A lovely wee cafe. We ordered a chicken and pesto panini and the turkey bacon and waffles. Both were gorgeous. The staff were super friendly and the care itself is lovely.

Had a tuna baked potato, potato was hard, had no butter and the tuna tasted off and was mixed loads of watery mayo. Horrid. Serviced with a side salad inc extra bitter vinaigrette that I didn't ask for. Asked for Earl Grey tea and got horrible english breakfast tea. Was tempted to ask for my money back but opted to just never go back.

Visited both Icafes on Woodlands Road and Great Western Road and was impressed by both. My partner and I had a reservation for lunch elsewhere at 1pm but we had arrived in Glasgow early so decided to have a coffee before hand. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Apologetic for our wait as they were clearly shirt staffed. We then took out seats and waited for our coffees. 20 minutes later our coffees arrived. They were nice bute had to gulp them down even though we had plenty of time when we arrived. What was more irritating was that there was only one other customer at the counter after us - a man wanting a takeaway coffee. However he was served and received his coffee before our coffee was even made! Several of the tables needed to be cleaned which I appreciate as they were busy however my partner and I sat next to the kitchen and observed the chef use the exact same knife to cut meat, bread and vegetables. She also was not wearing gloves and whilst preparing food, was opening cupboards, carrying prepared food through to the cafe etc. No matter how busy the staff are, these are simple food preparation guidelines.

But recently I popped in the sauchihall St branch and the csfe seemed to have real trouble with the basic concept of prvidung coffee. Will take your order but no rush to give you coffee. Last time had to demand money back as coffee was not delivered before we had to leave. Who waits 15 minutes for a latte and an expresso. Sorry to the other girl serving who was understanding. Went back today and again I had to wait 10 mins for a coffee ☕ and only that after a prompt. Come on. You can do better.

Popped in this morning for breakfast before heading back home. The service was friendly and welcoming, the cafe was clean with an inviting atmosphere too.My only real complaint was that the scrambled eggs were microwaved which is unforgivable for me. Disappointing, dry and bland- my fiancé and I were pretty dissatisfied by this. I don't understand why many establishments cook scrambled eggs in this way as 1 minute extra in a pan will give you so much more flavour and texture. The coffee was excellent though! The menu looked interesting and reasonably priced so if I'm ever in Glasgow again I'd return again

I've been to iCafe many times, although only ever to print - I've never bought any drinks or food, so can't comment on those. However, for someone like me who lives in the area and doesn't own a printer, iCafe is an absolute lifesaver. Very reasonably priced if you need to print small quantities (most actual print shops only seem to do huge numbers of copies - and they tend to only be open during the day on weekdays), and you can print colour (or B&W), and one- or double-sided. Overall, would definitely recommend if you need to print a couple of sheets.

What a nice cafe, just how a cafe should be, friendly, great prices and lots of nice tempting treats. We didn't eat much as we were dining out at lunch time so we just shared a pastry with our cuppa and enjoyed chatting (mainly to our friends via Facebook on the fee WiFi lol) This cafe is easy to find, just a long way up the main shopping road. Nice interior and comfy couches to sit on, if you wished. It was a fortuitous accident that we came across this inviting establishment. While we we were waiting for our daughter to emerge from the Dental Hospital, we looked for a suitable resting place to pass the time.My eye caught the iCafe and I thought it just the type of place where we could easily pass a pleasant half hour or more.I could not have been more pleased with my stroke of luck.Inside you could relax on soft leather sofas and read the newspapers provided for the clientele. If you preferred,.you could sit in more upright chairs at a table .Clearly marked on wall displays were the food items with prices immediately visible. We knew then that quality and reasonable prices characterised this oasis on Sauchiehall Street. To add icing to the cake was the warm and welcoming manner of the staff of two. There is always a fear that disappointment will raise its unhappy head but the serendipitous spell was never broken. The service and the coffees served were both excellent. We felt at ease and at home in the unassuming but relaxing surroundings. There is no doubt that ,whenwe are in that area again,we will be more than happy to go in for a tasty coffee and a relaxing half hour or so in cheerful surroundings.

What a surprising find!! Having walked by often and not really noticed this little coffee shop (as we headed to Costa) we stopped in today for a quick coffee (one of those 'anywhere will do' moments)....and what a find. First surprise.....the automatic doors lead you into a homely, yet lively atmosphere! Second surprise....the service was fantastic - service with a smile, a dash of humour and sincerely happy to help and the icing on the cake (mmm literally) was the lovely warm scones, fresh pastries and great coffee. (In a Scwarzeneggar voice) - We'll be back......

