Piece in Glasgow City

A hidden treasure !! What a find this place is. Only the 2nd time I’ve been & I’ve had the exact same thing twice. The New York Deli sandwich, OMG the flavours are outstanding. Perfectly prepared in front of you so entirely fresh. The flavours are subtle that nothing overpowers anything else from Horseradish, Gouda, Gerkin, pastrami and just the right amount of mayo. The staff are very friendly and have been different each time. My next time will be soon & I will have to go somewhere else on the menu. Looking forward to it !!

Treated myself to a payday lunch at ‘Piece’, recommended by two of my work colleagues. Situated on Miller Street which runs adjacent to Queen Street to the East, this is a cracker of a Sandwich shop. I’ve always found the exterior very inviting as well - the neon Red lighting draws you in. My eye was instantly directed towards the ‘Reuben’ and i’m glad I made the choice. Choosing a Ciabatta as the Sandwich type, it was packed with ingredients and a proper, bulky serving of Pastrami. The Sauerkraut was great and the Garlic Mayo / Mustard finished off what was overall, an enjoyable eat. At around £5 / £6 it wasn’t too much of a stretch on the bank balance. The staff were friendly and didn’t hold back on the filling. I’ll definitely be back again!

Bit of a queue but it moved pretty swiftly. Great menu with tempting choices for meat eaters and veggies alike. Very good value at about £6 for a baguette with lots of filling. Only thing was I found a wee piece of chicken in the Veggie Banh Mi (obviously by mistake) which I wasn’t bothered by but some may not be happy about cross contamination/allergies etc? But I cannot wait to go back. Definitely gonna try the cakes next time- they looked amazing!

Have heard loads about piece so popped in to check it out. Staff were polite and cheery, ingredients all tasted super fresh and sandwiches were very reasonably priced considering the sandwich was stuffed full!! Definitely recommend, will be back!

REFUSED ENTRY FOR BEING DISABLED. I walked into this store on Miller Street. The door was wide opened to let air into the shop and there was 2 other customers in the store. There was no mention of MAX CAPACITY. I am exempt from wearing a mask due to severe respiratory issues and I was wearing my badge to show this. The guy standing behind the counter who worked for piece didn’t even ask how i was. He abruptly shouted “please stand outside if you don’t have a mask”. I mentioned again I was exempt and he said ‘I’ll need you to stand outside and we’ll take your order’. The 2 customers looked at me as if I had a disease. Btw this is the second time I’ve been treated like this for being disabled. First time was at Finnieston. So I am assuming this discriminatory attitude is coming from the Top. I really hope this company reaps the fruits of it horrible approach to human beings. Tossing us out on the street. I’ll never be back and trust me I’ll be letting everyone know this is the faceless approach you take to vulnerable people already dealing with stigma and mental health issues due to the pandemic and virus. I’ll honestly say I didn’t eat in the place. So this review is based on treating humans like dogs by throwing them out on the street

Stumbled across this great coffee and sandwich shop. Freshly roasted coffee hand made sandwiches. Highly recommend

We both chose the coronation chicken on brown bread and weren’t disappointed, it was delicious with plenty of filling with fresh ingredients. Washed down with a good cup of Columbian coffee( they have a choice of beans). Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant as we’d not been before. Toilets ( or cludgie...) clean and well stocked. Good choice of fillings. Only have bar stools and high benches so might not suit everyone but they also do take away. .

Always a go to place for lunch. Great selection of sandwiches that I couldn’t honestly say which one is my favourite, they are all good. Staff are also very pleasant and if you are ever stuck on what to have ask them and go with their recommendation, you won’t be disappointed

What a super little sandwich shop. The place is Subway style except with fantastic ingredients. Service is outstanding with very happy people working there.

ci siamo passati casualmente davanti ed incuriositi dalla coda che arrivava fino al marciapiede abbiamo deciso di entrare.... ragazze gentilissime e super veloci a preparare qualsiasi fosse la scelta ma il bello/buono è arrivato quando abbiamo dato il primo morso ai due panini scelti.....wwwowwww....spaziali.... ogni sapore ed alimento erano in armonia fra loro....un vero e proprio piacere.... come se non bastasse il loro prezzo è stato davvero irrisorio...neppure £9..... SUPER CONSIGLIATO.....

This place is great!! The menu is fun and different from any other sandwich shop I have been to. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Sandwiches are very good value considering the quality and quantity of the fillings you receive. Well worth a visit!

If you're looking for a healthy and savory lunch, this is the place to come! Has several options, and you are also given the opportunity to tweak the ingredients. Fantastic homemade desserts as well.

This is for the two shops in Waterloo and West Regent Street. The sandwiches on offer are tremendous and I've yet to have a bad one after at least a dozen visits. It's hard to pick a favourite but the Easy Now is my current choice, there's something for everyone's tastes though. Great places. Staff are friendly and always chat while you wait.

Outstanding choice of filling which taste amazing. I have recently started working local to piece. It is now my new place to go for lunch. Excellent customer service and perfect food. What more could you want.

I decided I wanted a really nice sandwich, which is actually very hard to find. Thanks to an Internet search I found this little gem. I was disappointed at first because its takeaway only but I was mega impressed with my pastrami sandwich. I was making yum noises while eating it which is a good sign. Staff were friendly too. Highly recommended.

I was buying soup and asked if they had a website to see the day’s soups. Girl said: naw, you’ll just have to come in, but you’ll no get a sh*te soup here! Have been in every day since. She’s right. #loveglasgow

I don’t eat bread and they make every sandwich on the menu as a salad version. It’s always tasty, fresh and made with a smile. One of Glasgow’s little gems!

Usually need to queue but don't let that put you off as your wait will be rewarded. You need time anyway to choose from the great list. Recommendations are worth following (eg most suitable bread for a certain filling). Only time I actually enjoy buying...

A great lunch time sandwich takeaway shop. They have two versions of home made soup and a number of sandwiches to order on either baguettes/loafs. All made very quickly and given in a paper bag to eat at your leisure. Pleasant staff and quick service...

Fabulous take-away place who do amazing sandwiches, wraps, soups, cakes, tea and coffee. So much choice from their menu and you can ask for whatever you want and they'll make it for you. Highly recommended!

They do a good Ploughmans sandwich here! It's a little expensive but much better than Pret. They also take card payment which is a bonus, many smaller outlets are still cash only
