menu is wonderful. As for the service, Sophie and Lauren couldn’t be any better. So professional and friendly. I simply can’t wait to go back.

Vinimos aqui por las referencias en tripadvisor y fue un acierto total. Totalmente recomendable para aquellos que quieran desayunar tipo tostada con huevo frito, poche o recuelto, aguacate, salchichas, bacon…etc Se nota calidad de la materia prima. Tambien hacen brunchs, recomendacion el sitio no es muy grande y se llena rapido o ir nada mas que habran o hacer reserva por la web.

Food was 5 star quality, absolutely delicious. Kids portions where also adequate. Staff attentive and the food presentation was outstanding. Will definitely be back.