A lovely stop on Sauchiehall St. I came for breakfast and they were very accommodating of my request to fill a Croissant with cheese and ham. Best of all was the coffee. I had a fantastic Americano - wonderfully rich and smooth. The café itself is modern and clean looking. As a result it's a little short on character. The name iCafe doesn't help - it sounds like one of those nasty old-fashioned internet cafés, which it's anything but. It does have free WiFi though which is a plus. There is plenty of space, including a quieter room downstairs although I preferred to be upstairs where there is better light from the big glass windows.I only had breakfast but looking at the menu they have decent if not large selection of breakfasts and lunches. It is halal and they use turkey bacon rather than pork.

– I love this cafe, they have so many scrummy things to choose from, I opted for a jacket potato this time, with coronation chicken and it came with a little pot of coleslaw (homemade I think) and it was very lovely. I have also previously tried the scramble egg, I got it to go and they packaged it in a great little cup, and it stayed really warm and it was gorgeous, very buttery. The staff are very helpful and the decor is great, the sofas are so so comfy.I am determined to get back there for an ice cream, and there is another dilemma, so many flavours to choose from!!!I wouldn't say it was the cheapest around but then I believe in 'you get what you pay for' and as such I would say this is good value for money.

I went to iCafe Woodlands today to buy a milkshake and the service was very unsatisfactory. After I placed my order I asked for my student discount but the girl at the till didn't know how to undo it and she asked the manager. While the girl was friendly, the manager gave me a bad treatment. She said it cannot be undone. She explained that if they cancel the order they will be queried about it, and taken guilty for the mistake, when in fact, she said, it was my mistake. I wasn't asked if I'm student or not, and I asked for the student discount on time (after placing the order), therefore I don't think it was my mistake. The manager treated me disrespectfully by saying that it was my mistake and that I should just ask for it earlier next time.On top of that I got a thin straw for my thick milkshake so I could barely sip it. There will be no next time for me in iCafe because I won't support a business that lies about their student discounts and treats their clients disrespectfully.

We were there for breakfast, but it seems they can do all sort of things also for lunch and dinner. Thr place itself and the food is rather simple, but portions are huge (to our continental taste at least) and price is reasonable. The sofa we sat on was very comfortable; if you are not lucky to get it, no reason to panic - others were seemengly pleased with chairs. The place features also a great free wifi, so it's just made for sitting, chatting with friends, enjoying the coffe and going online to give it a rating.

I had been in Glasgow for a 10am appointment, however, due to a malfunctioning alarm turned up at 9am. So what does one do to kill an hour - easy, go for breakfast. I had passed a few places before arriving at this cafe. It had patrons eating which was a good start, it was very clean, box two ticked, and a god selection of breakfast choices on the menu. All was good. And this is where it started to go slightly wrong. I opted to have the pancakes with crispy Turkey rashers, but didn't want the maple syrup, choosing scrambled eggs instead. Now I wasn't expecting to pay the same price as the standard menu choice, however there was some discussion needed between staff as to whether I could actually have this.To make life easier, I suggested they charge me for the pancakes and bacon option, plus a scrambled egg roll but leave off the roll and the maple syrup and serve it all on the one plate. That seemed to do the trick. So be aware trying to order 'off menu' might cause problems.I decided that it would be worth returning here for my lunch. The choice of two home-made soups made sure one was on the mark, which the lentil certainly was. Delicious, thick, chunky, well seasoned, all it was missing was some crusty bread and butter. The toastie was a standard chicken and cheese, but was more than adequate for a lunch light bite. This establishment has a huge selection of coffees available for the aficionado unfortunately I'm a tea drinker! It also had a vast range of what certainly looked like home-made tray bakes, cakes, pastries etc. The arrangement of the seating permits both tables and lounge seating dependant upon your personal requirements. The staff, two of whom were on duty at the time of both my visits were very friendly, helpful and courteous, despite our somewhat awkward start on the breakfast menu choice.Well worth a visit.

I have visited icafe a few times and have been pleasantly surprised. I am making my way through the extensive coffee flavors with the gingerbread being my favourite so far. There is a wide variety of sandwiches with a very generous fillings. There is a good atmosphere and comfy couches to relax and use the free wifi while enjoying the best coffee in Glasgow. I will be visiting icafe again :)

I have been to icafe a few times and always had delicious coffees. I can highly recommend the banoffe coffee! I've only ever had the soup but my friends pancakes looked lovely! There is plenty of space to sit and hang out / charge your phone etc. Open late as well and well priced. A refreshing change from the big coffee chains - way more choice. Not to mention delicious cakes!

I popped into the iCafe before a concert at the ABC opposite as I had some time before doors and I wanted to relax a little. It's not the most spacious place, but this isn't an issue at all - there's plenty of space to sit both up and downstairs and there's ample space in the back with computers to browse the Internet and have something to eat or drink while doing so. There's a good selection of food and drinks available as you'd expect from any good café. The prices are reasonable and the cost of browsing for an hour was pleasantly surprising. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again if I'm in the area again.

