Lovely garden centre with excellent restaurant had coffees and a nice stroll round

Such a great garden centre - so well stocked and lovely to browse around. It has a fantastic large restaurant which is dog friendly although the coffee isn't much to write home about. There seems to be so much choice and it's so well designed in the store. At Christmas time I loved the festive displays and the talking reindeer!

My wife and I went to look at getting a new BBQ, After looking at them for a short period of time. We asked a member of staff for some help. TIM was very helpful and his knowledge of the product was very good and helpful. Thank you Tim for all you're help, Yes we did get the items we where looking at.

This garden centre is a little like a Webbs of Wychbold on a smaller scale. There is a clear separation of the different shopping areas and each is well presented. There is no sense of overcrowding so walking around the store and viewing items is very easy. This is true of both the indoor and outdoor areas. The garden section seems to be very well stocked. The cafe offers a range of food from hot meals to coffee and cake. The staff members I encountered were friendly and helpful. The Christmas displays are very good but the garden centre is worth visiting all year roundThere is a well maintained car park and the toilet facilities are kept in good order.

First time visit, plenty of plant selection, prices seem on par with other centre's & good variety of food/drinks in the restaurant. Will visit again.

Great place with superb choices, wide range and the cafe/restaurant is very good, clean, great staff and a lovely environment. Going again soon.

Amazing place and its on my door step lovely friendly staff I meet my friend for a coffee and cheese scone which was amazing to will definitely be visiting more often 💛🌻x

Very good well stocked garden centre with reasonable priced plants and ornaments and furniture--they sell various items like real looking animals - made of resin for indoor and outdoor use--they sell also gimmick items like gnomes frogs plant pot hanging animals---it has easy access off the Redditch bypass and has plenty off parking space-- it has a nice restaurant-- the center is worthy of a visit and the staff are very helpful if required and now it's going on to spring they are starting to stock spring and summer bulbs and flowers

Good coffee, lovely Pain au Chocolat. Very busy

If you like a good coffee, don't go here. Recently stopped a couple of times to browse the garden centre, (which is good to be fair), called into the restaurant for a drink. Each time the coffee served was terrible, an instant at home would have been better, and a lot cheaper. Asked to get the coffee remade, and the replacement was even worse!! This used to be a good place to take a break, but not lately, the quality has really gone down.

Place is big and spacious with lots to look at, restaurant is pretty pricey but the food is fresh.

Went there just to browse, been there before never had cause to be disappointed. It’s clean and the staff are friendly. But I bought a pair of socks there last week, set of 3. Got them home only to discover they definitely had been opened up. Resulting in one of the pairs having a hole near the top. It would cost me more in petrol to go back and exchange them.

WOW, such a lovely place to visit and a super little christmas display they have got on at the moment, great cafe and fabulous gifts even if they are at a premium, but overall excellent stop off

Called in today to purchase a Christmas tree for a project we were undertaking. I have to say, the 3 staff outside went above and beyond with the assistance they gave me and my sister. They really were most friendly and helpful. Thank you so much! People like them make a difference to your day!

23/11/23 came for breakfast and can honestly say it was the worst cooked breakfast I've ever had poached egg was stone cold not fully cooked the bacon was squeaking. It was meant to be the breakfast bloomer and it didn't even come on the bread . I won't be returning

Loved having breakfast to the sound of furniture being dragged all over the floors and chairs being scraped. Whilst organising a function which should have been done before opening.

A lovely garden centre. Plenty of things to browse and buy. The Cafe is superb well staffed and very friendly. Food v good and hot. Been many times and will continue to.

Ashwood nurseries have a wide range of plants in a lovely setting. Good tea room, gift and nursery shop.

Came for breakfast time 10.30 had no eggs to do poached egg the remaining fried egg’s swimming in grease The knives in the self service box were not clean we was told oh that is the dish washer cleaner There was bits of food on them were given some fresh knifes however the container of knives were not removed for cleaning just left there Discussing I did eat my breakfast as I was looking forward to it and had made the effort to come here Never again

Good breakfast, 7 or 10 items as an option for the full English at a reasonable price. Cafe was clean & tidy, staff friendly, only minor negative was it was a little noisy

Lovely garden centre with a good range of garden products. They usually have an excellent range of plants and seeds. There is also a very nice restraunt with some outdoor (under cover) seating. They have a Klass franchise onsite and the car park is large.

