Just a quick review to say a massive thank you to Kerry & Victoria who provided a fantastic service during our visit on Sunday for evening dinner. They are super helpful for anybody who has an intolerance to milk, they will bring an I-pad with a menu just for you!!! As always it is a beautiful restaurant to sit in and the staff are all friendly and provide excellent service!! We will definitely be coming back soon for more of that steak & ale pie / Vegetable pie you have!!!! Thanks again, L&L!

We ate here on our trip to Portree. Nothing but amazing food! Probably the best meal of the entire trip.

The building needs renovation. It is also for sale... The room is spacious but could do with a lick of paint. The bathroom has mold stains on the ceiling. The bed is an instrument of torture! Back pain guaranteed!

As a regular at The JunkYard for several years, I've come to appreciate their commitment to quality. The manager clearly cares, actively seeking feedback on the beers and striving to offer the best selection at the best prices, even during tough economic times. This dedication shows in their constantly evolving beer list, adapting to trends while maintaining high standards. The food is another highlight. The JunkYard offers some fantastic meals, and the conservatory provides a lovely, eclectic atmosphere to enjoy them. However, it's worth noting that the quality of the food can vary a bit. It's usually great, but there have been occasional inconsistencies. Service can also be a bit uneven during peak hours. Despite these minor drawbacks, The JunkYard remains a great place. The fantastic beer selection, with an engaged manager, combined with the unique atmosphere and generally delicious food, makes it a worthwhile visit.

Wow! This is a truly welcoming and cosy little tavern. I was in for some Boxing Day celebrations with some friends and I had a wonderful evening. There was only two staff members working the whole night and they provided unparalleled service in such a busy environment. Kitty, the barkeep, was incredibly on top of things, and managed to provide some top class chat whilst dealing with the bustling turnover of clientele. Keith, the manager, was super helpful and even dug though all the stored glasses to find us an ‘07 Belhaven pint glass! Would strongly recommend and anyone in the area to come down for a drink! 5 stars well deserved. Thanks for a superb experience!

Mi marido y yo paramos en el Cross Stobs después de visitar a mi madre en el hospital. Estábamos demasiado cansados para cocinar una comida en casa y pasamos por el restaurante en nuestro camino de regreso a casa. Las chicas eran amables y aunque el restaurante estaba ocupado nos acomodaron. Ambos elegimos las aceitunas de ternera y no nos decepcionó. La porción era grande y solo podía comer la mitad, pero antes de darme cuenta mi esposo había cambiado los platos y terminado el mío diciendo que era demasiado sabroso para irse. El servicio fue amable y atento. Sin duda volveremos y recomendaría encarecidamente una visita xx.

An excellent choice for any dining occasion! The food was fresh and flavorful, the service was exceptional, and the warm decor created a charming and relaxing environment.

The Receptionist lady started Filming us on her phone as we were on our way out after having paid for an expensive meal. She was using her iPhone to film us. I asked the manager politely for the name of the receptionist in order to raise an official complaint however this request was denied. The receptionist holds a video of me and my partner on her phone which is unacceptable. We are not in any way celebrities and we're just enjoying a nice meal together. This is illegal behaviour and we have been left shaken by this incident.
