Service at the bar was good but the prices of drinks was bloody astronomical, glad we ate before coming to the airport. If ur feeding a family I would suggest a bank loan!!

Second visit here & was another amazing meal. We had the fish & chips, ‘boring’ burger & chips, maple & garlic siracha chicken gyros & southern poutine loaded fries. Everything was cooked well, tasted amazing, well presented & we didn’t wait long for food to arrive. Service was excellent, waitresses are lovely. Didn’t have any alcohol this time but cocktail menu looks amazing! Restaurant is really well decorated with lots of unique features & there was a great, buzzing atmosphere. Forgot to get photos of the food, was too excited to eat it!

While me and my friends were waiting on a delayed train at the nearby train station Waverly. We stopped into Mimis bakehouse and had a cup of coffee and some scones. They were some of the best i have ever had, and the coffee was exceptional as well. Me and my friends were thrilled with the quick and effective service offered by the staff. Will be returning!

The working lunch you provided was thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees. The selection of sandwiches and cakes went down well with a lovely addition of sausage rolls and pizza. A really good variety with all tastes catered for. I will certainly recommend yellow for future working lunches.

So lovely to find somewhere open at 8am on a cold November morning. Delicious bacon and egg roll in their homemade fresh bread roll. Very friendly and efficient staff. (If I could make one tiny comment, it would be to paint the cafe in a lovely dark, warm, colour to make it look more appealing on a cold winters day rather than the clinical cream shade).

Great menu, always busy so we usually book lunch in advance.5 Bean Chilli very good though a bit paltry re portion when served with baked potato.Better with the wild rice option.Tasty and spicy though. Shin of Beef was first class, melt in the mouth and great sauce. Fajitas were excellent too. Spaghetti Carbonara was tasteless, unfortunately, big disappointment hence a star taken off the review overall. Star off too as cakes are a bitmixed in quality - Meringue dessert was nice but very short on whipped cream and fruit; today's Black Forest Gateaux however, was very good indeed. Packaging up plastic portions of cake make them unappealing IMO. Lovely atmosphere and this place does really well for a local bistro - in fact more than well, their better dishes are good, truly homemade stuff. Chicken Noodle Soup of a few weeks ago was sensational but haven't seen it again on the menu for some months, sadly. Nice staff serving, very professional but friendly.

Visited 3 times in 5 days and probably spent more on coffee than we did on merchandise (and Tiso is an excellent shop by the way). Excellent coffee, lovely cake selection and a truly fantastic full English/Scottish breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. View to the Cairngorms outstanding and our doggy companions most welcome.

We really liked this wee cafe, it was full of locals, which is a good sign. Hubby had gluten free lentil soup, that he said was great. I had a very nice baked potato. The coffee was very good. Staff were really nice and welcoming. Loved the knitted cakes in the window.