This is my favourite garden centre locally, besides plants I buy hanging glass balls they look like a tree inside, a variety of colours, I'm getting a lovely collection. I'm going back there today as we want some red white and blue flowers forthe jubilee year which is the year both myand my husband were born, so there's allot of things to have a nice garden for, this year we are hosting a garden party to celebrate our anniversaries and our 45th wedding anniversary so I hope I'm successful in getting the flowers I want.

Them school meals you loved in the 80's or your mothers meal for when dad used to come home from a hard days work. Steak, mushroom pie, even red cabbage. One of the best lunch time meals I have eaten in a while. Even gone for cake and another coffee. Might be a little posh inside but i'm in my scruffs as i picked something up this way and feel at home. The garden centre has a fantastic selection of plants. Will come back for a Bhudda soon!

Great Breakfast and Garden Centre

Lovely place!! Had a great breakfast.

If I wanted to spend £8 for a cheese & tomato sandwich, I’d visit a 5* restaurant, not a garden centre cafe. Price not justified, staff not very friendly or helpful when asked a question & atmosphere very rushed, no order to queue or serving methods. Sadly won’t be returning.

A coffee or lunch at the Mappleborough Green Garden Centre is always a treat. Plenty of parking, varied horticultural displays, a fine selection of plants, resin animals, pots, garden tools, patio furniture, Bar-B-Q equipment, greetings cards, DIY garden materials, garden mirrors etc to look at & enjoy. The list goes on. I never return home without seeing something that takes my eye for the garden.

Nice tidy garden centre. Good for a coffee and lunch but gets very busy. Good, well stocked gift shop.

After an enjoyable mooch round all the new stock, a delicious cappuccino in the cafe rounds your visit off nicely.

Resturant so noisey at 12.00. PEACEFUL BUT COLD OUTSIDE. They need to do something to counteract. Night mare if wear hearing aids. 4 of us one lady is sight impaired and knows how to manage getting to toilet so why we go. Today we had cream jam scone + tea. Nice but we had to leave as noise of everyone talking made her giddy confused. We were shouting over table to each other. Not relaxing. BADGERS DO SOMETHING

Very good garden centre a good variety of fruit&vegetables. Good cafe and very good staff 👍.

Bad timing as wanted a coffee at 12.00. Queued for half an hour for a pot of tea and a cup of coffee. Staff in cafe very unhelpful, bordering on rude. The coffee was not that good either. 2 stars given as the the rest of the garden centre experience was quite good, just heavily let down by the appalling cafe experience.

Lovely Garden Centre, and very clean Cafe. With some nice food. However 2nd Visit today, and the Coffee's never Hot, I drink Black and it's Luke Warm Horrible! My Husband, never moans, but he said the same, cold Milk made it worse for him!! Also, Why are Tea Cakes A Breakfast Item!! Ridiculous.

Visited this Garden Centre on the way to Studley Castle for lunch. Well laid out and the food in the restaurant was worth every penny. Staff friendly and helpful

A nice garden centre has a range of items to buy a little overpriced in some areas compared to other garden centres. Went into the restaurant there to food was pretty decent and can buy alcohol at this restaurant to.

It's a Garden Centre so not a lot to get excited about, and there are quite a few to choose from within metres of each other. But what sets this one apart is the food. Tremendous choice, good prices and excellent quality!!! Definitely recommend 👌 👍

Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and staff friendly and helpful.staff constantly nonstop cleaning.tables never left for long before they are cleaned. Love eating here then a browse round the garden and indoor shop.

The toasties we had in the cafe were delicious and came with crisps and a salad garnish. The service was great also. However, at £6.25 per toastie, I do think it was overpriced.