Went into this cafe by chance early one morning. Nice buzz about the place with many people enjoying coffee/internet surfing/reading newspapers. Very relaxing environment. Good cup of coffee and a bite to eat, but nothing outstanding...better however than usual "chain" coffee. Friendly and welcoming service. Inexpensive. Would recommend for quick coffee and snack.

Visited here for the first time when I was attending an event at the Glasgow School of Art, which is less than 5 minutes away.Really wide choice of food from jacket potatoes, soup sandwiches to cake.My coffee (latte) was very good and well presented. It was a perfect accompaniment to the Scottish tablet but for those who have not had this before, beware the sugar rush!

This internet cafe is unremarkable in every way. We were in need of sustenance and having watched the owner get his funding on Dragon's Den decided to see what he'd done with his concept. Our first impression was that it was a cafe that had been launched amidst a big fanfare and had then been forgotten. It had a big chain feel with nothing notable or exceptional. The food and coffee offering was unremarkable in any way. The decor was tired and uninspiring. The staff were pretty unhappy looking and the service was sterile. The only thing that was really worthy of any comment from us was that the uniforms with black chefs' hats were awful. It serves coffee, tea, food and has internet....so does almost every cafe in Glasgow. Money well spent Dragon? I don't think so!!!

Worst cafe I've ever visited.Me and a friend went into the cafe and the two staff members in their twenties took a good five minutes to finish their conversation before they were kind enough to take our order of two small pizzas. Forty five minutes later we were still waiting when the chef informed us he forgot about our order and had 'heavily burnt the pizzas'. Another half hour passed waiting on our second pizzas which when they eventually arrived were of the standard of a sainsburys basic pizza. Service was awful, staff were unhelpful and rude and we could hear them discussing the amusement of burning the pizza which was extremely rude.

We chose iCafe as a meeting place as it was near the apartment we were staying in the weekend we were in Glasgow and because they have a fab selection of signature drinks such as Nutella Cappuccino, Pistachio Hot Chocolate, Banoffee Coffee, Strawberry Hot Chocolate, Toffee Nut Latte, Raspberry Mocha, Coconut Latte, Spiced Chocolate and Coconut Chocolate. The food menu selection is small and ok-ish but the food and drinks are a bit over priced. I ordered a sharing platter of olives, falafels, hummus & pita bread, and a coconut late. The service was sooooooo slooooooooow. We thought they had forgotten about us. Every now and again someone would come out from behind the counter carrying one coffee at a time, or come out of the kitchen carrying one plate at a time, wandering about aimlessly not knowing who they were taking it to. We guessed they'd probably had a heavier night than we had!My coconut late came luke warm and when my food finally arrived the falafels were frozen in the middle! Not great. However, we gave it the benefit of the doubt and returned again the next day on our way to the train home. We probably should have left it with the doubt as once again the service was incredibly slow and the coffee luke warm. It's a shame really because the signature drinks look good on the menu but aren't great when they come luke warm. I wouldn't recommend it if you are in a hurry and I wouldn't go back.:(

Went in because I've heard good things and had friendly service when getting take away coffee. Chose a sandwich and was asked if I wanted it grilled. After sitting down and waiting for 20 minutes I went up to ask what had happened. Noticed all the staff standing in the kitchen area talking instead of standing at the front (where the grill is). Was told my sandwich had been burned and they were making me a new one, and they'd forgotten to tell me. Sat back down for a further 20 minutes before my sandwich was presented with a "sorry it took so long" and the girl tried to take my friends coffee away that he was still drinking. Don't know how it took nearly three quarters of an hour to grill a sandwich. Can only assume it got burnt more than once. Food was tasty but I feel like the quality of staff just isn't what it was. Will not be returning.

What a lovely way to start the day. My pal and I on a bit of a big cycle around Scotland, decided to stop here on a Wednesday morning, thanks to it being recommended by our waitress the night before. We locked up our bikes and headed over to naked soup dropping our heavy backpacker bags at a table before heading in to order. 1 confit caprese bagel 1 chicken and sun-dried tomato bagel 1 curried cauliflower soup 1 roast squash soup Absolutely stunning. The soups are super smooth and soul warming. The bagels are perfect accompaniments, dipping them into the soups to get this complete mouthful of flavours. This is not just a one time place to go and enjoy this is a spot to make your daily go to a part of your routine if you are a local. I'll be getting the train back up from London with the plans of stepping inside naked soup again. A place that understands having a small menu and perfecting each element. I tip my hat to you naked soup.

I have got to be totally honest here. The staff were absolutely fantastic 11/10 but the food was inedible. I mean really bad. The chicken burger although it was very big....was bad. Funny texture.....one of the worst I've had anywhere. The curry was very bland and watery. The steak pie thing was.....I actually doesn't know what to say......I'll stick to real...bad. Absolutely go for the alcohol as they do good offers and it's cheap. The staff honestly just couldn't have been better. Also brilliant with dogs. For food I just couldn't ever recommend.....so so soooooo unfortunate :( x
