The Craig Dhu in Renfrewshire

Vino a almorzar con mi pareja. A la llegada señaló que el pub era muy tranquilo - tal vez 10 - 12 personas. Algunas de las mesas tenían platos y vasos sucios a pesar de que el pub estaba bastante vacío. Había vasos de pinta vacía en el bar cuando llegamos y todavía estaban allí cuando nos fuimos (casi 1 1/2 horas! - en un pub con muy pocos clientes). Nadie vino a preguntar si nuestra comida estaba bien y nuestros platos sucios todavía estaban en la mesa cuando nos fuimos. Es una verdadera pena que esta visita fuera tan decepcionante como el pub solía ser de primera categoría. Piensa que la gerencia debe examinar detenidamente la capacitación del personal y quizás el uso de móviles personales detrás de la barra, particularmente cuando su uso parece ser más importante que servir a los clientes.

Mi marido y yo siempre disfrutamos de nuestros almuerzos en el Craig Dhu, gran relación calidad-precio, comida sabrosa y a un precio muy razonable. Visitamos este fabuloso pub al menos una o dos veces al mes y recomendaríamos encarecidamente una visita.

Came in for a late lunch. Wish I’d stayed at home. Over an hour for main to be delivered and when it did arrive, it was mediocre at best. Daughter’s macaroni had a hair in it! One table next to us sent their Sunday roast back. Another table of three hardly touched theirs and their faces said it all. Male bar staff also about as pleasant as a slap on the face. Not even a sorry for the delay when food was finally delivered. AVOID and go elsewhere.

A nice place for a pub grub. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The burgers are highly recommended as they came with a vert good sauce.

was in at the weekend with the lads, ive got to say, what a cracking pub, was served by the funniest bartender ever kyle, he was pouring pints and hitting out with the most tremendous patter youve ever heard, what a funny guy, got a lovely pint of tennants and some good banter off the young fella. will definitely be back in and hope to see my man working behind the bar again.

Poor food, placed my order for fish and chips, it arrived in less than four minutes. Fish was dry and over cooked. Complained to the staff ,who said they would speak to the chef , 45 minutes later still no word from anybody. Was looking forward to a nice meal but was let down badly. Unfortunately this is now the third time that the food has been below standard. Avoid eating here. One greatly disappointed customer

Lovely relaxing lunch with friends. Not overly busy, plenty of seating and not too close together, which is rare. Friendly bar staff. Food was decent and promptly served. Excellent prices and I noticed there are specials on most days too. Discount for bluelight card holders too. So win win.

A great vibe, excellent food, lots of TVs for the football, £3.50 cocktails (and good size cocktails). Honestly I'll go back. Quality place.

Great pub. Accommodated 27 of us for lunch. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, catering for all dietary needs. Reasonably priced.

My partner ordered steak pie and mash, with a side of chips. The meal came out, there was no gravy on or in the pie, no side gravy, and also no chips.

Just had late lunch at Craig Dhu......Food good (especially the mushroom pie), atmosphere warm and friendly.....music superb, combined with staff that go above and beyond make it thr place in Paisley to visit.

This was definitely a Mr 305 experience, I felt like Mr Worldwide in here, popping champagne all night in here. I remember walking in and human league was playing, i caught eyes with the waitress at the cocktail bar and the rest is history. Ive spent every weekend since at this venue. Excellent servers, the drinks were so good it was offensive, I didn't deserve those drinks, I didn't deserve the experience, but I was there and ill continue to be there. xoxo

i entered, linger by the cranberries was playing n i thought. yeah. im gonna let it linger here. i read the menu where it very clearly stated the drink deals and the very kind lady at the bar greeted me warmly like i was an old friend and got me a drink. the food? was gusto from ratatouille the kitchen? because the stuff served that night was next level i thought i was in a michelin star restaurant for a second. the nights proceedings were filled with mirth and joy as if it was christmas day but it wasnt. it was a regular weekend. my life was changed the night i spent here. best night ever. recommended everyone pop their head in.

I don't normally leave reviews. However I will make an exception on this occasion. 5 star service at 3 star prices. Great service & friendly staff. I would especially like to mention Grace who couldn't be more helpful, patient & attentive. Definitely an asset to your team!

