Great place for a drink & nibble either inside the clubhouse or on the balcony overlooking the river.

We had sandwiches to go for our walk, both very nice and tasty, and priceworthy. Lasted all day. Also two very nice ladies managing the place.

Friendly staff and very cheap drinks and snacks. Dog friendly too, perfect after a walk out around Habberley Valley, what more could you ask for?

Farm shops seem to be popping up all over the place nowadays and invariably offer local produce from fresh meat to pickles, frozen food to wines and pastries and tagged on, the ubiquitous café or restaurant, a must for any country enterprise. I love them and whilst the quality is usually unsurpassed, the shopping element usually comes at a high premium price. How nice then to find a fairly new enterprise that offers an extremely wide range of local produce and goods at reasonable prices. A very impressive and extensive display. The restaurant is no different. It has lots of tables available inside and out and a lot of parking. It has the appearance of a canteen but it is pleasant enough and provides a comfortable place to eat. The menu is what I would describe as standard British café fare offering various burgers, fish and chips, salads, sandwiches, a variety of foods with chips and afternoon teas. I guess you get the picture. Nothing wrong with this and it is not pretending to be anything else and the prices reflect that. The service is good, fast and, whilst a little rustic, it is presented well enough. A lovely find which understandably is getting more popular. It doesn’t look like a place that will stand still.

What a wonderful pub! Right next to Snow Hill. Love the interior and the atmosphere (even on a cold, wet Monday) was lovely. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the beer was fantastic. Food was a little underwhelming for the price unfortunately, but I'll still definitely be back for more beers 👌🏻👍😃

New owners and a great atmosphere, a bacon bap and friendly staff let's make sure everyone goes. We tried Greens, the Navigation and the Red Lion farm before coming here so pleased

Overall, ok on a quiet night. Meat pie was rather dry, but chips a peas were good. Several items, such as steak, were unavailable.

Sunday lunch was cold asked for it to be reheated meat tough veg portions very small peas and carrots. Not at all appetising. Service left something to be desired. This was 80th birthday with family and friends very disappointing
