Great place to have a meal with the family. Staff were great nothing was too much for them.

We found the drinks expensive. The food we ordered was terrible..sorry! Tough dry chicken goujons. Awful nachos with what looked like tomato ketchup. Cheap frozen chips and onion rings. Oh dear! Waste of money.

Order was placed for 15:30 delivery at 12:15. A paying customer is a paying customer whether it is a delivery or at a table in the restaurant especially when it is ordered 3hrs in advance

Order kept changing times by the time I got it, it was cold cheese on the top was very hard and chips and lasagna was cold, most of it went in the bin. I wouldn’t normally leave a bad review but I wasted my money.

Very tasty, but think I got someone else’s gougons as I didn’t order salad or mayo, I ordered sweet chilli sauce

Very tasty and hot but maybe take the sweet chilli sauce tub out before you microwave the chicken as the tub always melts and leaks all over the box.

Food was 1st class, best meal we've had in a long time. The girl behind the bar was 1st class too. Planning another visit.

Excellent menu and great service

We were staying in Dundee overnight and popped in here for dinner on Saturday night. What a lovely restaurant. The food was very good and the wines were also. The service was excellent and meals served with a smile. I would definitely go back. Thank you for everything

Food was fine, nothing to write home about. Servers were helpful and pleasant . Large selection of cocktails suitable for a girls night out. For the chaps, not so much, an average selection of beers. The main problem is the lack of atmosphere, fine for a quick lunch but there's nothing making me want to rush back.

I really didn't go here with any planning or preconceived opinion. I was starving and just thought " this will do me ". It will be like any other pub grub of this type. Nope. I was really impressed. You know what you are getting in most places. Microwave, deep fat frier and a bit of boring fresh salad. I genuinely think that this place, where it says on the menu, homemade. It actually is. They even give provenance to their meat source which is a quality Dundee butcher. I've been back since and had a delivery too. No complaints. Definitely at the higher end of good quality, well priced pub grub.

Staff really attentive friendly just what you would expect

This was 2nd visit to this restaurant and just as good as the first time. Our server was awesome!! Food was delicious and service was spot on. Was a Friday night but still managed to fit us in party of 6. Great choice of food on the menu and reasonably priced also. Good atmosphere as we could all have a conversation without loud music etc. would not hesitate to return.

This is my dad and I’s favourite spot for food. We always come midweek at night so it’s never too busy and the staff are so lovely. I always get the peppered steak melt as it’s my favourite and it never disappoints. Always recommending this place for the amount of options on the menu and the quality of the food.

A group of us had a lovely Christmas meal today. The staff were all amazing and the food was so nice. Unfortunately one of our group was so nasty to the supervisor who did an amazing job and kept her composure. I would like to apologise for this person's behaviour and say WELL DONE to the supervisor.👏👏👏👏 Most of us had the steak pie which was filled with tender steak and the rest had the turkey and said it was excellent. For the pudding the sticky toffee pudding was light and fluffy and to die for. The menu has a great choice too. The staff and chef are so friendly and we would like to come back (minus the obnoxious person) and have another great afternoon with great food and great staff.

Out on Saturday 9th December for a Christmas night out. We were greeted by very friendly bar staff and started our night out perfectly.

We had our work Xmas night out and had the meal at at medina. I had the 3 course Xmas menu and it was delicious and excellent value! Big portions and the turkey main meal was beautiful

Nice bar and restaurant on the Perth road. Stopped in last night for a works night out Xmas dinner. We had a three course meal for £25 which included a mimosa which was quite reasonable. Food was good, nothing amazing and nothing terrible. Kind of expect it with these sorts of Xmas dinners. Portions were quite generous. Everything was served fresh and hot. The bar staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Delivery was about 5 minutes before the latest time quoted, by a cheery and helpful young man. The food was as ordered (too much chips for me - but that's a personal thing); and tasted good. Who could ask for more?

Slight mix-up with booking times. Got fixed. Thoroughly enjoyed my scampi. Nice and quiet for a sat afternoon. Lovely atmosphere.

Always great food but on this occasion the steak was quite chewy

FOOD - so the starter was supposed to be nachos and chilli with salsa and cheese. To start with we waited over 30 minutes, there was nachos some salsa and cheese but about one table spoon of chilli so was disappointed. For main I had a chilli bean burger and chips, sadly the bun was burnt like charcoal and the burger was so dry I put 4 packets of sauce on it to try and help it as by this stage I was starving. My partner had a chicken burger and again it was so dry and burnt he could barely eat it. SERVICE - well the staff I don't think they had a clue about what they were doing they seemed to be following each other around all the time. The place wasn't even busy There weren't even 10 customers in there. The staff seemed like they didn't care at all. ATMOSPHERE - not good there seemed to be an awkward atmosphere the entire time I was there I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Shambles burnt food amd under cooked how convenient also out of code beverages

I visited the Medina bar and grill with some friends last night for some drinks and a bit of grub . I will get straight to the point, the " big mamma" burger was unbelievably underwhelming,the fact that it is one of the more expensive burgers on the menu I was expecting it to be of a fair size but nope. It was actually smaller than the standard beef burger which was a bit disappointing , Felt a tad ripped off to be honest. Other than that the staff where friendly and attentive.

