Good quality food, well priced and great service.

Sunday morning coffee for me! What a lovely traditional café on Great Western Road in Glasgow. Really friendly staff and all at reasonable prices, unlike some of the big chains. 10/10

Bought some chicken noodle soup from here today .got home with it and it was undercooked lukewarm lentil soup I received..

Super annoyed. Ordered a decaf cappuccino and got regular instead. This is awful! The doctor said no caffeine for me! Not coming back!

Visited this wonderful wee cafe today. In the best tradition of homely, good food and welcoming chat you could find. Reasonable priced , home baking ,good coffee and the owner came out for an extended chat. She knew most of the customers by name, always a good sign. Highly recommend. Left with a real feel good vibe.

Food was bland, vegetarian breakfast, lacked variety, colour and taste ..was very disappointed . No prices next to breakfast, felt like I was royally ripped off almost £15 for breaky and coffee come on get real😡

I use it for takeaway coffee and sandwiches.

Great western breakfest - egg, beans, toast, black pudding, square, poatoe scone, 2 slices bacon, tomato + coca cola in a bottle to sit in.. 12.50£ ! Price for That is a criminal. Food wasnt nothing special. Service never ask about anything.. there is a big board on the Wall with menu without prices. You order something But you have no idea how much you will spend money on that. I still dont know how much was breakfest cost But i dont care right now because i never back to this place. On sauchiehall Street there is a same food for half prices. Any big breakfest anywhere is a cost about 6 pounds maximum with a drink.

Went for coffee and a muffin and asked what type of muffin it was as there was no label but the ladies in the front had no knowledge of what they were serving which honestly was funny to me and I was nit even bothered. The place has nothing special or extra, only your average shop that serves different greasy rolls, coffee, and sweet bakery.

Was passing by Great Western Road on morning and was in need of something to eat, so thought I would pop in to Great Western Cafe to grab some food on the go. Usual selection of things to order, but my only gripe is that the service was incredibly slow, and while far from busy, spent longer than I had to for my order of a breakfast roll. All in all, prices are really good, and the food is tasty, but its really just a small cafe and serves its purpose for what I need.

Great Monster breakfast, relaxed & neat. Good service. Went back years later (should have come sooner!) and had luvly soup and tuna melt sandwich. V relaxed and popular but thankfully not too busy with a good atmosphere.

I ordered lentil soup, chicken salad roll and ham/cheese roll to take away. Arrived home with chicken noodle soup and 1 scrap of chicken in roll. Returned to cafe, the girl added more chicken to the roll (surely should have made a fresh roll?) and she gave me my lentil soup. Unfortunately tasted like coloured hot water, scrimping on the ingredients. Thought i would have got even a 'sorry' for having to return but no. Also i witnessed no hand washing/hygiene in practise as the girl was removing dishes from the dishwasher and proceeded to add the chicken to the roll. Not good guys!

Cold beans, sausage and potato scones literally like eating cardboard and they gave us two of an item we asked to be removed. No idea how this place has such high reviews

The food we had was quite nice. The coffee was decent too. Shame the girl serving was still sobering up from the previous night , with her face the wrong way up.

Packaging was damaged, coffee spilled all over rest of order, completely ruined! This is the second time this has happened I am furious especially when the price is so high!

Iv had many orders in the past with this cafe, and every time the food was always hot, fresh and delicious. Unfortunately this time however it was none of those things and was disappointed. Also please don't put cold cans of juice in thr same bag as the hot food, as they arrived warm

The best rolls in the west end, maybe even the city! I once came in here after a particularly heavy night, feeling very much the worse for wear. When I had to step outside for feeling rough, the owner himself came put to look after me, gave me water, and made sure I was okay. Kind staff, great food, and definitely well priced!

Bitter coffee and cheap black pudding. Deffo needs a fresh coat of paint and a good clean.

Had praised this cafe in the past but was deeply disappointed after recent visit. Prices gone up, half warm soup, out of date chocolate bar and crisps in date by 2 days but tasted awful. Not impressed.

I am not happy with my order I waited a well over a hour and by the time my food came it was cold and there was less food for the price you charge I demand a full refund.

Great café serving a variety of breakfasts, wraps, burgers etc. Dined in to have a breakfast around lunchtime on a Saturday. Service came with a smile and a friendly helpful manner and food was great. Unpretentious surroundings, obviously popular with the locals by the trade it was receiving whilst we were eating. Small café though, so seating limited. Would definitely use again in the future.

Absolutely shocking service from this establishment. Ordered through Uber eats order 2 sandwich and 2 lentil soups. Delivery came and all the soup was opened and spilled everywhere in the bag and socked the sandwiches. My first thoughts was delivery driver did not handle it properly and when I caught up with him and asked he said the lady did not mention to him. I then called he cafe up and explained all she said was call Uber eats and get refund. She did not even apologise for what has happened and instead of taking little responsibility or owning up to it lying and blaming drivers. I explained they have to get better packaging or holders for them so o does not happen for anyone else no response and I hanged up the phone. Shame I have no picture otherwise I would have posted that up.

Cans of juice were in same bag as rolls and the juice was hot and the rolls were bashed and freezing cold.

My partners parents came here today to get their breakfast and everything was burnt and solid hard. Everything went to the bin -waste of £17

Had left comments about no jalapeños in my order and suprise suprise the staff didn't read them as usual & came delivered covered in them. Partners hot roll was stone cold when it arrived. Please pay more attention to the comments box expecially for the prices charged

Baked potato it's self was a bit small and didn't taste great if I'm honest. Chicken soup was class though and the can was cold which is always ideal!

Won't be back we went in for rolls and coffee coffee was nasty asked for a latte which I ended up leaving most of after even putting extra sugar in to try and drink

Two weekends in a row we have received the completely wrong order without a hint of an apology. It’s not even simple mistakes. So badly run and won’t be back.

Second time ordered from here first time food was lovely only problem was we were missing 2 hot chocolates second time the food was ok but soup was extremely poor was chicken noodle asked for juicy and there was not one bit of juice in the soup and both it and the lentil were cold and the rolls had a slight heat highly disappointed as apart from missing hot chocolate in first order the soup n food was good

Food was great....fresh coffee👌 which is unusual for a greasy spoon. The girl is lovely but I'm sure she would have more customers if she had some help! One person doing everything isn't efficient. 25 min for a roll with sausage and egg is too long. I was half an hour late for work🙈🤣

Ordered 2 veggie breakfasts and got 2 meat ones instead. Even if we did eat meat, the meal looked undercooked. Not enjoyable at all.
