Fantastic place, fantastic staff

Do not get the cauliflower starter literally disgusting , and ordered a Katsu curry took them 30 mins to tell me they didn’t have it

I found a piece of glass in my rice bowl. That made me be shocked and worried about the safety. I had reported the issue to the staff and he gave the refund of only the dish found the problem. Please be aware of the food there.

This is a lovely place. The decor is plain but it works making everyone feel comfortable. The food is delicious and good value for money. Right next to the Uni so it always has a nice atmosphere/ buzz to it. However young and old(er 🤪) people frequent the place. A good place to socialise.

La selección de whisky es buena también, uno puede disfrutar de un bourbon o un whisky de la isla. Los borradores son baratos con una excelente oferta de pakora y cerveza. Las pizzas son fenomenales y las hamburguesas dan en el lugar. ¡Incluso puedes comprar un batido o un panini al lado! Este es el bar perfecto, el mejor centro comunitario de la zona. Had the Hot Burger. Tasted weird, but in a good way! Service was great and the bar had a mostly good vibe!

Staff seemed a bit nervous. Steak pie stew was well cooked but a bit salty.

Clearly a meeting place for students, but we didn't feel at all out of place. The food was delicious the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. A lovely place to spend an an hour on a wet Glasgow afternoon.

A student staple in the area. Will be busy at weird times but honestly only adds to the charm. If you don't like uofg students then maybe try somewhere else. If you like em it's a must. If you are one you are probably reading this in the joint

Cheap and good pub food. Not the best service you’ll find but it’s part of the student pub vibe. Their pizza is really good value for money. Doesn’t look like much but was tasty

Spent half my time at university in here. It's almost perfect in every way. They should bring the electronic candles back though.

Well-placed bar for a well-earned thirst quencher between graduation ceremony chaos and subway in to town to meet the rest of the family for the meal. Sat outside to cool down and had a quick conversation with a lovely young couple who mentioned Steve Hillage (70s prog guitarist & 90s dance guru).

Nice student hang out. Student prices and crowd. I'm not a student but they still let us in and didn't measure my wrinkles. Decent Negroni and the misses had a nice half pint.

Stopped in with friends from uni during a break, food and drink were delish and came quick! Only complaint is that the pancakes were very dry, even with syrup, but everything else was incredible! Will definitely be coming back!

This is the ultimate place. 1- the food is amazing 2- the price of the food is amazing 3- the staff are fast & hardworking! 4- great layout & cook establishment. 5- it is very accommodating in here! 6- very good crowds & plenty of people always a good sign to know your in the right place.

Best lentil soup I've ever had. Fast friendly services.

It is a go-to place to have a quick snack or lunch. I recommend their paninis , cause it not only taste nice, but also go well with their soups. Their hot and cold drinks are fantastic as well. Definitely a must go, especially students.

Food and drink are very fairly priced. The food isn't very high quality and the service isn't great, however the price more than makes up for that (especially in the west end)

Egentlig ganske fornøyd. God mat og drikke, hyggelig betjening. Men så ble jeg spurt om å flytte bord. Greit nok. Bordet jeg hadde var for fire og helt innerst i hjørnet i 2. etg. med et ladepunkt for telefonen min, og hyggelige folk rundt. Men jeg tenkte jeg skulle være grei da jeg bare er en person.. Jeg ble plassert i 1. Etg. på et lite, bråkete bord med en metallstol for én person ved en forsøplet passasje til toalettene.. Og det var det. Ingen takk, ingen rabatt, ikke en gratis chipspose engang.. Skulle bare nektet å flytte meg..

This is a lovely casual bar that feels light and airy instead of grungy and sticky like most student bars. That said I think this place serves a lot of different age groups (although I would not reccomend for families, it’s just not that kind of place). The prices are more than fair and the staff are always upbeat. My only criticism is that it gets very busy and it can get hard to hear each other when your with a group, so worth baring in mind if you plan to visit.

As a family we had been sight seeing all morning and decided to stop for lunch, this place seemed to have space, so we popped in. Great service, lovely food & really friendly staff. Would certainly re-visit if up that way again.

This is a popular bar located near Glasgow University. Has a good selection of drinks and offers great food. The pint and pakora deal is certainly worth trying.

Went here for food and a couple of drinks with friends. Ordered veg pizza and some sides, all very tasty and reasonably priced. I was able to take my dog in as well which is great. I love being able to take him places with me

Bank Street Bar & Kitchen is a gem in the West End. Beautiful atmosphere, great prices, really friendly fun place. Enjoy a live fire and a lovely coffee in the afternoon, or food & drink in the evening. The staff are the best, really friendly and attentive. The tall windows make it a light airy space, really an enjoyable space to be. Throughly recommended to all!

Pizza and burgers for £5!! The perfect student restaurant with good food at cheap prices. Great ambience, good service and good portion size. The restaurant has a seating capacity of around 30 to 40 (inside, ground floor and first floor), and also has a restroom. Pizza and burgers are amazing, so was the veg pakora and chocolate fudge. Hot chocolate was not the best, but still good. It also has a good selection of beer.

Lovely cafe with friendly staff. Highly recommend the Caesar salad (fresh, very large portion and tasty). A delicious meal, but with low prices!

Buzzing, friendly, fun and informal student focused bar. Prosecco on tap (if that's your thing) and a decent pint of Joker IPA. V dog-friendly but may be a bit daunting for some dogs as the evening vibe ramps up. Nonetheless close to park so a good drop in on a walk. Straightforward brunches and pizza style snack food honest and generous

Great little bar and restaurant. Lots of gf options but they didn't have their second fryer working so didn't get a chance to try them, but hopefully next time!

I really enjoy this place. Very relaxed atmosphere and lots of favourite drinks on sale and the food is pretty good, plus I doubt you'll get cheaper.
