Madisons in Glasgow City

The Receptionist lady started Filming us on her phone as we were on our way out after having paid for an expensive meal. She was using her iPhone to film us. I asked the manager politely for the name of the receptionist in order to raise an official complaint however this request was denied. The receptionist holds a video of me and my partner on her phone which is unacceptable. We are not in any way celebrities and we're just enjoying a nice meal together. This is illegal behaviour and we have been left shaken by this incident.

Good food, very affordable for city centre and fast service in busy lunch hour

I was craving a dinner after a long 12 hr shift and didn’t think I’d find anywhere serving dinner for breakfast until I came across this place. First time ordering from here. I was so hungry and this was delicious! Exactly what I was craving! Thanks

Best place in the city centre for your breakfast/ brunch/ lunch. When I'm in Glasgow this is the only place. Healthy stuff and not so healthy stuff. All good. Black pudding, haggis, fried egg roll. Can't go wrong

Great cafe, takeaway only. Toasties & panninis are lovely and made in front of you. The the homemade lentil soup is amazing. Does good deals for lunch and is also on Just Eat which is handy. Family run, staff all very pleasant. Great little cafe.

We ordered soup with our lunch but did not get it, also ordered salad with the wrap but did not get that either. Both of these have been paid for. Please advise.

Panini was tasty but chips were like wet rubber

Ordered a cheese n onion toastie there was no onion on it and hardly any cheese so very dry! However the soup and tuna pasta was lovely.

soup is stone cold and the baked potato is also cold. I could reheat the soup myself however im unsure how many times this has been reheated perviously. Baked potato is now a waste as i cant heat in microwave due the filling.

food was cold. chips were burnt and hard. toastie was wet/soggy and frozen. waste of money as had to go straight in bin

This is my go to place for a soup and a sandwich during lunch. They also do a great Mars bar cake! Can't recommend it enough.

Breakfast ordered and delivered with no egg as stated on the menu. Food is basically covered in tomato sauce as well.

the best hangover cures in the city !! the rolls and sausage are some of the best food i’ve had in a while in glasgow and the chips are amazing.. if i’m being honest the chips are 100% something i crave when i have had a couple drinks and the genuine service is impeccable, i cannot fault. thank you for being my go to when i’m hungover or just craving a little taste of home

Usually like the food but it was diff this time. My baby girl usually gets the scrambled egg. I ordered it this time and got an omelette which was burnt inside.

Decent scran, vegi breakfast was class no grease. My baby loved the scrambled egg. We will defo order again. Latte was nice and strong thank you.

I ordered a cheese, ham and onion toastie with a lentil soup. The toastie had about 9 small bits of onion on centred on the middle section. The soup was like a hot cup of stock. No veg, lentils, onions, leeks were present. Very disappointing and after today's order I don't think I'll be back.

out of this world no deli comes close, the 2 lads serving are absolute gents aswell. chicken and bacon baguette too die for. love it !!!!

Phoned up Madison's today for the first time to check they were open after lock down. Very friendly on the phone and offered if i would like to order over the phone and collect due to it being raining and not having to stand outside for long due to Covid restrictions. Food was Amazing & reasonably priced - far better that anywhere else in close proximity. Very friendly staff! Would recommend to anyone wanting a good breakfast roll. I will definitely be going back.

I have just started using this takeaway and have had three different soups so far, I am yet to be disappointed. My work has plenty of takeaways close by but I have decided its worth the 10 min walk as the quality and value is very good (plus I get a good stretch of the legs).

Bought a baked potato and only discovered when I'd eaten some and got through the topping that it was green! I was ill all night. Who cuts into a potatoe and sees its green and serves it!!!

Good food at a great price for the city centre. Just wish there was fruit available ... :)

Absolutely love this place! The staff are so kind and friendly. On one occasion I was like £1 short for my food and the lovely guy who served me was so cool about it and told me to drop the money off to him the next day. And today I left my purse in my other bag and didn’t notice until I was about to pay. When I told him he said the exact same thing and told me to just drop the money off to him tomorrow. I decided to just go and get my purse anyway and by the time I left to go get it and came back my food was ready. The food is amazing and only two minutes away from my work as well which is an added bonus. Would highly recommend this place to everyone! Their coronation chicken panini's are delicious!

Great place for food! Regularly get lunch from here and it's always a pleasant experience. All staff are lovely and the food is great. Very fair pricing.
