Nuestra visita fue realmente decepcionante: ( Llevé a mis dos hijos a medio término, así que siempre esperas lugares ocupados. Llegamos y preguntamos si tenían alguna mesa libre y dijeron que sí, así que nos fuimos. Pedimos a través del código QR pizza, patatas fritas y dip y chocolate untado en tostadas. Por 8 libras. 50 ¿esperabas que fuera casero seguramente? El chocolate untado en tostadas fue de £ 5. 35 ! ? ! ? Se disculparon por el retraso, pero habría sido bueno saberlo antes de sentarse. ¡Mantener a dos niños hambrientos entretenidos durante una hora es una tarea en sí misma! Probablemente no recomendaría tristemente.

Nice staff, lovely food but ridiculously overpriced. I appreciate this is a touristic place and therefore prices will be hiked up a little, but that was over the top. Almost £4 for a slice of cake ?!

Cozy historic pub and inn in the centre of York. England’s most haunted inn! Went in for a dessert and a few drinks on a Monday night and was pleasantly surprised to experience a great live music show. The drinks were good, and the staff service minded and friendly. Lovely decorated interior, with a nice beer garden out back. I Did not book a room at the Golden Fleece, but will definetely do so the next time I’m going to York!

Proper oldie worldie pub! It's always great in there, somewhere we always visit if in town. Only slight niggle was watching the barman pour a Guinness right to the top without letting it settle... Sacrilegious!

Nos alojamos en el Fat Badger, York el 5 de marzo de 2025 por una noche, habiendo reservado una habitación superior directamente en línea con el hotel. Desafortunadamente el término Superior no se aplica, la habitación es más como una habitación estándar que se encuentra en cualquier hotel. La instalación del armario es una alcoba cubierta por una cortina, posiblemente adecuada para una estancia de una noche, pero no me gustaría pensar que estaba parando por más tiempo. Solo hay una mesita de noche. El drenaje de la ducha necesitaba atención porque el plato se seguía llenando hasta desbordarse y el agua tenía que ser cerrada con frecuencia para evitar que inundara el baño. El interruptor de la luz sobre el lavabo se cayó cuando intenté apagarlo. Volví a colocar la placa de conmutación y no intenté usarla de nuevo. Bastante peligroso en un baño. En el lado positivo el pub y el personal son excelentes. Es una pena que el hotel no cumpliera con nuestras expectativas. No recomendaría o se alojaría de nuevo.

I was told about this pub so I had to go and have a look for myself and pleasantly surprised the staff behind the bar was courteous and to help with anything you needed well worth a visit