In here tonight. Bought a bottle of wine then my friend got 2 gin and tonics from£ 5 49 a double £10 98. I went to bar 2 got 2 double gins no tonic £14 80. Asked why answer you didn't get the tonic. It iscon menu, well menu not clear enough and any barmaid would have pointed that out. Said to girl clearing tables and she pointed in at my friend ( a paying customer ) and said you got last drink you should know and you will know better next time. OMG what absoulute terrible service and if management don't address this shame on them. I am a pensioner and the customer service was non existent. Shame on this establishment.

We went in for a wee lunch yesterday and took advantage of the 2 mains for £12.99 and we were not disappointed! We ordered the chicken katsu curry and the hunters chicken. Both were good sized portions and absolutely delicious! Having access to the app made finding allergy friendly stuff easy! We had a lovely time and will definitely be back.

This is a Green King chain pub, it’s very clean - truth be told it’s spotless. It’s warm even on a freezing day. The staff are nice and friendly and an asset to this pub. It’s quiet but there’s 4 customers in who are absolute bellends but the young staff are handling them very well - honestly should be a training video. One member of their party has apparently never spoken when his mouth ISN’T full of food. The Lassie holds it together like the pro she is, even as a slack jawed yokel of a customer talks to her with a mouthful of food. On to the Guinness - £4.65 a pint compared to the The Wellington at £3.80 and literally a 2 minute walk away mean I’m never coming back here for a Guinness. That being said the Guinness is excellent, excellent “domage” with a smooth silky taste and enviable head retention. It’s expensive but it is a lovely pint. If I was out in Paisley for some pub grub I’d come here over Gabriel’s.

Had the steak pie and chips it was lovely! The meat was tender and the pastry was nice, the broccoli complimented the meal well. I shared midori sour with my partner and it was nice as well, if you are a fan of sweet cocktails! The service was great and it was a nice visit overall.

Being in paisley this place is actually not to bad, decent prices a good atmosphere and near a train station so all good

Spent a very enjoyable friday night here. Nice pint of Guinness and warm and hospitable environment to enjoy it in. Pet friendly too which is a real plus. Will definitely be back in the near future!

Good value for money, I've naw had a bad plate yet, also there's a good selections of drinks, I'm a Guinness drinker and I must say the Guinness was one of the best I've had in paisley. Overall I recommend going here.

Nice place for a pint it's been many a year from my last drink in the Craig Dhu but still a nice environment and pleasant staff.

Food was value for money as was the lager.

We booked out the mezzanine area for a family dinner and we cannot fault our visit. There were 20 of us and from start to finish we all had a ball. The food was delicious and service was speedy and nothing was too much trouble. My sons said the burgers were the best they've had. We will be making our family gatherings here a regular event. Special thank you to the girl behind the bar with the brown hair, a credit to the Craig Dhu.

Very busy pub. Food was excellent and I was very impressed with the vegan options. Had to clean up own dishes and unfortunately the music was insanely loud.

Really enjoy that there are booths with tvs as well as bigger tvs overhead. I go in with some friends and I enjoy that there is always sport available without the experience of a nice warming pub being taken away. I would consider booking a table on the busier times. The food is great with quite a large menu and the staff are really friendly and attentive. Toilets are kept clean. A nice relaxing place.

This place is soooo INCLUSIVE, it has big bright rainbow flags up above the bar and lots and lots of cute little balloons everywhere - all red, and blue and green and all the colours of the beautiful big RAINBOW FLAG that EVERYONE should love and adore.....regardless of you pronouns. LOVE is LOVE after all - and everyone should be INCLUDED. This place is sooooo DIVERSE - and we all LOVE a big old bucket load of DIVERSITY. In other news - the food is average and the beer is expensive. Wont be back.

Went for Lunch/Dinner today, ordered Gammon Steak with salad not chips food came out, eggs looked like they were reheated, gammon steak looked awful, came with chips not salad, plate, swimming in grease, sent it back asked for replacement 2nd plate came out, still swimming...

I've had a lovely latte, mocha then a meal & you get more food for money & the bestest part is the dogs allowed ( even though we didn't being him as we didn't know atm) We will be making this a weekly occurrence. The lady who served us was very nice to us

Had a Groupon voucher for two, used it on Wednesday lunchtime when it was quiet. Food was great, no fuss ordering. Music was a little loud for it being so empty, but just meant we had to talk louder to hear each other. Would definitely go back.
