great food and friendly service. I had a fantastic burger, the chilli loaded fries were greay and the kids like the make your own pizza. Very nice place. The Strip Joint is very child friendly, has great music and food.

A hidden gem outside of Glasgow's central area! Went here before a concert in the Ovo hydro. Music being played was on brand for the concert, the bill came in a cassette case of the artist also! Small touches which make a place memorable. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and the beer selection has something for everyone! Nice to browse the records while waiting for food too. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Great place for some bar food and close to Hydro for gigs

This was our first visit to Strip Joint for a pre-show meal before a gig at the Hydro, and it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was vibrant, the service was impeccable, and the food was tasty. From start to finish, Jordan and the team made us feel incredibly welcome and were attentive throughout the entire evening. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and excellent service in a lively setting. Superb!

We visited as a large party for work. We sent our orders through several weeks prior. We had to change the date last minute and they had no issue. They managed really well with our large group, getting all of the food out in really good time with great service. The atmosphere and music were also great. We stayed afterwards for the cocktails which I 100% recommend. All in all a really good night

Was there on a Sunday night and naturally it was quiet, but good tunes, cold beer and really friendly staff. What’s not to like here?

Music shop and record store in one. A clear fast food menu and a good cocktail menu are worth a visit. The pizzas are delicious and freshly prepared.

Strip Joint never disappoints you, no matter how many times you visit the place whether you go alone, with friends or family. You can just go for one drink or order food the next time, the service and welcoming vibe are always the same, so it proves the place maintains their standards.

Decent enough bar but staff were content to let people vape inside, didn't address it and when raised it was clear the staff were pals with the person doing it, no consideration for the other patrons (including kids as during the day). Poor show.

Loved it. We loved the music and the chilled atmosphere. Reminded us of our student days which were in the 90s. If you liked pubs in the 90s then this would probably suit you as it did us.

During our stay in Glasgow, our local friend recommended Strip Joint. Definitely did not disappoint. The pizza is really good and fresh, quickly ordered and quickly at the table. The hot wings were super good as well. Really like the atmosphere and vibe in there as well. Would recommend for sure to anyone for good food and a pint anytime of the day / night!

Just a one off I went in. No Ice t.. spoke to a lovely bar staff member who answered all questions. With a lovely smile. She's looks like 21 . Service was really good. Just got red stripe on the draught. Was a bit pricey. But u get what you paid for. May come back on a gig at that place ... Was going to ask her name...top notch

Ye great for just before a concert

Very warm welcome when we arrived. The bar was very busy, however that did not affect the service, staff were very attentive, drinks and food arrived quickly, which was appreciated as we were attending a concert later on. Food was delicious, very fresh and hot. There was a lovely atmosphere, with a fantastic music selection playing. Would definitely recommend coming here and hope to return soon.

We held a brilliant event at Strip Joint on 9th Aug. It was a drinks party celebrating our company’s 50th anniversary, and we had about 100-150 guests turn up throughout the evening who were all attending a convention at the nearby Scottish Event Campus. The staff were absolutely brilliant in the run-up to the event and on the evening itself. Communication was fantastic, the service was warm and friendly, and the staff were really happy to help with whatever we needed - particularly with bringing out drinks speedily when the party got really busy. The atmosphere in the venue was great - really lively and buzzy, with a real rock n’ roll vibe, which was what we wanted. Great fun and great tunes all evening. We all had a brilliant time and can’t recommend Strip Joint enough as an event venue, especially if you’re looking for somewhere to hold a drinks party whilst attending a convention at the Scottish Event campus. We also had a team meal there before our party and the pizzas were delicious.

Amazing place with a great atmosphere, fab food, lovely staff and music that was perfect! Not too posh but not trashy...just right! Came as I had bern given a voucher but will def return! Best pizza and burgers we have had in a loooooong time. Compared to prices of popular fast food - this was MUCH better value! Can't wait to return l! Cocktail choices were deeeeeelish!

