Had my first experience of this bar on Friday and I was very impressed. Walked in to log track and trace and could see the bar was very clean. It was a lovely evening so my friend and I decided to site outside. The staff are very friendly and attentive. A very drunk patron attempted to ruin our evening but this was stopped by the staff removing him from the premises. Prices are very reasonable and felt a very good atmosphere. I work just along the road from this bar so I will definitely be back.

We were in for a quick passing drink not long ago and ended up staying till closing time dont get me wrong its not an up to date pub but it has a lot of old quality s that i think makes the atmosphere that bit more friendly the prices are great and the staff are very friendly and helpful

We were omly in for a couple of drinks. The Rosevale was very quiet, maybe it was in the afternoon and it was mid-week. There was only one barmaid, who was very friendly and helpful. It would have been interesting to see what the atmosphere would have been like at the weekend

This is a nice no frills pub near the end of Dumbarton Road. It offers a good range of beers and whiskies and snacks such as nuts and crisp - no cooked food as far as I am aware. It is a friendly place that has most of the live Football matches from the Scottish and English Premierships and the Champions and Europa league games as well. Has a section as you come in to the left of the bar with pictures of Robert Burns that I have never seen before.

Visitante frecuente.

What a lovely way to start the day. My pal and I on a bit of a big cycle around Scotland, decided to stop here on a Wednesday morning, thanks to it being recommended by our waitress the night before. We locked up our bikes and headed over to naked soup dropping our heavy backpacker bags at a table before heading in to order. 1 confit caprese bagel 1 chicken and sun-dried tomato bagel 1 curried cauliflower soup 1 roast squash soup Absolutely stunning. The soups are super smooth and soul warming. The bagels are perfect accompaniments, dipping them into the soups to get this complete mouthful of flavours. This is not just a one time place to go and enjoy this is a spot to make your daily go to a part of your routine if you are a local. I'll be getting the train back up from London with the plans of stepping inside naked soup again. A place that understands having a small menu and perfecting each element. I tip my hat to you naked soup.

I have got to be totally honest here. The staff were absolutely fantastic 11/10 but the food was inedible. I mean really bad. The chicken burger although it was very big....was bad. Funny texture.....one of the worst I've had anywhere. The curry was very bland and watery. The steak pie thing was.....I actually doesn't know what to say......I'll stick to real...bad. Absolutely go for the alcohol as they do good offers and it's cheap. The staff honestly just couldn't have been better. Also brilliant with dogs. For food I just couldn't ever recommend.....so so soooooo unfortunate :( x
