Went to watch a football match after a tour of the University. Landlady very welcoming & accommodating. Craft unions are good value & if you like watching sport, there are enough tvs to watch one with each eye in every part of the pub. Thoroughly enjoyed. Pity they don't do light food at Craft Union, but I get it, that's not part of the business model for these pubs.

Fantastic little place, staff great

Very poor Ordered a Cumberland sausage sandwich on white bread When it arrived it was plain processedpork sausages in supermarket sliced bread The ketchup (in a Heinz bottle refilled) was cheap and vinagery When I questioned the sausages I was told it was all they had I won’t be visiting again!

5* only for girl who cooked this pizza 🍕 ordered later same day and pizza was different. (Not that tasty) 5* for service, girls at bar and tables, friendly and helpful! Deffo will visit again!

Visited on our day visit to York and decided to have a toasted teacake for a light bite with a medium cappuccino and oat milk, Mum and Sister got other deals and used my two vouchers on my app.

Visited the Clarins counter today. I was greeted by a lovely lady called Haruka. Such a lovely experience. So informative, went through and let me try new products that felt amazing on my skin. Made me feel very welcome and not rushed. Highly recommend a visit to the Clarins counter at Browns in York. Thank yo

Visit every Friday with my daughter. Nice venue, staff and food.

The automatic door is constantly open making it freezing and unenjoyable to a relax. Other tables around me also complained about this. Will avoid especially on cold days.

Great band on. The young ones. We are going back to watch another solo artist on Sunday. Watch this space...

Qué triste lugar se ha convertido este café. Es mi quinta visita hoy 30 / 12 / 24 y sí adivina lo que no es comida caliente. . Vamos camarera tambalea un poco tu cabeza y aprecia a tus clientes al menos abriendo tu café a horas razonables. . 3 x excusas de algo que se rompe en la cocina. Cerrado sin explicación. Hoy solo dice cierra a las 2 pm para el desayuno. Todos en la cola pidiendo comida caliente. También la sopa todavía se anuncia. . ¡Mental!

I regularly visit this shop, always very clean and well maintained,it has a small corner to sit and have coffee and cake etc.. great coffee and the best Ice cream I have ever tasted... really lovely staff, always friendly and helpful...and of course a great selection of Hotel Chocolat goodies... would highly recommend

Not impressed. Ordered 2 paninis the barbecue chicken n bacon didn't have a lot of filling and the beer I had I sent back as it was flat. All they did was turn up the tip on the pump and gave it a quick burst. Beer was still flat. Won't use again

Well organized and have a lot of products. Fruits are fresh.

Took my young daughter for afternoon tea, it was busy so needed to wait but it was well worth it. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful ( we wanted just one type of sandwich because we don’t eat meat ) and they sorted this without any fuss. The sandwiches and cakes was super tasty and fresh. I would say just couple of down sides, wish my daughter could have had a juice instead of hot drink with the afternoon tea (But she was still very happy with hot chocolate) And toilets are upstairs, maybe not so good for someone with mobility issues. All in all a very good visit and can’t wait to visit again.
