The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Scotland

It was 5* but now with the table service takeaway materials it's 4* or 3*

Unfortunately they are closed because they have taken in the far away people. I do hope people remember this

I had a booking with yourself Tuesday 3rd april 4pm for Danni Beaton. For 5 people. 2 adults , 3 children. For the kids eat free deal. The service itself was absolutely perfect , really friendly and attentive. We had , Patriot burger £12.75 Buffalo burger £13.95 Two sides for £7.00 3x kids happy meals £7.75 each We had also ordered 3x cokes ( unsure how much they were) And i also had a 10% shares discount. The total bill has came to £65.85 , which seemed quite high? At the time of payment my 3 year old had just woken and not in the best of moods so I was a bit distracted, otherwise I wouldve been able to question there and then. I did try emailing the Inverurie branch, with no reply. And also via Instagram but have heard nothing back, apart from now an email asking how my time was at my booking. I know that the children eat free would only apply for 1 kid per paying adult So adding it all up we'd be paying for the Patriot, buffalo burger , 2 sides, one hoppy meal total £41.45 for food alone. Then whatever the cokes are, then the 10% off the final total. Just wondering if you'd be able to shed some light as I only have the receipt for my card payment , not bill with the items. Came here for a drink a couple of days ago and we were impressed with the friendly service, and the vegan options, so came back for dinner. Not disappointed - lovely food and lovely service.

Been here on multiple occasions and it's always been a great place for cheeky cocktails and good food. Came here recently and found our the menu had shrunk by a lot which was disappointing. The cocktails I loved where no longer available. The staff when we went were not very friendly and not approachable. Such a shame as it was a good place to go to. Won't be back.

The cafe section is just a basic Costa so many other better ones in the area. Plus the thing that put me off was the toilets omg it's bad the mens toilet seat is not fitted properly hanging off almost and yellow brown in colour as in never had a clean. Spider webs in the place plus my gf said the women 1 is the same with 1 stall out of order. And the toilets all the way down a dark basement that has one pic hanging to make you forget the bricks in distress with paint hanging off. Seriously you could use this in a horror movie.

We visited today and were honestly quite disappointed. There were three staff members behind the counter — one was cleaning, one was just standing in front of the till doing absolutely nothing, and only one person was actually making coffees and serving customers. Meanwhile, there were three more people waiting in the queue. We ended up standing there for 18 minutes just to get three coffees. When we asked the girl standing by the till why she wasn’t helping, she simply said, “I’m the supervisor. She’s the one who’ll make your coffees.” Honestly, it was frustrating to see such poor management and lack of efficiency.

The restaraunt has just opened as been taken over. Food was plentiful but one gripe was they brought out mains as I was still eating starters! Although they did offer to take mains back and keep heated I declined. Not sure why restaraunts do this, it makes you feel they are trying to rush your experience. My other half ordered chips but did not get them so we asked about them and were told they would bring some - never arrived! Drinks order was wrong also. I have to say that there were 2 working the floor and they only had about 4 tables in at any one time so maybe about 16 people so servicing should not be a problem. Hopefully they will improve as they probably rely on the seasonal trade.

Nice setting, one of the best looking cafes in the area. Coffee and cake had, all good. service a bit slow, which was apologised for, without a prompt from both of the staff. Items missing from the bill again, which I had to have added. That's the second different establishment in which I've had my honesty tested in the past few weeks. Heh, put the staff under a bit of pressure and mistakes are made. We will go back to see the garden later in the season. Gift shop staff member needs a rise, promoted a rare flowering plant in the glass house and went above and beyond on ensuring we saw it, thank you.

Overcharged for the meal deal. Didn't say anything. Food came. Watery and tasteless soup, and a sandwich that fell apart and still tasted like nothing. I politely asked for the food to be swapped. Had the lasagne instead - wouldn't eat it again. Left without complaining and said a friendly goodbye to the guy with long black hair who completely blanked me but looked right at me as I was walking out. The place needs a new owner with some vision and personality. Waste of time and money.

I must say, the food, coffee and service in this cafe is really good. Disappointing is the decor. I was in today, a was absolutely shocked to see the state of the place. It's filthy, looks grubby and needs a good coat of paint , plus a good deep clean.

The food and the service were both excellent and at a very reasonable price.

Was in earlier today, immediate impression was a bad one. For a start the (only) staff member there was indifferent and unfriendly. As a result I felt very uncomfortable and it was apparent this individual just didn't want to be there, or just didn't appreciate their customers. The place itself is a bit shabby and badly needs a makeover. Given that there's plenty of other cafes nearby, I would recommend people go elsewhere.