Had the fish and chips, the batter was perfect👌nice and crispy and was served up piping hot, the way it should be. The Medina is not overpriced in their food or drink. Staff were great 😀 would definitely recommend.

Central location great choice of food from the extensive menu and the best selection of cocktails to choose from all served in good time and with a smile great evening only gripe was that it was very noisy

Ordered from here 3 times, first time was average but good enough to give it another go. Second and third time the food was amazing! Food was piping hot on arrival!

visited with family and friends and it did not disappoint. great choice of food for adults and kids. Reasonable prices and decent size portions. The kid had some mocktail with candyfloss and lemonade to pour over to melt the candyfloss which she loved!! Staff were polite and service was top class. Nothing was too much bother and staff went above and beyond to accommodate or requests. Would not hesitate to visit again.

Food was great, was piping hot, just what we needed tonight. Delivery time was poor, but was given the reason why on the app and constant updates, busy new year is not really a black mark against the restaurant. We will be back for sure. Good work all involved. 👍🏻

Steak cheese melt wasn’t as good as normal- chips came separate instead of under steak melt - usually love this dish but not as good as normal-

Steak and onion baguette was really good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Baguette was burnt black and not even a handful of chips for £10.95, the portion of chilli was considerably less than usual. Called to complain told to ask for refund :(

Prices decent, food tasty , served quick

Very quiet when we were in. Very good service, nice music playing in the background. The food was excellent, hot and well cooked.

Had lunch with my wife and sister and brother in law. The ambience was great and the food excellent. The member of staff who took our orders and generally dealt with us was excellent and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks on offer. Overall a very good dining experience.

Friday night. Date night. We decided to drift away from the chip shops and go for a sitty dooner. I got the Bangkok veggie burger (veggie patty in breadcrumbs), which came with salad and fries. The boyf got the Scottish Burger (beef patty, peppercorn sauce and haggis) with chips and salad. For a couple of sides we got onion rings and coleslaw. THE PLATES WERE HUGE! Which is fine by me cause I'd rather have loads of food than hardly any. I also had a few cocktails. Frozen Pina Colda (yum) Banana Martini (double yum) Bakewell (yum) As you can see the Banana Martini wins with the double yum. Both the boyf and I scoffed our burgers. They were delicious. The fries were really good too, crispy and fluffy. Atmosphere was nice. The bar wasn't too busy, but the dining area was. Really nice, friendly staff too. And prices aren't that extortionate. I was about £40 but that's cause I went on the cocktails. Was nice to come here for a wee change. Would definitely come here again. With, or without the boyf. No pictures of our meals/drinks. Sorry. Next time

Ordered the peppered chicken.. says comes with chips.. was no chips but loadsa rice, no that keen to n rice.. chicken was good but gutted no chips 🙈😭

We paid £30.75 for 3 macaroni and chips but all 3 boxes were filled mostly of chips and a small amount of macaroni in the corner of the boxes, most definitely not worth the money, will not be ordering again.

A day out in the fair city with a bite of lunch and a couple of drinks, very good food, great service and comfortable atmosphere.

We went in when it was empty and quite late but were able to have a few drinks. The staff (David and Sarah) were so lovely and made our night. Definitely will come back maybe when a bit busier :)

I got the macaroni which came only with garlic bread and salad. The food wasn't bad but it also wasn't good. Definitely not worth a tenner. The side salad was also full of wilted and brown salad leaves so it wasn't eaten.

Hot, lovely food would recommend to anyone great to have a takeaway actually do it’s job.

I can't fault the quality or taste of food at all but when your spending nearly 10 quid (£9 50) for a macaroni cheese i expect more than 6 fork fulls of the stuff! Like a past review said was like a kids portion. Doubt very much they would give you that if you were to go in restaurant so hardly think its acceptable just because you've ordered in!

Mac cheese was very dry and bland, was no extra cheese on top like previous order plus chips were under cooked & if im being picky bacon was bit under cooked and lot of fat on.. disappointing as previous orders have been very good

2nd time ordering from here this week, beautiful food would recommend to anyone, great customer service too, my new favourite takeout.

We ordered 2 steak pies chips and veg, loads of chunky beef, chips and veg, was surprised how much seemed to be hidden in the takeaway box. All well cooked, hot and tasty. Also ordered onion rings, they were amazing, really crispy fresh batter, again generous portion. Peppercorn sause tasty and hot. We also had cheescake and victoria sponge, both were lovely packaged separate from hot food. So nice to get proper grub delivered, most other pubs are only delivering pizza and burger so nice to have such a decent choice will definitely be ordering something else to try again.

Fantastic service, and the tastiest cocktails! Huge shout out to Sean, he was incredible and looked after us so well! He is the best! Also … Tom has the coolest hair!