Another one of those Rock bars the music that was too loud for the time of day was more suited for the staff than the customers the Food wasn't good mostly deep fried and he chicken wings were supposed to be honey and some other flavour weren't someone next to us had pizza that looked good wish I had that than the flavourless chilli hotdog the red stripe on draft was excellent but the chap that served us kept touching his long hair two stars for the beer not worth the large bill doubt we'll be back

It's a vibe. We rocked up without a reservation on Friday and after a short wait room was made for us with table service, host/staff were friendly and accommodating - Dog friendly, vinyl, rock and alt aesthetic with all the trendy burger joint trimmings, food was ok, spicy wings were pretty tame..

Great place, we’ve been a couple of times. The macaroni in particular is amazing! Portions are big so bear in mind when ordering.

Great place. Good sense of humor. Perfectly cooked burger with bacon and cheese. The mustard sauce is good stuff.

This was honestly one of the best burgers I have ever tried.. Can't remember the name of it but it contained beef pattie, haggis, peppersauce, (which was outstanding) dried onions and lettuce. My wife had a chicken burger and we shared the chicken wings with buffalo service. Very good atmosphere also and the staff were very attentive. Thank you.

We made reservations for our party of 6 on a Saturday night and were glad we did! This place is busy and for good reason! We had drinks and pizza, wings and chicken burgers. All were excellent! Staff was very friendly and the service was also really quick! We would definitely come here again for a meal and/or drinks!

As a pub this is a 10/10. Great service great atmosphere. As a restaurant this place is worth avoiding. I ordered a pizza and chicken wings. Both very poor and the wings were freezing cold. Unfortunate as the place itself is great and the staff are lovely.

Lovely staff, so helpful and provide a great service! The Food was lovely as well. Also, my friend has a few allergies, and the staff double-checked and even showed her the allergy booklet to keep her mind at rest! She feels so relaxed and safe within the environment.

We popped in here for a few drinks after a gig at the hydro and had such a great end to a wonderful evening Great selection of drinks good m8x of people. Tho was busy we got a seat and easy to get a drink. Will be back again soon.

Worst place I’ve been to in Glasgow. They for some reason don’t believe in reserved signs. Twice there were free seats. The first time we thought it was on oversight but then it happened again. Apparently if there’s a menu on a table that’s a reserved sign? Never heard the like. And don’t get me started on the very aggressive man at the door with curly hair. He needs a lesson in customer service

Like many other places in Glasgow, it is a very original and characteristic bar where one can enjoy tasty and good priced meals. We tried the Hages pizza, and with it's caramelised onion on top was a positive surprise. I would also recommend Tropical beer. Prices are good and service extremely friendly. Would totally recommend it again!

Burger was very good. However, the toilets are filthy and mostly broken. Accessible toilet had a broken sign but the staff were still using it.

Picked up a takeaway pizza (Maybellene), tasted better than it looked, was fresh and a decent size (for one). Place was busy with people eating and/ or drinking, good atmosphere.

Food was really tasty, lots of veggie options. The burger was really tasty and loved the three different chip options. Plenty of dips and sides, big portion sizes so good value for money. Staff were lovely and food and drink came quickly.

8 months later, wow, what a difference, booked our table for 3pm for 2 hours, 5.30 pm entry at the Hydro so ideal. Unfortunately we arrived to be abruptly told we have one and a half hours, not the two we were initially told. Got our food, one course, then ordered drinks at 4pm, 4.15 pm we got told we only have 15 mins left, and again at 20 minutes past told that “we need the table we can send your drinks over there” 20 mins for 1 cocktail and a jug and still didn’t arrive yet pestered to move because they are busy, now we have to find somewhere else to go when in Glasgow, lucky that there is plenty choice, shame though, we did like coming here Wonderful service, epic food and such a chilled atmosphere, a very relaxing place to be

Our boss booked this for a work lunch for our team and I was really impressed! Great wee place with really tasty food, fantastic music and a nice atmosphere. Loved the decor! The guys working were so lovely! Couldn’t be more helpful! Definitely be back!