This really is a lovely garden centre with a very clean, hygienic cafe/restaurant area for when 'looking at plant fatigue' sets in. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food range is excellent. Prices for plants are competitive and plants look very healthy and well maintained. There are all the usual shopping opportunities we have come to expect from garden centres as they have sought to diversify to attract custom. There is a very good dog, cat and wild bird food/toys/treats/general pet supply section. The garden centre operates a loyalty scheme for regular customers and there is plenty of spacious parking.

We often visit the garden centre, have a look round, inside and outside. A great choice of bedding plants, herbs and specialised planting. Inside a good display for your gardening tools, plant pots, wooden seating etc. Then sit down for an afternoon tea, or a cup of coffee, salad, cakes etc as well, lovely fresh food. Friendly and helpful staff. My number 1 garden centre. Very clean and well kept.

Really unimpressed, quite pricey compared to the likes of others, small selections, staff rather uninviting and grumpy and not in the least bit helpful. No rain cover for the walkways through plants and no option for an umbrella etc to continue shopping. Closes at 4.30 on a Sunday ...I had a mobile reception issue for banking so didn't leave check out till 4.35 as took a couple of mins to sort but had 4 glaring staff members watching on making us feel really uncomfortable who litterally followed us out and jumped right into cars to drive off at speed being as we were such an inconvenience ... We were apologetic but have never felt such an inconvenience for trying to spend over £40. A real shame! Next time I shall go to the one next door.

Well. An unpleasant covid-related incident whilst queuing for coffee today could have so easily been avoided if the cafe management used their brains and actually used the drinks only side so that people taking ages ordering food can be bypassed for drinks only customers, thereby reducing the queue. Today's incident in the cafe shows how brainwashed people are about the covid rules of social distancing. Currently the 1 metre plus rules applies and the premises were still displaying the 2 meter markings. Knowing the 1 metre rule, we were completely within distance rules, but a woman in front of us made quite a scene by telling us to get back. Cafe management should have updated their distancing rules and floor markings so that these brainwashed people don't get it wrong and call out innocent customers who only came in to buy a hanging basket and a cup of coffee.

Usually love the cafe here, but was really annoyed and disappointed at the lack of catering for babies/toddlers. I asked for a small portion of cheese pie for my 1 year old grandson but was told they didn't do that, so was offered chips and chicken nuggets which he doesn't eat, the only other option was a box with half a sandwich, crisps, penguin and 1 slice of cucumber and carrot for £5!! I really think smaller portions should be available for children, not all kids eat junk food!

Ridiculous coffee shop rules….. popped in for a coffee and toasted tea cake but told I had to have a cream cake because it was 2pm and the management thinks that tea cakes are breakfast items!!!! It was 2pm in the afternoon for god sake………previous visit I was told I could but have a jacket potato as it was 2:45 and no hot food beyond 2:30……. Even though they still had unsold, cooked spuds going to waste……. The good old British jobsworths are still alive and well!

Downside.1 Not enough blue badge spaces. 2. Decided to have a coffee and some cake a lot of the table's had notices 'do not sit here waiting to be cleaned' so no coffee and cake. Upside. Good selection of plants at good prices. Bought a few Hostas and Foxgloves. Now planted and starting to flourish.

Has become my Go-To garden centre,. TBH no where else comes close. The quality and range of plants and products is second to none.....and the staff are just so helpful.....

Accessible for wheelchairs which I find good for my partner and easy to find items in shop. They have a good restaurant when lockdown is finished and very polite staff.

Due to lockdown , regulations are allowing you to visit Garden centres . Café is closed . But business is normal . I must say mapleborough green garden centre, have got the situation in control . My visit was as nice as it was before lockdown . So enjoy .

Love the cafe, food is always great! I was just a bit concerned that on my last visit, it appears that more tables have been added, making it harder to distance properly when seated. 🙁

Had coffee and cake here twice in less than a week. Wow, fabulous cake, my mother loves it. Very safe and clean, tables cleared quickly and sanitised along with the chairs. Its very clear where to sit. Will be going back

The restaurant has the best hygiene standards in the area. Meticulous cleaning of tables and chairs between uses. A card on each table indicates if clean to use or needs cleaning. Very safe feeling. Well done.