Came with a party of seven. Service was simply flawless: personal, attentive, relaxed and friendly. Food was absolutely smashing, and the atmosphere of the place is delightful. If you like pizza or burgers, this is the place to be this side of the Clyde. Will 100% be back.

Excellent beer served fresh from the tank and a good selection of new vinyl, some more well known than others but some rarer ones also. Well worth a visit.

Crew were very nice. Pepperoni pizza and hot wings were delicious. Tank lager was crisp and tasty easy to go down. Music playlist was fabulous! (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club style) This place was my favorite experience in Glasgow!

Not my first time visiting and won't be the last. I love this place, and the Rumble pizza was absolutely unreal. Staff are great, pints are great, scran is great, tunes are great. What's not to love?

The staff at stripjoint are some of the most amazing people you could meet. I had a health incident in the restaurant after being a customer with my daughter for years. They were the most proactive caring people you could ever imagine. Will always rave about them.

We went with two tired toddlers after a day at the science centre. We were made to feel welcome, the kids got to make their own pizza, their menu looked good. They had decent beer on tap for mum and dad, and the pizzas and burgers were great. Particularly enjoyed the hot wheels racing on the TV! Thanks for making dinner with the sprogs easy and fun 😊

Pub and cocktail bar with a rock music atmosphere and a heart of gold. The food was delicious, the drinks tasty and the staff welcoming and caretaking. If you have problems with sensory intake, especially concerning loud background noises, bring your loops or similar devices because the music is really good and also loud.

This was one of the best meals I've ever had! My partner and I travelled to Glasgow for a concert at the Hydro, and chose this place to eat because it looked like it had a great atmosphere and the menu was very appealing, we could not have chosen better. I got a parma ham pizza and she had a hot dog, and they were both incredible, some of the best food we've ever eaten. I regularly order pizza from a proper Italian restaurant back in Northumberland where we live, and the pizza I had at Strip Joint was definitely better, absolutely amazing food. The balsamic dressing took it to another level! We tend to try to go to gigs in different cities so that we can travel about and explore, but now we are going to actively look for gigs in Glasgow so we have an excuse to come back. If the food being delicious wasn't enough, it's also inexpensive, quickly served, and the staff are absolutely amazing. Every time we come to Scotland we are impressed with how hospitable everyone is, but the staff here took it to another level. I cannot recommend it enough, we don't think we've ever enjoyed a meal out as much as we did today, the food, the atmosphere and especially the staff all deserve 11/10. Absolutely amazing, thank you.

Great pre-gig pup if you're going to the Hydro. Drinks are good, the staff are lovely. Always happy to talk to you. Been in for lunch a couple of times. The steak and cheese ciabatta is delicious. Had the buffalo chicken burger last week. Chicken was a bit dry, but apart from that, the food has been decent. My work mate enjoyed the pizza. I work close by, so will be back.

Such a beautiful, cozy and unique shop with incredibly good pizza

Loved it here, great portion sizes for the price. Food came really quickly and very hot even though it was busy. Good record selection, prices good too. Would def recommend

Pros: 1.The place has a really cool atmosphere. 2. The staff are friendly and attentive. 3. The cocktails were seriously good. 4. The loaded fries are great. 5. The folk sitting next to us ordered burgers which looked awesome. Con: 1. The pizza left a little to be desired, not particularly flavourful and the base was really soggy so everything just fell off the slices as they were picked up. All in all I’d totally go back and would recommend to anyone, I’d just maybe order one of the many other things on the menu other than the pizza is all!

Was looking for a pizza place nearby so stopped by here. When I arrived I didn't feel hungry enough so opted for wings and nachos. Nachos were very good and the wings were the best wings I have ever had!! Good sized wings and very tasty 10/10 recommend

A fantastic find near the SEC. Great food and wide selection of beers all at great prices. We were at an exhibition in the SEC and wanted better than was on offer there. Ended up at the Strip Joint and absolutely won a watch with this one. Friendly staff,great atmosphere and would totally recommend this eatery to all.
